The room was clean, the bed was comfortable.
The staff were friendly at reception and in the breakfast room.
We attended the NYE event and although I had requested to be seated with friends, this was not the case and we had to move tables and chairs around.
The buffet food was ok although I think there should have been more set out as I queued for 40 minutes to get food.
We were also amazed to be told, by a member of staff, that we could only have one piece of cake. At £50 per ticket we found this disappointing.

The room is big enough, but the washbasin is too small to fit a cosmetic bag
The towel rack in the bathroom is hot, so you don’t have to worry about wet towels, and it’s easy to hang some small things on it to dry
The hotel facilities are relatively new, the parking lot is free, and there are not many parking spaces, but there are not many guests, so they can park their cars.
Next to the hotel in a yard is the restaurant, it tastes good

We liked The Hotel very much. However the breakfast was not up to standard .
There was a "shortage" of foods , cutlery , sauces and the coffee was awful .

I'm staying at the Smokies for 2 months and this being week one I'm amazed at the level customer service from Reception to Dining. The rooms are cleaned everyday and there is emphasis on environmental concern to keep our planet Green. The service and food for breakfast is excellent. Staff are polite and helpful.

Really good hotel, nice spacious room, clean and a great breakfast with a lot of selection. Staff are particularly helpful in the breakfast room.

Average. New rooms are nice with a large TV and clean. Although redoing your card after every single day is a pain, gym is ridiculous and shouldn’t even be advertised. Sauna and steam room out of order for two weeks. I’d stay elsewhere. Breakfast was good
