Mulberry House

Went for afternoon tea yesterday following the spreading of my fathers-in-laws ashes. We were served by Alison and we told her we were celebrating his life. Alison went above and beyond, in our opinion, to serve us. She continued to check that we had everything we needed and the quality of the food and service was exceptional. Many thanks

We attended a wedding at this wonderful venue. I wanted to leave very positive feedback on Faz, who was a brilliant help in helping us find a cab to get us home. I insisted on asking where I should leave a review, as he saved the day when Uber prices were wildly high, and we didn’t know what to do. Thank you so much Faz!

We got married here in June 2024 and had the most amazing day. From very first looking at the venue the staff made us feel welcomed and comfortable, the feel to the place is lovely. On the run up we had constant contact and the team couldn't do enough for you, even with 2 years before the big day, any emails or questions I would have would be responded too almost instantly. Our wedding day went seamless due to the staff helping all round, they were so attentive to all of the guests and nothing was a trouble. Bar staff were super friendly and interacting with everyone. Food was amazing and the grounds were beautiful. We got so many compliments on the venue from our guests. Lucy & Josh x

Visited for the day with family had a wonderful day and the staff were very helpful, the place is very clean and tidy. I always judge a venue on the welcome received which was very good. Would return and also recommend. Thank you once again and we look forward to visiting again - Patrick

My friend and I came for afternoon tea and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. We sat in the conservatory area which was lovely looking out over the gardens. I had requested dairy free and it is by far one of the best I have had. Dairy free is certainly not an easy thing to achieve for an afternoon tea, but I felt a lot of thought had gone into the sandwich fillings and cakes and they were delicious. I have been before when there was a wedding on and we were sat in the drawing room, which I also felt held a lovely ambience, it was also lovely to watch the wedding party arriving. On all my previous visits to Mulberry House the staff have always been very efficient, accommodating and friendly, a real credit. I would highly recommend a visit

Main picture is of House and it’s beautiful. Grounds are stunning and as it advertises as a wedding venue I expect it is perfect. It is not however for a business stay. Firstly the room I was given is in converted stables so away from the main house. It is also quite a walk from the main car park. Closer is the overflow but still a good 5 mins. Room was nice in terms of decor, with double bed, walk in shower etc but just too small. I could almost touch opposite walls at the same time . Only place to hang anything was one hook. Absolutely no chance for 2 people. Main problem for me is no ability to provide food, inc no breakfast and apparently no bar. I like to work in evenings but that wouldn’t have worked. So although a lovely property it just doesn’t work for a business hotel and as such I won’t be back.

I don't even know where to start... 01.06.24 - The most perfect day I married my bestfriend at Mulberry house and we had the most amazing day from start to finish. From the moment we booked Mulberry house we knew we would be well looked after and we was! Our day from start to finish was nothing short of perfection and that was down to our amazing Claire! Claire was incredible all day long and she made sure myself and Craig were well looked after. My real life fairy Godmother for our day! I would recommend Mulberry house and the team to anyone in a heartbeat! Thank you will never be enough for how amazing you made our day x

Wow where do we start?! From the moment we pulled up to view mulberry house we just knew this is where we were going to get married. The team were incredible from the first interaction and all the way through. Our day went so smooth & if there was a hitch we didn't know about it. The team are fantastic Chloe who has helped with every bit leading up, then claire & Jo who I just cannot fault. The food is just AMAZING. We have some fussy eaters in our family and they said thats the best wedding food they have had! The food truck is the best idea and is so so yummy. I myself as the bride am gluten intolerant and everything was dealt with and i didn't miss out on a thing! The bar staff, security, the chefs everyone was just amazing. Thank you Mulberry house for just making our day an absolute dream!
