Hotel Charring Cross

Rooms were clean, there was no difference between executive & superior rooms. Hot water was not available when we checked in at 6pm

I recently stayed at the charring cross in otto unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Here are the key issues: 1. *room cleanliness and hygiene: the room was not adequately cleaned. I found dust and stains on various surfaces, which was disappointing. 2. *room allocation: despite booking an exclusive room, i was given a different, inferior room. This discrepancy was frustrating and unacceptable. 3. *room service: the room service was subpar. Requests took too long to be fulfilled, and the staff seemed disinterested. 4. *staff behavior: the staff's attitude was unprofessional. They lacked courtesy and failed to address my concerns promptly. 5. *housekeeping: the housekeeping was inconsistent. Some days, my room was not properly cleaned, and amenities were not replenished. 6. *restaurant: surprisingly, there was no restaurant on-site. This inconvenience made dining options limited.

Good treatment, satisfied with the arrangements of the hotel and location also good, the charing cross hotel is one of the best hotel to stay in ooty

location is good exactly at charring cross circle. but no parking. service is poor. on arrival there was no one to pick up luggage. very poor room service. absolutely not recommended.

Booked the stay for my neighbors and relatives. They have given positive reply after the stay at hotel

All are good but room service was not available. Over all experience was good staff was also polite.

We have scheduled check in time 12.00PM . but we reach ooty at 10.30 AM. while check in they told us for for early check in not possible. and if want to check in 1 hr early then you have to upgrade your room from standard to superior. we dont have any option at that time. so they demand extra 1000rs to upgrade and early check in . reception desk mam quite cooperative.

The rooms smell so bad and the washrooms are not hygienic. And the double bed could only fit 2 if you're slim

Very good hotel in the center of main market area. Superb weather in ooty now a days ( may -june )
