Great hotel close to the centre of Ooty, whilst all the staff were friendly and efficient particular praise must go the the lady on the customer service desk, I did not make a not of here name but I think it was Monica. Everyone in our party commented on her friendliness and efficiency is sorting out any queries Overall an excellent hotel in Ooty

My Name is Froid and we, me and my wife Simmy stayed in Fortune Sullivan Court, Ooty from 06 October 2023 untill 08 October 2024. This stay was one of the best stays ever. I owe the credit to this to the staff of the hotel and the location of the hotel itself. The hotel is located at a very strategic point which is close to the commercial area. It is located right next to the Rose gardens. The Hotel is very beautiful and calm. This hotel has been featured in many Indian movies. It was featured as actor Vijay's home in Germany in one of the movies. However, the hotel is nestled amongst the dense vegetation of Ooty which brings peace and tranquility to oneself. Talking about the distance and the time taken, you can walk to the the Rose gardens. It would take you around 5 to 8 minutes to reach the Rose gardens. It would take you 2 minutes by car. You can walk to the commercial road which is 15 minutes by walk and 5 to 8 minutes by car. Ooty bus stand is 15 minutes by car It is quite cold at the hotel and one might want to carry ***** with them the required clothing to keep yourself warm. Food is great. It has an awesome breakfast buffet which has a range of dishes from Indian to continental. The hotel staff assisting the buffet are friendly and courteous. You would be walking out with a hefty tummy. The hotel has a water hole by the name of Selbourne's bar. It's a very tranquill place to sip your whisky. Satish and his team were very good at hosting us for every evening. The hotel reception is very cozy and warm. The lighting is so which makes you feel cozy. The reception staff was very courteous and friendly. Monica, the duty manager was very helpful in all the queries that I had and had assisted us in many ways. She even went out of the way to print my work related documents as I was working at every available instance. Mr Elangovan, the hotel security staff was an ex para trooper who was very friendly and helped us with the places that can be visited around the hotel as also the attractions nearby. Mr John was a pianist who used to play his lovely piano. It's a treat to listen to him. He was very gentle natured and very well behaved. People used to get their guitars and mics and jam ***** with him. This was nothing less than a concert. The rooms are spacious and very well arranged. This place has business center as also meeting venue. There are good recreational facilitate like table tennis and snooker. This place has a spa too. There is a gym for those fitness freaks. There are horse rides for everyone who craves for a ride. The horse and it's master is there everyday during the morning hours. Our stay in Fortune Sullivan court is unforgettable. We owe every minute of our happy stay to the great hospitality of the hotel staff. The entire credit goes to them. A hotel is nothing without their staff. A charming hotel situated above the township of ooty. Grand foyer with çentral lift. Rooms are very clean and maintained well. Grounds are in good shape with billiard table and indoor games room, spa, and gym. Bar is nice with very reasonable prices. Meals are top notch. Had lunch, dinner, and breakfast. All good. Staff very helpful and attentive. Well worth a visit.

We had a lovely time at Fortune Sullivan Ooty. Excellent location, staff is very good and they pay lot of attention to every guest. We stayed for 3 nights and would definitely love to go back again. The breakfast and dinner buffet were very good. Would highly recommend this place

A fabulous hotel in the small city of Ooty. Service was excellent. One example - the tennis final was on a channel that was not subscribed to on the hotel system, they subscribed! Facilities are modern, even having USB charging points built in, in the rooms. The hotel offered several daily activities including free tea tasting every afternoon and evenings around a garden fire, (we missed out on the fire as the weather was awful during our visit ).
