Elite Stora Hotellet Örebro

Orebro|0.21km from city centre
I was in town for just one night and booked a single bedroom. When I arrived there was a lot of black mold in the shower, around the sink and on the floor next to the toilet. I contacted reception and was upgraded to another room on the same floor. The bathroom was bigger and therefore the problem was'nt as bad but there was still mold on the shower walls. I contacted reception again and was moved to a different building that was newly renovated where the gym and spaa is located. This room was great, but it's ridiculous that I had to be upgraded about two-three price classes to get a room that wasn't moldy. The first two rooms were not clean, there was so much dust on the hairdryer that it had gotten sticky. If you decide to stay in this hotel, request a room in the newly renovated building. The room there was great. For me this makes the value and overall judgement of the rooms significantly worse. If the rooms had been clean it would have been fine but for the standard offered, where the hotel clearly has a problem with mold in the older main building it's in no way near okay. As a runthrough of the rooms I got to see: Standard single bed: nice view of the castle from 3rd floor, but very moldy bathroom. Stained fabric headboard, dirty hairdryer. Otherwise fair standard. Superior double bed-room: OK view from 3rd floor, large shower with moldy walls. Dirtier hairdryer than in first room. Otherwise fine. Deluxe double bed-room with windows on ground floor: beautiful room with adjustable heating and cooling. Heated marble bathroom. Newly renovated and close to the gym and spaa. Broken ceiling-lamp but otherwise beautiful. Two single beds pushed together, so I guess they could move during the night if you share it with someone.

Livin Station Hotel

This is a wonderful boutique hotel and this place has it all. The location is brilliant, right by central station, the staff couldn't do enough for me, even helping with understanding the offsite parking until one of the hotel spaces became available. The food was wonderfuland the rooms were so quirky in line with the stain theme (key holders were old tickets). The bed were super comfortable with a great rain shower. Definitely one of the best hotels I've stayed in.
Scandic Örebro Central

We stayed here one night while we traveled between Småland and an area further up north. The hotel desk staff was so friendly. The rooms, while small as in all Scandic hotels, was clean and comfortable. We ate dinner and breakfast there and the dinner menu was limited and actually my grandfather had a difficult time finding something suitable to eat. Breakfast was amazing though with a great variety and quantity of foods! Parking was easy and was in the lot next to the hotel. If traveling through the area, I would definitely recommend this hotel!
Clarion Collection Hotel Borgen

Really lovely hotel, room decor was gorgeous, very art deco with a beautiful bathroom with free standing bath, felt so glam. It was a perfect location in a very peaceful town. Staff were so friendly and helpful. I had half board and the food was tasty, varied and plentiful, with afternoon coffee and cake thrown in. What’s not to like?
Good Morning Örebro

We had a great stay which we extended to 4 days. Ver welcoming staff. Not to big rooms, but they did their purpose. Nice breakfast/dinner-area with free coffe and tea during the day, a sunny balcony with seating just outside. Free internet. Free parking. We will come back next time in Örebro.
Best Western Eurostop Orebro

The front desk arranged for us to go above the tenth floor. It was said that the scenery was good and we saw far away. After we went up, we felt that the view was good, but the windows in the room could not be opened at all, and the ventilation was poor. The hotel is close to a large supermarket, there are many restaurants around, and parking at the door is very convenient. I found the picture of the supermarket next door...
