Everything is very good, clean, and new. The main problem of the family room is that the bunk bed is too short (about 1.6m long). Since I have a younger kid, the younger kid cannot sleep alone in the bunk bed, so the father and the younger kid sleep in the king bed, and it’s too short for the mother (1.65m tall) to sleep in the bunk bed. In additions, the king bed is not big enough for 3 of us to sleep together, and a bit short also for the tall father. It’s not 2m long, not a regular size of king bed. Btw, it’s a very nice hotel and the staffs there are very polite and nice, if it has connecting rooms with regular size twin beds, I will choose this hotel again.

I had an excellent experience overall. The position is absolutely perfect, right between Namba station and the heart of the vibrant street-food district. You can be at Namba station in 5 minutes by walk.
The room was spacious enough, and the shower and tub were beautiful. Everything was very clean.
The only thing that I found slightly odd was the structure of the building: the hotel does not really feel like a hotel when you enter, because it shares the building with other businesses. So the actual lobby is on the 11th floor. Still, the staff were welcoming and kind.

Very good location, walking distance to dotonbori, Kuromon Ichiba Market and Nipponbashi subway station. Toilet and shower room are separated. The room size is really small. It might be a problem if you are travelling with large luggage.

The hotel has a great location, with views of Osaka Castle, and it's only 20 minutes to attractions like Osaka's Shinsaibashi. There was a concierge when we checked in. Even though we have Gold status, we stayed in an executive room, so after we checked in at the front desk, we went to the lounge to wait for our room to be ready. Once it was, our luggage had already been moved into the room. There was no welcome fruit, but there were cookies. The room is not large, 26 sqm, but it is very well-decorated, with high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a nice view. The hotel just opened in 2024, so all the facilities are very new. The hardware is well-made, and the bathroom is fully equipped with TOTO smart fixtures. The quality of the food and drinks in the lounge was quite good, and the desserts weren't too sweet. In addition to a continental breakfast, you can also enjoy some Japanese specialty snacks. The electronic room key worked well, with hardly any issues. It could be used in the gym, pool, elevator, and room. The gym isn't large, but it's well-equipped, with all Precor products.

This time I stayed in Osaka for 12 days, accompanied my daughter to attend a short-term art course, stayed in 3 hotels, and stayed in Four Seasons for the last three nights. The service is better than InterContinental. The staff will greet the guests when they enter and leave. It's good! We booked a tatami room on the 28th floor, and the check-in was also on the 28th floor. The service is like the executive floor with dedicated service. The staff are from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Shanghai. I like to drink tea. The handmade tea they make is delicious. When I have time, I run to ask the staff to make tea for me. After 5 pm, you can also have a glass of wine (free) to enjoy the sunset. Small desserts are also provided. Ctrip shows that breakfast is not included, but it is actually included in the store. You can choose to eat a box Japanese breakfast on the 28th floor or a semi-buffet on the first floor. The breakfast is delicious and rich! We have tried the French restaurant on the first floor for lunch and dinner, which is very good! Afternoon tea requires reservations. There are many Japanese! The 37th floor is a Chinese restaurant that I didn't try. In addition, the sushi restaurant has not opened yet!

Context & Disclaimer: I'm a very objective travel reviewer as someone who has a fair share of business and leisure stays. I leave reviews to help hotels improve their standards and also to help my fellow travellers make the best travel decisions for themselves. I've stayed at luxury to mid-range properties around the world including recent stays at the Prince Gallery Tokyo, Ritz-Carlton Tokyo, Ritz-Carlton Toronto, JW Marriott Hong Kong. This review also follows a recent stay at the Prince Gallery Tokyo where the standards were exceptionally high. I haven't reviewed them yet but will do so shortly. Japan is known for its warm hospitality and careful attention to detail. At high-end hotels, they go over the top particularly to make your experience a unique one, so when you're paying $700+/night for the Ritz you expect high standards. Especially when every luxury hotelier in Tokyo has said the RC Osaka was just recently awarded its 5* My guest journey starts off rocky and torpedoes downhill. Check-In 1 - it's been raining in Osaka all day and we walked into the hotel from the outside. No one to greet us or take our luggage. Not a single person to be found. 2 - I'm soaking wet and struggling to find the check-in lobby. I must've seen 3 staff members look at me and not offer help or ask if I need any assistance. 3 - I finally find the check-in lobby where it's a giant zoo and RC staff directing traffic like its 5pm at Shibuya crossing. An absolute loud mess. I'm still soaking wet with my glasses and both pieces of luggage, and a staff member asks me if I'm checking in or checking out. What??? 0 attention to detail right there. Anyway, she directs me to wait in line. 4 - At the RC Tokyo & Prince Gallery Tokyo and any luxury hotel that operates like one (e.g., Four Seasons), takes your luggage and ask for your name. By the time you make it to check-in, they greet you by name and help you get settled in. If you book a room on the club floor, they ask if you'd like to check-in there privately. Yes I booked a Club Room, and so I waited about 10 minutes dripping wet before asking someone if I could please check-in via the Club Lounge. 5 - We're making our way to the Club Lounge, with the attendant dragging our luggage along the way which makes lots of noise. 6 - Finally check-in with no problems. The Room 7 - I understand that this is a Victorian-style property and some of the room and structure might be dated. But I can't believe that the bathtub is something from a Residence Inn or Courtyard Marriott. The shower is equally not up to par with the RC brand. 8 - Toiletries. I'm not sure if this is RC making a push for sustainability, but soap, shampoo, and conditioner are given to guests in large bottle format, again like at a Residence Inn or Courtyard Marriott, instead of small individual bottles. Not a big deal, but just not up to par with other luxury hotels or RC standards across Japan. What if someone spit in there? Back to the lounge

My stay at THE SINGULARI HOTEL & SKYSPA at UNIVERSAL STUDIOS JAPAN was exceptional. The modern, spacious rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel’s amenities, particularly the SKYSPA with its stunning views, were impressive. Place was superb, spacious room, conveniently located right in front of Sakurajima Station which is one stop to Universal City. Perfect for those who have a USJ trip. However all the great things here were dampened by the lack of iron provided by the hotel. Asked for iron from the time i checked in to the hours nearing check-out, and none available. When i requested to be notified whenever an iron became available, they simply said no. No further explanation was given to their refusal, and the staff seemed to struggle to communicate in English. I wouldn't have minded if this was a 2 or a 3-star hotel, but it was a 4-star hotel. The hospitality and communication were not up to par for a 4-star hotel, and the staff's limited English was not helpful to mend the situation. Walking around with wrinkled clothes was not really pleasing. Would choose a different 4-star hotel near to USJ in the future.

We got a great deal with Trip and stayed on the Club floor for 2 nights. The hotel entrance was a bit hard to find when you are walking through the mall. Checked in at the Club floor and it was very efficient. Room was very spacious and very clean. Club floor experience was excellent with breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails. We had particularly good experience with the afternoon cocktails as they made lots of different ones for us that was not the standard menu.

MMelciaVery convenient as it is near the Osaka station and umeda station. There are plenty of malls nearby too. Ichiran ramen is just 5 mins away too!
There are amenities at the 1st floor which provided facial cream, toner and cleansing oil as well.
They only provide 2 bottles of water a day.
GGuest UserPerfect Location, close to Umeda Eki/Osaka Station. A great place if you enjoy shopping.
But!! The room we lived in has poor drainage in the toilet. The water was leaking on the ground, which made the floor very slippery. We contacted the front desk in the morning however the problem was not resolved when we came back in the evening. Finally, a staff liaised for us and we finally changed to a new room. No compensation and I did not hear any apologies. Well, thank you for the help but it cost us some time and made me a bit uncomfortable. The new room was all good.
Staffs are nice and friendly, polite. Thank you for the service. Considering the price, it's not that cost-effective from my point of view.
AAshleeeeeIt’s the best location ever! We spent two nights there since we bought 1.5 days’ tickets of USJ. The hotel is exactly located at the front of USJ, it’s very convenient for us to queue in the early morning and rest immediately when we left USJ at 10pm! We don’t have to worry about the time and the transportation!
Although we left USJ late, we can still get some snacks and drinks in the convenient stores nearby! It’s happy to stay at this hotel!
Ccskphc2004The hotel is located close to the Exit 5 of the Green and Brown Lines of Osaka Metro. However, prepare a strong heart because when you arrive to the exit you will have to climb 4 floors of stairs to reach the hotel every time. The other exit with lift is further away. The hotel itself I will only classify as a modernised INN rather than a stared hotel, not as per its name stated. The cleaning services are not up to the standards you would expect for normal hotels in Japan.
The breakfast itself is another downside if you live here more than four nights, because you would only have four choices everyday every time you go down. The chef made good food but, having stayed here for 9 nights you will get sick and tired of the breakfast pretty soon. Rather, I would recommend just go to local Japanese supermarkets to shop for breakfast and bento for the next day.
เเขี้ยวกุดThe breakfast room is clean and delicious meal
New hotel the lobby is on the second floor
Besides the yodobauashi subway station the lift exit is opposite the hotel and the inter junction with nipponbashi stations around 5 minute,
The underground pathway of subway station have Starbucks ( open until 22.00pm) the beside hotel have McDonald’s, Eion mart open 24 hour
It is comfortable to travelling in Osaka because the yodobayashi station in 1 next station to namba station and Shinsaibashi sta too . We can walk to Shinsaibashi shopping street
HHalsansanI stayed at this hotel because Aikata participated in the Osaka marathon. There is a deep shop around the hotel that can eat cheap and delicious things. If you use the hotel, you can enter and exit the hotel after checking in. The hotel has a different entrance and exit from the facility user, but you have to take off your shoes. Take your shoes to geta box and store them and walk barefoot in the hotel. Is the room simple and business hotel? However, the bed comfort was the best. There was also UB, but there was a large hot spring facility, so I didn't use the bus in the room. I was booked for one night, but this city was too fun to stay for another night. I negotiated and luckily I had a vacancy, so I ended up staying overnight.
TTuck ChuenFantastic location provides easy access to dinning, shopping and entertainment. The service provided by the staffs is top notch. Room are clean and bed is really comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast very much. Great hotel to stay!
LLtse112The location is good. Staff are friendly & helpful. The hotel is clean, and with amenities that you can be hassle free. They have a comnon area equipped with microwave and provide free flow of drinks, such as coffee, tea & soft drinks... etc., which is excellent! They serve ramen at reasonable price up to 21:00, love it!
JJeryl STo be honest, holiday inn has been quite disappointing these few years.
This was my least favourite hotel amongst the ones I’ve stayed at in Japan.
Service was good and they allowed us to check in earlier as the rooms were ready.
But the rooms were really a tight squeeze, charging points were not in very accessible locations, lights were super dark and bad for getting ready, water kept getting clogged in the bathtub coz the flow was so slow….
But the good thing is that it’s in a very good location as many places were within walking distance. Though this can be a bad point as well if you’re staying on the lower floors as it can get quite noisy if you’re facing the streets.
Which is what happened for my other room.
HHktphongThe hotel as a whole needs to be clean as well, because you live on a higher floor and have a good view. The location of the hotel is also very convenient. It is also convenient to go to Kuromon Market and Dotonbori. There is also a railway station nearby.
