JStar Hotel shinsaibashi Reviews

This is one of our most comfortable hotel/airbnb stay in the whole of our Japan trip. We have been to Osaka 3 times for 5-7 days stay and this is by far the best, affordable stay. Room is really clean and new. Towels are fluffy and soft. Great shower taps with micro adjustment for water temperature. Heated water comes out consistently. (Comparing with some reputable hotels), no cold water burst during shower. Awesome! separate shower and bathtub, big plus point. Washing machine function well, balcony for drying clothes. Room looks like what’s advertised and way better than expected considering the price. Big, comfortable, enough space for couples. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash are of good quality, not drying. Beds are really comfortable, comforters keep use warm enough. Pillows are not too high or hard. Curtains are not the total blackout kind, so bring eye mask if you’re a light sleeper but normal sleeper like my husband can sleep through the early morning sunrise with no issue. I slept really well even though I am a very light sleeper. Close to train station. Met the staffs on our first day and very friendly and helpful. Highly highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again when we visit!

The location is excellent, very close to the subway. The room is very new, clean, and relatively quiet. You can also cook something to eat, and there are convenience stores and supermarkets nearby. The landlady is very nice and deserves a five-star rating!

The room is relatively large for a Japanese hotel. It is very clean and has new facilities. There is even laundry detergent, induction cooker, microwave oven and washing machine. It is suitable for couples. It is also very convenient to hang clothes on the balcony. It is also close to Shinsaibashi shopping district. I am very satisfied.

The hotel is located at Matsuyamachi Station, only two stations away from Shinsaibashi Station. The location is good. The room also has a washing machine and balcony, which can be used. But the only drawback is that the hotel arranged for us to stay in a room on the top floor. The whole room was hot and could not cool down. It was very stuffy and hot. Also, it is recommended that the hotel can put tissues, toothbrushes, etc. in the self-service area for self-pickup. It is not enough but there is no one to ask for them, which is quite troublesome.

It is a self-service B&B with spacious rooms and complete facilities. It takes a while to walk to the surrounding popular areas. The sound insulation is average. The check-out time is a bit early, and there is no suitable reception desk to wait after check-out. However, based on the price, it is acceptable.

Trip.com did not send me the apartment entrance password via email, so it took me almost an hour just to call the staff and get in. In addition, unlike the rating of 4.8 points, it was very inconvenient because you had to go more than 5 minutes to nearby amenities. It was also ridiculous that they asked me to pay extra for cleaning or towels. There are many other good hotels, so I recommend booking elsewhere.

We booked 3 rooms in total, and everyone was very satisfied. We will recommend it to friends.

New, clean, bright enough, easy to check-in, nice owner! The only thing is that there is no cleaning service at all, I understand that Japanese homestays and hotels will not have cleaning services every day, but I stay 8 days, bedding, towels used 8 days -_- Just hope it can be improved

第一次去日本大阪唔想住咁細同埋咁近心齋橋，所以揀左呢間我認為性價比高既民宿(嚴格來講佢唔算酒店). 客服態度好好，房間乾淨企理。廁所大煮食用具都有。 一層只有两間房私隱度算幾好。雖然離心齋橋大約1km遠，但樓下有小電車借,踩過去心齋橋5-10分鐘，對於我來講算方便。

It's very clean and tidy. You can wash your clothes and wear clean clothes every day!

First of all, this is a B&B, not a hotel. Overall, it’s not bad. It would be better if someone provided a change of bath towels every day.

The customer service is courteous, clean and hygienic, very comfortable and feels like home. 😊
