Mitsui Garden Hotel Osaka Premier Reviews

Mitsui Garden Osaka is a little far out of the way from the main Osaka train station but it tries to remedy this with a free daily shuttlebus service from the station to the hotel which runs till 9pm thereabouts. (You do need to figure your way to the right train exit. cross a road, walk a short distance before you reach the shuttle bus stop. For a super loooong station, it may mean a lot of running in order to make it in time for the bus). Rooms are clean and spacious, I like how this Mitsui hotel has both indoor and outdoor public bath areas (although Mitsui Fukuoka is still the best among the four Mitsui hotels I stayed across Japan to date). I also really appreciate how the staff here are able to understand and speak more English compared to many other hotels. Breakfast buffet is good too

The hotel is very good as usual. We always choose Mitsui Garden when we travel in Janpan. Good room Good service Good location. If you have a chance ,pls try .

We stayed here for 4 nights while we were in Osaka and we enjoyed our experience there. The check-in process was smooth as most staff could converse in English. They were also very helpful & kind - even surprised us with a little gift as we were in Japan for our honeymoon. We were also thankful that we could store our luggage there after we checked out Room wise - it exceeded our expectations in terms of size as there were tables & seats for us and we had enough space for our luggages. The beds & pillows were comfy enough for us. Shower area was nice & flow was decent - can be a bit better. Toilet was decent too. We had plenty of space to place our belongings. Amenities wise - there were 2 washers & 2 dryers. Payable by app or coins. Onsen was decent, more modern & had carbonated water & also a jacuzzi outside. It was very clean. Could have provided towels inside though.. Location wise - it's a bit of a walk from the main train stations but there were a few options to travel from. Nearest stations being Higobashi & Yodoyabashi. But the hotel does offer shuttle bus services to and from Osaka City station a few times each hour & they were very punctual. This did help us to travel to different areas of Osaka rather easily. There were many shops & food options around the area to try out - we did love this Tori Soba Zagin which one should try esp if they are staying in the hotel. We would definitely consider staying here again if we were to return to Japan!

All staff members were very friendly and professional. My Japanese is very limited but communication was never an issue as all members speak very good English. Location is very good (hotel overlooks the Tosahori River) and it’s walking distance to restaurants, museums and Osaka Station. Hotel was very clean and well kept (appearance is new). Rooms were comfortable (good size) and modern. AC works great which is a plus if you visit during the summer months. There is an Onsen but timing did not allow for me this visit. I would stay at Mitsui Garden and recommend to other colleagues for future visits.

My all time favourite hotel in osaka. Walking distance to train station higobashi. 24/7 convenient shop just beside the hotel. Onsen at level 16. What more could I ask for ?

The hotel’s ambience is really good, pretty and giving neat feeling. The room has no carpet and separated shower and toilet. Whilst it is not too big, it is enough for 2 people and it has a table where you could have your snacks on. All in all it is enough, shower room is relatively spacious. There is shuttle bus every 30 minutes or 20 minutes at certain hours to JR Osaka. It is very convenient. It is actually in office area hence no mall nearby. It is close to the river and there is 7-11 and Familymart nearby. I recommend this place if you don’t have to stay in the centre of Namba or Umeda.

Excellent hotel and very clean. Really enjoy the hot spa at roof top. The only thing is the location as it is a bit far from Osaka station and not easy to go in and out. Shuttle location is unclear and took me 30 minutes to find it. Great breakfast and service 100%

Overall good experience, quiet area, but still convenient. Staff were pleasant. The sound proofing could have been better. Could hear people walking and closing doors in the hallway. Also the men’s public shower had some bugs on the walls, and mold on the ceiling, could use a deep cleaning.

Reasonable distance away from the train station, not far from Osaka station. Several convenience store nearby.
