Porta Inn Bentencho Reviews

Location: Next to Bentencho station so easy access to Osaka loop line and Chuo Line for Subway and Rail. Really good location even though it's not central Osaka. The advantage is that you can still get everywhere within 10-20mins and the surrounding area is clean and safe and quiet. There is a 7-11 next door and a commercial gym (charged at 1650 per day) Negatives are there is not much to do in the evenings. But this leads to the quietness of the area and is an advantage Hotel Room: We stayed in double room and it was large. Nice comfortable bed with good pillows. The AC was modern and good and did not make noise even while we were asleep. The room is cleaned daily (tidy and new towels) with new sheets every 3 days. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided. The room was also very clean. The bed has USB and chargers on either side of it. There is space to hang clothes But the room is really nice. We always were glad to come back to a very clean and tidy place. The TV has English menus but we never watched anything. Negatives are the fridge could be colder and the bathroom sink has a tiny slope on it so you cannot place product on the sink but you have a shelf above the sink for this. Very slight negatives for what is a great place to stay Hotel features: Excellent. Great laundry room with several washers & dryers. Trouser presses, vending machine and ice machine. A rooftop terrace with good views. The breakfast is free and is underwhelming, just different bread and pastries with choices of juice, soups, water and yogurt. It's acceptable and I guess it's free. The hotel lobby has little items you can take if needed, such as hair bands, toothbrushes, razor kits but something nice was that they give you bath bombs for free too. Different ones each day. Staff: Very friendly and helpful, even after midnight when I made requests they were very fast and helpful Overview: 100% would stay here again. The price-to-quality ratio and the large room size make this an easy choice. Do not worry about location, I stayed it Dontonburi area before and alothgh its close to everything, its loud, dirty and feels unsafe. But the location of Porta Inn is really good and super easy to get to central areas (around 10-20mins) and easy to get to the airport (direct line) and easy to get to Universal Studios too.

Superb experience staying at Porta Inn..the menities provided are sufficient for a comfortable stay and location of hotel is convenient as its quite close to railway station. Universal is 3 stops away and Osaka is also quite near.

Very close to Bentencho train station. A lot of good izakaya restaurants and convenience store surrounding that area. Most importantly, is just a few minutes train to Universal Studio Japan. Very comfortable and clean stay, staff is friendly and helpful. Defintely recommend this for business travel or leisure.

Fun experience

This is my 35th free trip to Japan. I found this treasure hotel when my daughter was older and needed a room for 3 people. We went to Kaiyukan on the first day, Universal on the second day, and left for the airport on the morning of the third day. All our needs are met here. It takes 2 stops to Kaiyukan Subway Chuo Line, 3 stops to Universal JR (transfer to Nishi-Kujo), and one bus to the airport without transfer. The room is really big, the decoration is really new, and the bed is really big. It feels like it is enough to sleep 4 adults and 1 child. The separate shower and toilet really save time. The most amazing thing is that there is a sliding door between the washing area and the rest area to soundproof and not affect each other. This designer must be a person with children. The breakfast on the first floor only has bread, yogurt, juice, etc. I basically didn't eat it. There is a 7-11 at the door, and I basically solved it there. The hotel price from Sunday to Thursday is really touching, it is too cost-effective. I will definitely stay here when I come to Osaka in the future. In my heart, it is temporarily ranked first in Osaka family rooms.

There are quite few reviews for this hotel, so I decided to add them. The location is excellent, you can see it from Bentencho Station. The sanitation is pretty good, the facilities are relatively new, and the area is okay. The bed should be at least 1 meter, not 0.8 meters, and the bed can be moved and put together.

The hotel is very good in every aspect. Friends, please note that if you choose to live here, you must research the red circle of the Osaka loop line. This subway line has confused me many times.

When using USJ, this accommodation is located closest to the nearby stations, and the price and room quality are very good. It's nice that there's a convenience store right on the first floor. However, since nearby restaurants close early during dinner, it is recommended that you check in advance or go in after eating.

I was satisfied with everything. I will be visiting the Bentencho area in the future, so I would like to make this a regular place to stay.
