The hotel front desk and all staff members are extremely polite, making the experience very comfortable, so a full score is a must. The hotel's location is convenient, adjacent to a large shopping mall and supermarket, which is highly accessible. The only minor issue is that the television cabinet was a bit dusty and could use better cleaning, but this does not significantly impact the overall satisfaction. In summary, this hotel can be considered an excellent choice.

Travelled with my family to Osaka. Its conveniently beside to OCAT, where the airport bus arrives.
It’s walking distance to the busy part of Osaka, and subways.
Hotel is clean and posh. Staff are super helpful.
View from the room is amazing.

Still view this as the best hotel in Osaka aside from being nostalgic to my high school days staying here with my family, it offers a great view of the city as well

This is our favorite hotel in Osaka. It's located beside the OCAT, so it's so convenient for us to get to and from the KIX airport. It's Bus No. 11 at the airport, and it costs 1,300 yen 1 way or 2,300 yen round-trip. There is no need to bring our loaded suitcases around the streets of Namba.
The rooms are clean and complete with amenities. There is a Lawson store underneath and a nearby supermarket. The train stations are a few meters away. Oh, and there's the Namba Walk where you can find various restaurants and shops.
We will stay in this hotel over and over again.

Hotel service and location are very good.
We can easily find the hotelication as soon as bus arrived.
But, room view is not good. Actually we cannot see anything thorougout the window.
And facilities are too old.

We spent 7 nights there. So I asked for a better view room because we spent so many days there. But actually no views at all. Next to the hotel is a site. Workmen doing construction work. Workmen went everywhere everyday. Really disappointed. The carpet, the cupboards looked dark and old. The lights are not bright enough.
For sure will not book again of this price. Not worth. DISAPPOINTED. For my travel experience in Japan for more than ten times , the worst ever!

Location was fine if you want to take bus to and from KIX. Because it is just next to it.
Can easily take bus no. 60 to aquarium.
Supermarktet and few stores are located on the same building.
Check-in was fine. Most of the staff can communicate in English very well.
We had our issue with cleanliness as the room was dusty and they did not change cups and glasses.
We complained and got new glasses but the dust and dirts were still there....
Provided amenities were less than other hotels, even with less stars.
Breakfast looked at first quite impressive, but after three days, almost the same choice.
Staff was nice and friendly like what we can expect from Japanese Culture.
Room is small and overpriced in my opinion.
In general the view was great.
Breakfast OK.
Cleanliness need to be improved.
Due to the old-fashioned furniture dust and dirts will be there....

Overall there is very good service and professional. however, if there can increase a luggage scale to weigh suitcases in the lobby instead of bathroom scale, it should be perfect and more professional for travelers.

Our stay at Monterey Hotel Grasmere Osaka was fantastic. The rooms were spacious enough for two and exceptionally clean. The hotel's proximity to Namba Station, just a three-minute walk away, made exploring Osaka effortless. With attractions like Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori within walking distance, our experience was perfect overall.

A very pleasant stay at the Hotel. Location is very strategic..close to jr, metro and limousine bus and near Halal restaurants and Dotonburi. Housekeeping is prompt and magnetic houskeeping tags sure helps.

A good experience at this hotel. The staff is nice.
The size of the guest room & bathroom is acceptable compared with the usual small size of guest room in Japan.

Perfect location! This hotel was everything we needed as we stayed for two nights in Osaka - food options, train/bus and a short walk to restaurants, shops and the famous running man neon light.

The location is very good. Just right beside the OCAT bus terminal that has the airport limousine. Great when you travel with elderly or kids. The room is decent in size and relatively clean. Just that this hotel is pretty old and the room are not really renovated. Otherwise, it’s a comfortable stay. It’s also walkable to the prime shopping area, Shinsaibashi. It’s a return stay for me due to the convenience of the airport limo service to the hotel location.
