Dotonbori Hotel Reviews

The hotel is a 5 mins walk from exit no. 25 of Namba station. Be warned that there is no elevator at this exit, so be prepared to climb 3 flights of steps up to the ground level. Location wise is very close to Dontonburi and Shinsaibashi for shopping and food. Room is very small, with space for 1 mid sized luggage. Toilet is very tight, the bathtub and wash basin co shares a space. Verdict - excellent location but make do with space.

Room was okay. Aircon cannot change setting lower than 20 during summer period. Shower room could be little cleaner as found hair on toilet seat and floor. Overall the front hotel statues is a good gimmick but after that wears off this hotel does not offer much apart from where its located.

Great location to go to dotonburi. The hotel has a range of feee drinks, ice cream and activities for guest which will interest kids. However do note, the sound proofing is not good. Kids playing can be heard from the next room. My neighbour was so angry that they bang the wall so hard to should their displeasure. And I can feel that we are only divided by that think wall.

Perfect location, 2 min walk from the Glico. Free noodles, beer and ice cream every night at 8:30 for all. Laundry room available at a very decent cost. Breakfast buffet is amazing as well. Free umbrella for use. And then free tea, coffee and some other drinks all through the day. Would def stay again.

Awesome stay for us. Spent 3 nights as a family with 2 kids. As other reviewers mentioned, free flow ice cream n beer/alcohol 3pm to 11pm. Free instant noodles 10.30pm to 11pm. Also a free drink machine at Lobby accessible 24 hours, with coffee, tea and hot /cold water. One other thing I really appreciated was the stroller we could borrow for free. It was a sturdy Joie stroller that folds with 1 hand, really convenient when u need to go up the stairs at train stations or in busy restaurants. Rooms were small but expected of Japanese hotels. We had a triple room for 4 of us and while it wasn't roomy it was do-able. Location was awesome. Will stay again.

Great location for shopping & eating. Hotel lobby provide free ice-cream , beer, sake and Cup noodles atm, thats really warm

Location is quiet good, only 3mins walk to Dotanbori shopping district. 7mins walk to Umno station. Free tea,coffee and ice cream. A lady receptionist recommended us to visit Nara, which is fantastic. Also I found UMNO station via 30 was a shopping center,we love it .

Great location near Dotonbori!!!

The location is good, but the hygiene in the room is not good. The bathroom vents were filled with dust, and dust fell out when the ventilation was turned on. We saw snack particles under the bed that we had not eaten. I believe the floor and under the bed were not cleaned. It's a small room for three people, and there's no room for suitcases in the three single beds.

The location is great, very close to Shinsaibashi, 5 minutes. Close to Namba subway, and within walking distance to the airport Nankai line. But the room is very small and humid, not very comfortable to stay in, the hotel service is very good.
