Oriental Hotel Universal City Reviews

The hotel is near the JR station(around 2-3 mins walk) and just in front of the USJ (around 5 mins walk). This is absolutely a nice place if you have plan a trip to USJ. It reduces your time on travel back and forth to the Osaka city after queuing the whole day in USJ. There was a welcome drink on the check in date, and snack (a tasty hotdog) in the evening. The breakfast is tasting good and looking nice as well. The room is clean and it has a nice view with the front door of USJ. It’s absolutely amazing. Definitely we recommend you to stay in this hotel.

It's such a great experience staying there with my family. it is near the station exit and the USJ just around the corner. though I feel it would be great to have more furniture in the room since I have nowhere to place my things and clothings except a small table and a chair in the room. This time It's my first to use Airporter for delivering my luggage to my next hotel. it saves us a lot of time in transferring. I like it!

Wonderful property. Room looks to be renovated. Decent sized with reasonable amenities for the price. Location close to USJ and train station. Plenty of restaurants just outside the Hotel. Welcome voucher include drink and cookies bar, and a hot dog per person. Internet was good. There is free luggage storage facility. One downside is there is no coin laundry facility.

Staff and helpful and went beyond their duties to help check and get confirmation of our booking of night bus from USJ to Tokyo. Breakfast was well-catered for guests of different age group including children between 2-12 years old. Lastly, the location of the hotel being not too far from the train station and USJ but affordable for 3 nights stay is a plus point

The hotel is less than 5 minutes walking distance to the gate of Universal Studio Japan. You can spot it once stepping out of the train station. There was a baggage room for guests before and after checking in/out of the hotel to store their shopping loot and luggage. It is very considerate for guests who are visiting the USJ for 2 consecutive and/or too tired after playing one whole day in it. There is also a bathtub in our room which we can have a hot bath/foot bath after walking around the park (or even standing queueing up for hours). Their front desk staff can communicate in English and Chinese. Very grateful for it!

Perfect location to suit our needs to have more convenient access to Universal Studio Japan. The hotel room is clean and spacious. The staff are nice too. Good choice.

The location is very nearest and convenient. The facilities was quite enough and new. The breakfast was delicious.

We stayed in a connecting room and it is quite spacious for 4 pax. It is really near to USJ and it was comforting to know we just need to walk 5mins after a tiring day at USJ. There are many restaurants around and 24hr Lawsons. The hotel's breakfast was really good too! Highly recommended for families with 4 or 5pax to stay here.

It is only 3mins walk to Universal Studios and you can even do additional shopping at the souvenir shops which is located just outside of your hotel lobby!! Totally suitable for a 2nights stay to enjoy Universal Studios and a short train ride also to Osaka Aquarium via JR Universal City station just beside your hotel as well.

good location and everything is nice. breakfast is good but there is not much choice at all. generally is fine and very close to JR station recommend only for who going to USJ

The room was nice. We got 4 single beds. But the aircon is not working. We told the front desk about it and they bring us the portable aircon and since it was spring back then and the weather still cold so it still ok.
