TownePlace Suites Oshawa

It was a stopover to Montreal. The rooms were big, clean and the breakfast was good and simple.

I stayed in this Hotel on several occasions this year and I highly recommend it. All personnel is great, responsive and helpful. A special thank to Victoria who has been truly amazing and customer centric by accommodating a change between two stays; not only she made it happen, but she is also the one who recommended the solution when I described my problem. Truly great customer service.

We are staying here because of a house fire in a home we just moved into in Bowmanville. It's a stressful time, to say the least. What makes is a hundred times easier, is the staff here. They are INCREDIBLE. Everyone from the breakfast attendants, to housekeeping, to the restaurant and certainly - and most importantly - the guest services staff. Issues can be resolved - it's HOW they are resolved that separates a good hotel from an outstanding one. And this, is an outstanding hotel.

I booked this hotel for a traveling production crew through their Group Reservation Specialist Kayla. Kayla was one of the most helpful representatives that I have ever worked with through my years of travel coordinating. I got nothing but positive reviews from our crew during and after their stay. The rooms were well kept and spotless, the front desk representatives were kind and helpful at every interaction, the breakfast was good and the restaurants/bar offerings were very high quality as well. Our crew has been traveling all over the US and a bit in Canada and this hotel got the most positive reviews from our crew. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area!

I am very disappointed in my stay at the towneplace suites oshawa. I arrived around 7pm with my family which consists of 2 children under the age of 5. As soon as we entered the room we immediately could tell someone had been smoking in there. Called front desk and they were booked solid for the night. They sent a lovely house keeping lady who used probably an entire bottle of “all natural” odor spray. She sprayed the walls, the carpets, the furniture (not the sheets) and the entire bathroom. So now not only did our room stink of smoke there was an extremely pungent smell of cucumber. I bit my tongue, we all went to bed and all (except the youngest who wouldn’t know what a headache was) woke up with screaming headaches in the morning. Walking into breakfast and seeing the amount of construction workers who stay there, the smoking situation did not surprise me. However, how it wasn’t noticed by anyone else (cleaning staff) is what does surprise me. What also surprises me is that I still paid full price for a disgusting stay that I had to endure with small children. I am sorry, but ehat is not acceptable. I have been a loyal Marriott bonvoy member for many years, and I am very disappointed in this stay and how the situation was handled. I would not recommend staying here and will not be back.

Very nice Hotel. Actually there are 2 hotels in one (Courtyard and TownPlace), we stayed at the TownPlace side, which includes breakfast. The hotel is newly renew and it is very nice, clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little far from Toronto (about 1 hour), but for pricing is a little nice for stay.

Excellent newer Town Place. Have never stayed at a Town Place before. Upon arrival, Danielle instantly made me feel at home and at ease. She checked me in all the while recognizing my Marriott Bonvoy status. Got an upgrade which we really appreciated. The beds are comfy. The room is nice. The full size fridge and kitchen appliances were also nice. Nice warm salt water pool which we used. Breakfast buffet was good. Fresh whole fruit which was nice. Would stay again!
