The location is along Route 1, so it's easy to find. However, the convenience store (Sebuile) is a little far on foot. You can go to the Ofuro Cafe next door from the hotel without having to go outside. Ofuro Cafe's popular play (Ohatsu) was really exciting. Recommended! The room is auto-locked and uses a card key, so the toilet and sink are outside the room (shared) so if you don't bring your card, you'll be locked out, so be careful! When I returned, the TV was turned off, which was quite annoying. Is it obvious? The rest is quiet and full. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of Japanese and Western options.

It's a 5-minute walk from Otsu JR Station and a 10-minute walk from Keihan Electric Railway's Torino-Seki Station. The location is good. Super is a chain of budget hotels with high cost performance and includes buffet breakfast. I especially want to praise the service at the front desk. The next morning, I found that the traffic was exhausted. The front desk said that Otsu is a small place and needs to go to Kyoto or Osaka to buy, and asked me about the itinerary for the day. I said that I would go to Koyasan and transfer in Osaka; after that I went to have breakfast. Halfway through the breakfast, the front desk came over with a color printed map (Osaka JR Station), and told me that I checked it. There is a yodobashi, which is on the right hand side of the station. I thank you. After eating, wait for the elevator , she came here with a highlighter in order to mark yodobashi on the map, it was just a trivial matter, but this kind of service awareness, the spirit of feeling that I can still do it, moved me, it is worth learning, stranger , a small city, a small thing makes Otsu warm and memorable.

I stayed with my family for 2 nights for purposes. I chose this one near the station because of the location, but the room is a business hotel type and is by no means large. Is it kept clean? I couldn't deny that the equipment was aging, so I entered the room and there was a spot that was noticeable. Although it is 2 consecutive nights, the card key will not work at 11 o'clock the next day, probably because I booked one night at a time, and an error occurred. I asked the front desk to deal with two stories, but I went to the front desk again without apologizing and went to the front desk again. From the time of check-in, I couldn't feel the service spirit at all at the front desk, and it was clerical. This hotel seems to have nothing to do with that. Because there are usually more people cleaning the room for one night, the aunt uses the entire corridor to spread the used linen in each room, and it is difficult to walk in the corridor. The elevator is also occupied by a linen transport cart around 1100-1300, and it is difficult to get there. It's okay if you just sleep, but it feels a little expensive for that room and service.

The room was clean and the staff was very welcoming! I feel that the problem with all this kind of house is that the sound insulation is not very good, you can hear the conversation of the people next door and face the street. The faucet in the shower room has not had hot water for a long time. But it is still recommended here, very comfortable feeling, breakfast is also delicious! ! 2 nights and 3 days with my wife We used 1 nights on Kusatsu ｴﾘｱ trip [other 1 nights are ﾎﾃﾙ ﾎﾞｽﾄﾝﾌﾟﾗｻﾞ Kusatsu (SOUTH WING)]. Since this ｼﾝｸﾞﾙ was 15m2, we used 2 rooms ｺﾝﾌｫｰﾄ ﾂｲﾝ (room ｽﾍﾟｰｽ 23m2 ﾍﾞｯﾄﾞ width 120cm x2 TV 32 ｲﾝﾁ) considering the residence. Compared to the nearby ﾎﾃﾙ ﾎﾞｽﾄﾝﾌﾟﾗｻﾞ Kusatsu, there is a difference between ｼﾝｸﾞﾙﾕｰｽ and ﾀﾞﾌﾞﾙ of ﾂｲﾝ, so I can't compare it simply, but my wife here is a large mirror with a lighting lamp (see attached photograph) in ﾃﾞｽｸ You can make up while you sit. There is ｽﾍﾟｰｽ to put small things on the washbasin, and the clothes hanging is closed ﾄﾞｱ, and the clothes are not visible, ﾊﾞｽﾙｰﾑ ｱﾒﾆﾃｲ is POLA, and ﾊﾞｽﾀﾌﾞ can be soaked greatly and relaxed. In the sense of comfort when a woman stays It was priced. Breakfast was ﾚｽﾄﾗﾝ on the first floor, but I don't know because I didn't take it for the convenience of the itinerary.

I stayed in this hotel several times before the epidemic. It is more than ten minutes' drive from Kyoto Station and a small square from JR Kusatsu Station. For people who are tired from a day's travel, it is more convenient than hotels in Kyoto with inconvenient transportation. I chose this hotel again for my first trip to Kansai after the epidemic. I bought a Kansai Wide Area Tour Pass and it is not a problem to stay here and go anywhere. It arrived around 21 o'clock with a plan that can be in from 18:00, and it was in a state that it was not connected unless it called a lot by the phone to the front desk. When I finally thought I was connected, it took a while to confirm the reservation and the waiting time at the entrance was long, so check-in was not smooth. It was the beginning of the year, so I might have been busy, but I wanted you to improve a little more.
The room is neither good nor bad. The bath was a bit small for two people to enter. It is reasonable for the price. The ventilation in the bathroom was not stopped, and it was cold, so I got my throat hurt because the air conditioner was fully operational. I thought it would be nice to have a humidifier.
I think it's a great deal if you use it for a short time, so I think I'll use free time next time ...

It was one of the nicest hotels I stayed at during my recent trip to Japan. Hotel is nearby the train station and has very convenient shopping close by. First three floors of the building are commercial, hotel begins on the 4th Floor reception and higher. Rooms on the floors above require key card to activate elevator upwards so quite secure. Coffee and soft drink machines are available between 1400 and 2200. Rooms are nice. Again separate sink , toilet and shower/bath facilities. Bed was typical and they offered the convertible hard/soft pillow which I supplemented with a towel. Quiet rooms despite being the buses and trains below. Breakfast is available in the bakery below. 3 meal combinations were available though the typical Japanese breakfast needed to be ordered the day before. Huge assortment of pastries and baked goods. Definitely a plus to start the day.

When visiting Kyoto, we wanted to enjoy some time in an onsen resort so we decided to spend two nights in Ogoto Onsen. After checking the details in their website, we booked a ”Biwa no kaze”room with private onsen and view of Lake Biwako. And we were not disappointed. The room looks newly renovated, and is very spacious with two beds and sitting area plus a tatami room. They offer different dinner packages, and we have chosen crab with steak as the main dishes for the first night, and lobster with shabu-shabu the second night. The foods were of very high quality, tasted and looked very nice. The breakfast buffet was very good with a wide selection of different items. The ryokan is excellent in nearly all aspects. We would stay here again when we next visit Kyoto.

The location is located on the height of Yamate in Yukoto Onsen hot spring, and there is an entrance from the national route to the back street, so if you don't pay attention, you will pass by. GGuest UserStayed at Youzanso during late March 2023. It was during the cherry blossom season. We (family of four) had the room with the Lake Otsu view and private bath. The room was sufficient for 4 of us but I wouldn't call it spacious. However, the room and bathroom were clean. The room came with dinner and breakfast for 4 of us and costed about AUD800. The dinner and breakfast was quite good and would recommend to anyone considering the half board. It might get old if u were staying for few days but we were only there for one night. We toured Kyoto for the day and stayed here overnight then went back to kyoto for more sightseeing. It wasn't as convenient as if you stayed in Kyoto but the travel wasn't long or difficult. The property is bit dated and looks more like a hotel than a ryokan. The facilities are clean but also look dated as well. However, the public onsen is great, clean and the outdoor bath is a must. Took this photo of the external bath when no one was present and the ambiance was really something...

GGuest UserIt is an annex where you can stay with your dog. It is separate from the entrance and only customers with dogs, so it is a good place to not be careful. The dog amenities are also substantial, and there is an indoor dock run, so you can take a walk even if the weather is bad. Of particular note is that the food is delicious, so you can bring your dog in a private room. There are many kinds of dog meals, so please do as much as you like. There is a room bath, and the quality of the spring is trotoro and the skin is smooth. I was happy to have free not only drinks in the room lounge but also ice cream in Haagen-Dazs.

GGuest UserStayed the night before to participate in the morning service at Konponchudo. Although it is a temple lodging, it is comfortable with a large communal bath in a hotel-like facility. From the restaurant, you can overlook Lake Biwa and the view is outstanding. The food is vegetarian cuisine, which is good for the body and tastes good, so it is recommended. The rooms are on the Lake Biwa side and the mountain side, and the mountain side is a highlight with dense old trees and autumn leaves. It takes about 5 minutes to Konponchudo. A free shuttle bus is available from Otsukyo Station on the JR Kosei Line. Reservations are required in advance.

I felt the cozy atmosphere, the feeling, and I was very satisfied with the attentive service, delicious food, hot springs and rooms. I stayed in ”Kono” in the room, but it was barrier-free, very clean, large, and the height of the sofa and bed was low and appropriate so that it was safe even if the dog jumped. GGuest UserSuitable for people who want to enjoy summer barbecues and splashing around in the water. There are no restaurants nearby, but there are no shops nearby. There are restaurants one stop away from the JR station. People who need to eat should check beforehand. The bath, toilet and washroom are shared on the first floor. The bed was comfortable, but the room was small. There is no manager on site (perhaps just behind?), so it may be good for people who value privacy. It is better to use it for a large group barbecue or similar, rather than staying as a regular hotel.
