The hotel is well placed, away from the hustle-bustle of the bazaar. It's calm and the rooms are maintained fairly well. The room that we got was quite spacious. The restaurant served very good food and the variety was also impressive. The staff were quick and responsive (though they expect a tip). My recommendation would be to ask for a room on the higher floors. We got a room on the ground floor and so there was no great view. Also, our room was adjacent to their kitchen and so we had to deal with lot of noise from the kitchen. The hotel helped us get union cabs for local sightseeing and you can hire pony right at the entrance of the hotel.

I ***** with my wife stayed at The Pahalgam Hotel in June 1979 to celebrate our honeymoon. We had very fond memories of our stay with Showman Raj Kapoor & the entire team of movie Love Story too staying there. This time, we were very pleased to note that this hotel has maintained their services as well as their rooms remarkably well. The entire atmosphere, scenic views & ambience have rekindled our memories & made our stay most pleasurable. The Food variety as well as its quality has been excellent. The supporting staff is most courteous. Taking into account all the parameters including its heritage type existence, I can safely state that this hotel is undoubtedly the best place to stay in Pahalgam. Today we check out from this hotel with heavy hearts

We booked this place looking at all the reviews and excellent home environment stay and food. Irshad was very welcoming on the phone, when we booked the place and also when we were travelling on the day towards Pahalgam. The place itself is approx 2.5 kms from the main market and the walk to and fro is quite charming. But if you have senior citizens or children it can get tiring for them if you do not have a vehicle with you. The place doesn't have a direct mountain view but some rooms will give you a partial view. We had booked a family room and it was exactly the way it is shown in the pics. It was just our misfortune that it rained heavily in the evenings for both the days that we were in Pahalgam. To add to this we landed on the eve of Id, so all the staff was on leave and Irshad was the lone person attending to our needs. So never got to taste any lunch or dinner. The breakfast though came both the days. For food/tea in the evening we had to depend on a Dhaba just nearby. While there were enough blankets provided by Irshad, the room was very cold through out the stay. There was unfortunately no provision for electric heater or electric blanket . Perhaps we should have asked these questions before booking. So overall an average stay. However this has got nothing to do with Irshad's abilities. He is a fine young *** trying to manage the show with limited manpower in those 2 days.

I stayed with my wife for 5 days starting June 27, 2022, to cover Pahalgam sightseeing and subsequently take up Amarnath Yatra. The owner staff Sareer Ahmed & Nayeem Ahmed were very helpful in arranging transportation ensuring it is economical for us. Also, they cheerfully met our small requests making it a very pleasant stay. Though there is no restaurant, they have a kitchen wherein they met our request for morning/evening tea and other food items. The other staff were also very friendly & obliging. When we left for yatra, they kept our luggage safe until our return. Overall we enjoyed our stay at New Snow View Resort, Overall, the facility is quite ok for budget conscious.

I m writing this review just after leave hotel yesterday and i realize my DSLR was missing. Immediately call to manager Mr. OWAIS and i informed him accidentally i drop my DLSR at reception sofa corner.. They cross check and reply with yes it is here... The next day Hotel Manager Mr.OWAIS make arrangement to drop my DLSR from pahalgam to srinagar and same next day i received the same... This is i call service & honestly of hotel staff. Food service: all food arrangement was quite goof for being veg family.... Breaker have wide variety & same as dinner. All service maintain by Mr.Mommand Amin & staff.. My child like him most in hotel. We are at garden near 6:30pm we thought let have tea... We infomed Mr.Amin for tea. He is ready to served even it ROZA opening time 6:45 pm and serve at garden area... This is really appreciated approch by him.. So impressed. Hotel construction is very big and location is best.. Morning walk is best surround hotel area.....
