Great location right by the entrance to Khao Yai National Park. Also many surrounding restaurants and cafes. The double bed that we got was big and comfortable. Room and bathroom are clean but a little dusty. Due to the surrounding nature, there were mosquitoes, just don’t leave the door open. Swimming pool is small but could be enough for kids. Dinner at the restaurant was nice! Their signature cocktails were good. And there was entertainment on a Saturday night - live music, bingo and fire show.

First time to Khao Yai and happy we chose this resort. Do note, there are two resorts in this location, which can be a little confusing - Muthi Maya and Kiri Maya. Kiri Maya, it appears, is mostly geared towards folks staying at the golf course on the premises. We stayed in a Forest Pool Villa room, which was absolutely incredible. Every villa is nestled away from the main traffic at the resort and was very private. The room itself was very large, including a ridiculously huge bathroom complete with oversized soaking tub. The beds were comfortable and large, with fresh linens and medium/soft pillows. The main attraction was obviously the private pool, measuring in at around 7 meters by 3 meters. Unfortunately, given the fact that we came in January, the water was pretty frigid, so we only managed a very brief dip. That said, there's ample space, lounge chairs, and a large outdoor sofa to simply relax in. Service was exceptional from check-in to check-out. The staff was friendly and helpful, and if you speak English, also bi-lingual. We never ordered room service or ate at the on-site restaurant, but did enjoy the large breakfast buffet. While maybe not as diverse as a big Bangkok area breakfast buffet, the spread was still impressive - fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, egg station, boiled rice, dim sum selections, along with some staple Thai dishes like fried rice, boiled rice, and more. There are quite a few on-site food options, including being able to have a private chef and BBQ at your villa, or a special mookata BBQ with various different kinds of set menus. However, the prices, as expected, are pretty high. There are a TON of local food options in the area, including some exceptionally tasty (and cheap) Thai restaurants just a short drive away. One interesting attraction was the Forest of Illusion, a short on-site self-guided walking tour on the grounds. Starting at 6 PM, you can walk a short path around the resort complemented by fun lights, laser displays, and more. For some reason, this season's theme is Snoopy and Peanuts, which did seem a bit odd. Do note, the Forest of Illusion does cost 350 Baht per person, which is steep. It was mitigated by a small 10% discount for being a resort guest, but overall I'm not sure the value is really there to justify such a high price. Overall, our experience here was great and we're already planning another visit next year, perhaps during the low season to better take advantage of the pool!

Overall stay is beyond expectations. The view from the parking, entrance, lobby, walkaway were breathtaking. And the room is remarkable. We stayed in Villa 3. We were served by a butler named Boom Bim. She’s very beautiful, friendly & helpful. The best part, the hotel prepared halal food specially for us. The foods were very delicious & yummy. Thank you chef Som Chai. Happy & satisfied!

Beautiful setting. We booked the room with the upper floor, all nice and well-equipped with everything we need for our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Few points that we think the resort could take into their account to improve. 1. The pool area is really nice, except the beach bar and their music choices. I think they are trying to make it look like a fun beach bar but instead, look very cheap and out of the setting. Their music playlist is a crime. There were about 10 songs and they kept playing in the loop. If you cannot put together some nice and chill playlist (all covered song, not even the real artists), rather just don't play it at all. 2. Towels were run out at the pool area, we had to ask 3 times (within 1.5 hour) to get towels. There were no other guests at the pool area….just two of us. Not sure why they took so much time to get towels…. In my opinion, whoever responsible for the pool area should take more attention to improve it. 3. The seating in the room’s balcony had lots of dust.

I was here for a few days. It’s quite a lovely place and the facility and the staff are great. Just a few things to be aware of when choosing to book here: The rooms are spacious. Mattress is medium soft/hard. The buffet breakfast is plentiful and well serviced but it’s quite limited after a few days. The pool area is lovely as is the garden area but it needs updating. I’d advise you to check your room for hot water and mold before you settle in. The room safes are not secured to the wall so someone could, technically, take it out of the room and break open. My room, A318, had no hot water at all. I did talk to the desk staff about it and they tried to get it fixed eventually telling me it was fixed but it was always cold. I don’t need or expect hot water in Asia (I live in Thailand) but cold water kinda sucks in a shower. They offered to move me to a different room but I declined. There were spotty areas of mold in my room - be careful of that too. The hotel is a bit tired, especially the grounds and some of the furnishings and fixtures - it could all use a facelift and refresh. I did enjoy my time here and will consider returning but I will definitely be more careful about the room. They have a published water conservation policy posted in the rooms but it’s not followed at all. As per the policy, I hung my towels on the rack so they wouldn’t be washed. I came back and had new towels. When I informed them of the hot water situation they told me the engineer said to run the shower water for 10 minutes to get it hot. Odd? You betcha! So much for conservation and environmental awareness. Nonetheless, it’s good medium priced small hotel worth giving a try.

The hotel is quite far but that is not a bad thing if one wants to be cut off from the rest of the world and have a relaxing time…. We booked the penthouse suite which came with 2 bedrooms, living room, balcony, private pool and jacuzzi… The view of the lakes, and Khao Yai in general from this level is simply stunning. Beside eating at the hotel, there is also a Thai eatery outside the hotel ground about 2 minutes' walk away. Breakfast with the view of the serene lakes, the greenery and mountain backdrop is just amazing… one can watch the sunset from the back and sunrise rom the front of the hotel as well…. Mattress was firm so we had really good restful sleep here. The hotel managed to get us a private pickup with driver for the entire day to visit Khao Yai stopping at waterfall, watching wild deers and monkeys along the way... there are many places of interest nearby for all ages... winery, go kart, zoo, etc Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here… Would definitely come back again…

The hotel is built on a large area and has a very interesting architecture. You enter through the parking garage, upstairs is a friendly reception. The room numbers are confusing, it takes some time to understand the system. The room is nice and big with an extra sofa, a balcony, a modern trendy bathroom with bath and there is a fridge. One side of the bed has no nightstand. At the end of the area is the restaurant and the swimming pool. The pool is very big and circles around a central area. It is 1.20m deep. It is very quiet (aside from loud guests from time to time) and there are many places to sit, lie and relax. The restaurant has a great menu of Thai and western dishes. The food is very good and the prices are reasonable. The steak was great and the pizza also nice and thin with good topping. Service is with attention to detail. So far so good. Back in the room, wanting to relax a bit with the remainder of the wine we were exposed to the thumping bass of music from a party at least 100 meters away. Extremely irritating to a point that I had to leave the room and go for a walk. The noise came from a small restaurant on the main road with just a few visitors. It could be heard hundreds of meters down the road and also in the pool area. No escape. I don’t directly blame the hotel for this, but they should contact their neighbors and ask for some consideration. At half the volume it is still more than loud enough for the dancers. It went on till well after 10 pm. After that you can hear some traffic, so I would recommend to ask for a room farther from the road, the second building row. A place where I have to leave my room cannot score high on my come-back list. Unless of course the issue is solved. What a pity that in such a nice place the fun of a small group can affect the guests of 72 rooms in this hotel alone.

We booked online using Govt promo and we got very good deal and main we choose this hotel as its not too far away from eatery and attractions. Reservations and front have been helpful. We got food coupons worth of 800 bht to be used in the hotel at the time of check in which can only be used at restaurants and for food and non alcoholic drinks only. Hotel only has 1 restaurant with very limited choices. Nothing much and breakfast spread is very limited and its nearly same all the days. So food really need improvement in this property besides that every thing was good. Housekeeping were very sweet and did all the set up and arranged complimentary cake for his birthday and also followed our time changing. Room service were quick. I think spa was closed due to covid precautions. Our stay was pleasant one. Pet friendly hotel and many had brought their dogs with them. Deluxe rooms ( we stayed in this room type ) are spacious and they have interconnected rooms for families with children. Rooms and amenities are well maintained. Modern hotel !!! They have rock climbing, rabbit n alpacas for children to enjoy with additional fee. Recommended this property if you are not serious or fussy with food.

Mooi resort gemoedelijke sfeer.

My trip ended since September 2021, at that time when i checked out of the hotel, i thought i would give them 1 star, or even 0 star if having, but i was convinced myself of being calm to go back later for unbiased reviews, and until today it's a pity to say that I can't still give them more than 2 stars after everything we had experienced in Toscana Hotel La Casetta. At the beginning I discussed so clearly with the booking staff that my husband and I wanted to book their room for 2 weeks for our anniversary vacation. They offered me a cheaper room under 50 square meters but I refused. I chose the ” nicer and larger ”, accepted to pay more with hope we would have a great trip. I sent some pictures of the room and they 100% confirmed that we would be accommodated in that kind of room. But finally, in reality we wouldn't. The very first night when we checked in, I was so disappointed that I didn't even want to unpack my stuffs because the room was different from what we saw in the photos. They claimed this room type was for 4 people but really for 2 of us it was not enough, 1 wardrobe was so old and small, my husband had to put his clothes on the extra bed. There was only 1 sink which was so small and dirty while in the picture it should be 2 separate sinks. Toilet, shower very old and extremely dirty. The mezzanine of the room was lack of sofa, completely not the same which what we wanted to book and pay for. We arrived at the hotel when their restaurant was closed, there was no microwave in the room and the surroundings were quiet. We were forced to eat cold food that we brought with and that night I had a stomach ache because of that. The next day I had to call the manager asking him to take us to the correct room that we booked, they cooperated, and it turned out to be an even worse room with a very bad air conditioner, noisy like a plow, I think I've read a few comments here from another guests about the noise of the AC also. They even knew that and arranged a fan just in case, but sorry we didnt spend money to use the fan, right? After discussing again, my husband said we couldnt get the money back anyway, then try to stay and make the room better. We decided to ” help them to help us ”, clean and rearrange the room with the aim of trying to enjoy our vacation together. We went to the supermarket to buy dishes, cutlery, napkins, garbage bags... Honestly I was not satisfied at all but tried to bear it. A few days later, I called their restaurant to order room service. I asked for pad Thai, and extra onion. It was so stupid that the restaurant staff who spoke English pretty well didn't understand what oinion was, she told me ” im sorry Madam i dont know what onion meant ”. I got angry and canceled the order. The last time was at noon when I had an urgent matter to contact the reception, I called the front desk 8 times, called the manager's number 3 times, both by the phone installed in the room and by the mobile phone, calling them contin

HhelloandsmileIt was a wonderful experience at U Khao Yai. The hotel feels like a place in fairytale. Service was excellent and they really took into consideration all your needs. The view was also amazing from the room. We will definitely come back again!
MMouseyPros: service is definitely top notch and very attentive to each family and consistently asking for feedback… Housekeeping is everyday and the WhatsApp communicate is a 👍 idea especially for tourist. Food is wonderful as they are served hot and minimise wastage, coffee definitely hit the spot!
No crowds at all and the place is really pretty sight with a lot of swans and fishes and bicycles to rent ( probably have some baby seats too)
Places are a little far away but buggy service was available.
Cons:
being a tropical hotel definitely will be expecting some insects but definitely not expecting so much mosquitoes from level 1. Daughter was bitten 4 times for a 2 hours nap and at least in total 5 bites from mosquitoes for each members.. we have feedback several times to the staff and they really do something which we appreciate a lot 🙏 but honestly we hope more can be done on the maintaining the hotel given it is a 5 stars hotel
We were given a private pool but it is full of bird ****s which we didn’t really expect. Since we r not using the pool and outdoor area, we didn’t feedback.
In the end we didn’t use the pool and outdoor area due to the bird ****s and mosquitoes.
Location is a little far away from some of the known attractions places.. which I missed out during planning
Probably need to be prepared with what nature will bring us..
OOne n OnlyEverything very new, very clean.
Staff are very nice and very friendly.
Highly recommend.
Near minivan , train station to, from Bangkok.
Can rent scooter from hostel, if run out, there are scooters rental near by.
It has roof top bar, very nice breakfast canteen..however there is no cooking facilities, but no need to do any cooking, because Thai food are so good and so cheap.
There is a night food market just right across the road, many street food and restaurants near by.
Good place to stay before heading to Khao Yai.
Hostel is in centre of Pak Chong, there is a very big Chinese temple near by, where people practices Tai Ji every evening.
Big C and Lotus is not far away can go there to do shopping and, or eating in nice food court there.
Be aware of riding scooter and safety especially to the Dam, which have to ride on free way with cars and trucks all running at 100+ km/ hour, if renting a 125 cc scooter would be unsafe on fast free way, where there are motorbike lands too, but unpredictable safety on bike land, eg rocks or slippery sand, pot holes or sometimes truck or cars just parking on these land. And very dangerous and unsafe to make U turn with little scooter which has not enough power to change land in on running very fast traffic. Those no experience with riding scooter should just join tours for your own safety.
People in Pak Chong are very nice and friendly.

The accommodations at Baan Kampu are equally impressive. The room was big offering a blend of modern comforts and country charm. The serene ambiance of the property, combined with the lush greenery surrounding it, provided a peaceful retreat from the bustling city life.
The location also very to 7e . So it was so easy to find food even at night
GGuest UserThe best of our vacation at Khao Yai this time must be given to Sala Khao Yai, the new zone. It is a minimalist accommodation with soft tone control, unique design, lined up on a 360 degree hill in a private tropical atmosphere, suitable for inviting girlfriends to come in the most suite. The main highlight Must give Infinity Pool, a large swimming pool on a high hill, 360 degree view without blocking. Can come and watch during the sunrise and sunset, wow! Our room is One Bedroom Pool Villa Onsen Suite, I must say that there are only 4 rooms in this zone, which is beyond description. The villa is located on the hillside with sunrise view. that is very romantic Inside the room large bed There is a tub to soak in the room. Spacious bathroom divided into dry and wet zones. A with His and Her washbasin, a good size villa swimming pool There is a pavilion for us to enjoy the Out door atmosphere and that cannot be missed. Soak in a private onsen tub with a view of the mountain, Panorama Sala Hilltop Restaurant, an All Day Dining restaurant that serves a variety of food. For both Western menus, Thai traditional Thai food, flavor to curry paste. and includes A la cart breakfast or you can order to eat in the villa as well.
GGuest UserOverall, our stay at the Mövenpick Resort was one of the highlights of our trip to Khao Yai.
It was quite an adventure to drive there, but such a delight when we arrived.
The room was spacious, clean, and well-decorated. It felt like we were staying at a castle.
While the pool is not huge, it has outdoor and sheltered parts.
GGuest UserBack in its heyday this place must have been the Francophile owner’s Versailles, even today it looks grand despite the crumbling buildings, potholed roads, and overgrown garden. Highly recommend to stay at the new residences wing at the back, which are very new. It’s a short walk to the open air breakfast area. The main resort buildings are in a pitiful state and seem to have squatters in them, seeing from the laundry hung outside. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment complete with kitchen & living room in the Bellevue building, which was really nice & big. Only complaint was the phone in the deserted lobby kept ringing non-stop until I took matters in my own hands and took the receiver off the line. Later someone put the receiver back and it started ringing again, this time I unplugged the line but discreetly left it under the phone so no one can tell.
GGuest UserA really good way to stay… the idea is fantastic and we felt like we owned the place.. limited people staying due to Covid pandemic, however rooms/tents were always spotlessly clean. Basic room set up with one king and one single bed per tent that really works, plenty of Space and each tent has its own balcony decking area. So each family can have its own space. Plenty of amenities towels always refreshed, air conditioning work really well and the shower were hot on demand so no issues at, with reasonable selection for breakfast and an honest team. We had left some items in the room when we checked out and immediately we were called. A peaceful relax and a change from the norm would go back and also try their other sites too Thank you
PPinkozxcThe room, view + food was amazing & great - no doubt.
However, their service and cleanliness (especially about the sofa beds) seems to be seriously lacking. And it seems like dogs tend to stay here too. Which is highly concerning that they don't clean up the rooms properly. I've been having bed bugs/ticks on my clothes/body throughout 5 days now as I'm travelling from place to place. As if an invisible bug keeps biting me non stop. A rookie mistake was to sit on the sofa bed and then the real bed (which was incredibly soft and the 4 pillows were amazingly soft and smooth too) but all this went down the drain cause I cannot remove the bug anymore. It's constantly with me since it's infected all of my clothes too. I'll always end up with a scar/bite on my body. It sux. I told the staff about this and she simply gave me an awkward smile. This was disappointing. I believe they have to train their staff better together with maintaining the pest control for a better stay in future... also the place is super crazy dark at night.... no lights whatsoever into the hotel... pretty scary and that's the only thing about the location. You do need a car. Else, it's almost impossible.
They have a hairdryer here for you and everything is laid out once you're there. There is a boiler for you too. The amenities are much appreciated.
Aam HoOverall stay is pleasant even though there was some unhappiness when we arrived.
Counter told us they did not receive my booking. It was a total surprise and shock. They tried calling Trip and told us they couldn't check us in.
Imagine a total of 11 pax sitting at the lobby feeling tired but couldn't rest in their rooms.
Finally they got the green light from trip.
Breakfast was good. It was pre order so we just has to inform them what we want.
The counter staff Rose was very helpful at the breakfast. My friend's room had a big spider on the wall but by the time the staff came it crawled into the aircon vent. Arghh quite scary actually...
Despite all these it was a pleasant stay in Splendid hotel.
The places of interest on our first day were near one other. Our last stop before the hotel was just 5 to 8 mins drive.
However no 7-11 nearby but they have a vending machine for chips and other snacks.
The rooms are spacious. Cleanliness acceptable. No stained bedsheets or dirty towels etc.
