A lovely little hidden gem that my haband and i have had the pleasureof staying for the last 4 days. The hotel is walkable distance to lots of the tourist attractions and the train station. The staff are fantastic, and seem to really care about making your experience as enjoyable as possible. Everything from booking taxis and table reservations. They are on hand to help. Breakfast is in abundance with so much of their locally saurced items like their pie and canoli. And it's yummy! The beds are very comfortable and the hotel is very funky and unique. There is a nice touch of a welcome basket and the self service water tap. There are some parts of the building that are origional behind glass, that absolutely adds to the character. The spa is lovely and the massages are fantastic. I highly recommend getting one. You can really feel the that the owners heart has gone into this building. It's a truly lovely hotel that I would return to over and over again. Thank you for a fantastic stay. X

My wife and I chose this hotel for our 8th year wedding anniversary stay and was nothing short of remarkable. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service. The location couldn’t have been more perfect—right in the heart of Palermo, close to Palermo Cathedral and Norman Castle. The train station is only a 5-minute walkaway, approximately 30-minute journey to airport. The room was a taste of the island's history and comfort, spotlessly clean and well-equipped with all the amenities one could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was a feast with a variety of breads, cheese, ham, croissants, fruit, and yoghurts. The staff went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sicily —it's truly a home away from home.

We stayed with a group of 5 here for 4 nights and had two different rooms for our group. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel!! The breakfast (included) is great and plenty of food. The staff here are wonderful, attentive and help you with ANYTHING you need. We needed help with a variety of taxis and the owner took us to a local store to get items we needed. The hospitality here is amazing and outshines any place I’ve ever stayed at. The location is great, rooms were clean and very spacious, great restaurants within a few feet of the hotel, I 100% recommend this stay!! This by far has been my favorite hotel I have ever stayed at and we will definitely be returning!! A Must stay!

We stayed there for one night in the Junior Suite, having read the amazing reviews and paid 305€ for the night, we expected more than we got. The first room was a double-floor maisonette, without any seating besides actual bed and a single chair which looked like it had never been cleaned, two single-beds were standing right next to the door, looking more like tables someone threw a mattress on . Upon our request, the very friendly receptionist gave us another room which looked a bit more clean and welcoming, however the furniture and everything else in the room just screams old & outdated. It would all be fine if we had not payed such an exorbitant price. Breakfast is big, yes. Hotel is quirky and has some neat interior design choices, yes. Staff is very friendly, yes. Is it worth the price? No, not at all. We felt a bit like dumb tourists who fell into a trap.

This place is an over-priced hostel. Not even close to a boutique luxury hotel. We "splurged" to stay here on our last night and were horrified. First of all, the stench. The whole place smells like sewage masked by cleaning products and air fresheners. Second, the room. They are trying to be quirky, I get it. However the room was nothing like the room category I thought I had booked (and paid almost $400/night for). There was supposed to be 2 separate sleeping areas with AC. They only had it set up as 1 sleeping area, and only 1 AC worked. Upon notifying an employee and asking for a different room, I was told that her shift was about to end and she could not transfer us rooms (even though when looking online there were many unsold rooms that they could have moved us to). She said there was no management or owner I could speak to. Trying to sleep through the heat and stench with a lack of AC was unbearable. There was also no windows. Third, the pool. It is not in the "hotel", but down a smelly, fly infested alleyway into another building courtyard. The pool itself reeked of chlorine and looked dirty. It was a sweltering day so we decided to get in anyway. The water was unpleasantly hot, it felt like taking a bath in bleach. Fourth, the staff. 2 of the 3 employees we encountered were rude and 1 was downright hostile. Fifth, the amenities. There are none. There are no basic services like ice machine, employee to help with luggage, overnight staff, minibar (just an empty mini fridge that didn't work). Certainly no amenities that a proper boutique hotel would have like bathrobes, decent towels, a proper place to hang clothing and store belongings, room service, cafe/restaurant/bar (or even a vending machine!) not even a seating area in or outside the room. The breakfast room can only be described as an over decorated cafeteria that smells of sewer. I have actually stayed at hostels that were more pleasant and accommodating than this place.
