Protur Naisa Palma Hotel
4.5/542 Reviews
The hotel is strategically located, a quiet place in the middle of the hustle and bustle, not far from the bar corridor and commercial street, and not far from the seaside. The reception at the hotel's front desk is warm, the interior decoration is modern, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is rich.
Hotel Joan Miró Museum
4.2/560 Reviews
The whole experience in this hotel was excellent even with small disturbance of Spanish ”hen party group” who partied till morning. The staff was really friendly and absolutely helpful, nothing was a big problem, special thanks goes to the receptionists Rosa, Mira and Ester. Also breakfast was great and staff was friendly and helpful. The room was good too, we had the basic but we managed to get the one with a good view. It was nice to have a balcony. We used the pool few times. There was always spare sun bed. The pool is great for swimming, it's probably 20m long. There is lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance and small beaches too. They do free shuffle to the beach and to Palma city centre once every morning which was very helpful.
BQ Augusta Hotel
4.2/556 Reviews
The hotel is a very comfortable hotel, clean and with details that are thankful, such as parkers, doortops and a lot of pumps, as well as a large and comfortable bed. Extra Amenities on order. Breakfast buffet. Parking facilities in the area, at least in Santa Semana. Good location to know the island and 10 minutes by car from the center of Palma. Certainly very recommended!
Hotel Basilica
4.8/546 Reviews
Wow, wow, wow…. What a peaceful and serene hotel to stay in, right in the historical centre of Palma. Overlooking the Basilica de Sant Francesc and so close to the Cathedral, train station, beach and promenade, all within a 10-15 minute walk through the picturesque streets. So close and yet so quiet. The team here are one of the best we’ve had the pleasure of staying with. They go above and beyond in everything they do to make your stay a memorable one. From Blanca, Javier and Miguel in front desk, through the kitchen staff and housekeeping. Nothing is too much trouble and it’s all done with genuine pleasure and desire to make your stay a perfect one. It’s the little touches that make this place, one of the best… From the welcome drink in the inner courtyard, a perfect way to decompress from your journey. To the inclusive mini bar in your room with Molten Brown toiletries, pool towels and a pillow menu… The plunge pool on the rooftop with an honest bar and if you want wine or sangria it’s brought up to you. They have great recommendations and tips for restaurant and things to do, thanks for the advice Blanca on getting the train and tram to Soller. Plenty of choices for breakfast with a hot and cold buffet and you can order pancakes and omelettes. And then don’t forget the choice of local pastries as well. Fancy a day on the beach, they have you covered with beach umbrellas and towels, a nice touch. If you are looking for somewhere in Palma you won’t go wrong with staying here. We’ll be back and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
Boutique Hotel Posada Terra Santa
4.8/542 Reviews
Posada Terra Santa exceeded our expectations! Wow! This hotel is in the old town of Palma (PERFECT location), so you need very specific instructions from them if you're driving. A front desk person actually met us on foot a few blocks away so they could help guide us to the parking garage for our car. This hotel was renovated recently and is sooo beautiful. I believe the building itself dates back to the 1500s. It is sooo charming! Everyone working there is very nice and helpful..we really felt at home. So many beautiful touches around the hotel. The rooftop pool is small, but a nice place to relax on a hot afternoon. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a mix of buffet and made to order items. They even have an ”honor bar” where you can make your own drinks and write down what you drank. Old Town Palma is so beautiful and charming and Posada Terra Santa is where you should stay. It's so charming, so beautiful, so well decorated/designed, and the people there are so nice. We will definitely be back!
Belle Marivent Mediterranean Petit Hotel
4.5/544 Reviews
We were excited to stay at Belle Marivent while we were in Majorca for a wedding but sadly - overall - we were left disappointed. Firstly, the positives - the reception area is gorgeous, and almost lulls you into a false sense of security. Smells lovely and looks lovely and actually Lucia on reception was really great. The rooftop pool is also great, albeit extremely small with barely anywhere to sunbathe. The hotel itself just gives the overall feel it is very understaffed and is doing anything it can to save money. The rooms are crammed into an extremely tiny area - your sink is practically at your bedside, there is no bathroom per se but just tiny rooms of a shower and a toilet. Breakfast is really awful. All three mornings they had 'run out of yoghurt because it went off'. With a supermarket down the road, they could have easily replaced this. There was only one waiter in the room on each morning. This meant the (extremely limited) buffet frequently ran out, and was not replaced unless you got up and walked to the kitchen/bar area to ask the waiter/waitress to replace it. The jugs of water were empty for around 15 minutes which was really frustrating. When ordering a hot breakfast prepare to wait 20 minutes for it to come, even if there is literally no one else in the restaurant. Another shocking moment was when I called reception and asked for a small jug of fresh milk to have with my self made coffee from the coffee machine in our room, as I really dislike the tiny long-life milk pods. I was told sorry there is no fresh milk. I asked whether I could just be brought some from the kitchen - to be told that the restaurant is not in fact connected to the hotel at all. Just found this baffling, as I've never ever been refused some fresh milk at a hotel before. The coffee cups in our room were also dusty and unclean. Lastly, while the man on reception and Lucia were great, the cleaning staff were extremely rude. We were getting ready for a wedding that started at 2pm so naturally we were showering/getting ready at 11am. The cleaners repeatedly banged on our doors insisting they needed to come in. When we said we needed another 20 mins or so, we were met with eye rolls and sighs. I understand it must be frustrating as they have a schedule, but it is also a very small hotel. All in all, I would say the Belle Marivent is absolutely not worth the price we paid. A few glimmers of greatness but overall a disappointment.
