We booked Nou Balares as as part of a Jet2 City Break. This hotel is absolutely superb, it is well located, and immaculately clean and tidy, but one of the best things are the staff. A special ‘thank you’ goes out to reception who went out of their way to provide us with information on everything from where to find a pharmacy on New Year’s Day, to opening the lift on New Year’s Eve, so we could all go on the roof and watch the fireworks. Breakfast, though a slightly limited menu, was delicious and freshly cooked every time. The small courtyard is a lovely sheltered place to have coffee and a snack and the food in the restaurant very tasty at reasonable cost. An excellent powerful shower and everything you need, in your room with nothing you don’t need. The hotel represents excellent value for money, particularly if you are budget conscious. 10 out of 10 !

we chose melia palma bay because it was close to the beach. we had a very comfortable family room (2bedrooms 2bathrooms). everyday we asked reception for beach towels and headed to the beach which was 5 min walk away. we either stayed on the towels on the beach or rented beds from Assaona beach club (amazing food). another convenient feature was a bus stop in front of the hotel which takes you straight into the city centre/shopping area in less than 5 minutes. i never figured out where the bus stop back was so we ended up circling the whole city on the bus on the way back. special shoutout to staff at reception - thank you, you were so so nice and helped with everything!!!

Absolutely outstanding experience. Stayed for 4 nights - Mon-Fri in June in Room 107 and booked directly. Requested low floor as read previously long wait with the lift (9 floors one lift). It was perfect never having to wait for the lift. We had complimentary bubbles, mini bar, welcome drinks and nice surprise with outside terrace. Room is very clean. I never walk around hotel room bare foot but had no issues this time. Room is spacious, bed is sooooo comfy! Air con temperature and air flow is perfect and bathroom is very spacious, lots of room around the sink. Note no single use toiletries, if you need anything like I did with shower cap, just ask at Reception. Staff are all attentive and polite. Wifi is very easy to connect and never disconnects or signal issues. I understand what others have said about the breakfast / does lack variety but has all the staples. Never a queue for anything at he breakfast bar. Tip with the cappuccino - add an extra expresso shot for oomph. Turkish bath/jacuzzi was a nice touch but no swimming pool. Art is personal taste and yes the corridors had a black theme not to everyone’s taste but just in and out the hallways. Enjoyed the lounge area on Floor E - great for people watching and relaxing with a drink. Also, the A1 to airport is opposite the hotel (5 second walk). Journey takes 25 minutes. It takes 15 mins to walk to main station for bus/train or generally around 20 minutes within the city. The big department store is 5 mins away (huge supermarket in the basement), 15 mins to the cathedral. Made it in 30 mins or so to the City Beach. Very convenient. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and would stay here again and any other HM Hotel branch. Thank you for an amazing stay!

This was our first time in Mallorca! We were very pleased that we chose AluaSoul Hotel for our 5 days! The hotel was very clean and well situated with lots of restaurants, shops and relaxation to suit your needs. The staff were amazing... Firstly, we rented a car for a day. They arranged everything for us. Plus the rental car company they use (Royal Rental) was not only the best price, their service was excellent. The breakfast buffet had a good selection and definitely left full! We chose to eat dinner twice at the hotel. They have theme nights for the menu of the buffet. This too was very tasty and not overly priced (25Epp). Each night the had live entertainment. This was hit and miss.. Not the best we've experienced. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel!!

I can’t tell you how much I loved this hotel. We arrived on a busy Wednesday lunchtime - the gentleman that checked us in was so completely lovely and friendly and took the time to tell us all that we needed to know about the hotel. One of our two rooms was ready early, which was so appreciated as we had been up since 12 the night before, they had also allocated two rooms together which was fabulous as I was travelling with my daughters. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the beds comfortable. You also get the mini bar free on the first day which is great. Everyone we encountered at the hotel was lovely and friendly and had a smile. The lady who greeted us at breakfast was lovely, the breakfast restaurant isn’t huge but it absolutely has everything needed and the food was all fresh. The guys on the bar that we met at the end of the day when we came back tired from exploring Palma were so lovely, they made the most fabulous cocktails and even recommended which one my daughter should try. I would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat . It is in a fabulous location and it’s immaculately clean. A fabulous 48 hours in Palma/thank you so much 💫

This hotel is located near the port of Palma city center, but it is on the mountain. It doesn't matter if we travel by car, but it is a bit inconvenient for hikers. The whole hotel building feels old but the room can be clean. The dry and wet separation is very good. There is a balcony downstairs pool is the highlight of the hotel. There are massage pillars and seats in the pool. There is also a small pool for children and it is equipped with parasols and lounge chairs. Going forward, there is also a large observation deck with a good view. In short, the price is not bad.

This was our third stay at Apolo . Unfortunately our stay was cut short by a day due to the French ATC strike . We had EJ flights and there were no flights available back to Bristol for 4 days, we managed to get flights with BA back to Heathrow the day before the strike began, which did make our holiday quite costly. We enjoyed our stay very much , the breakfast & evening meals are very good , although as a previous reviewer had said the food is not always very hot , but a lot of choices available both for breakfast & evening dinner. We had a pool/sea view room that I had requested on the 5th floor. I also asked if we could have a kettle and it was in our room on our arrival. The rooms are not very big and storage is limited, only one drawer with hanging space above . The bathroom with a shower, which was a little small, but there was a window to open. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the hotel is kept very clean. The food in the snack bar at lunch time is also very good. We choose to stay at the hotel due to its short taxi trip €15 from the airport and our previous holidays . If & when we return for any future holidays we would not hesitate to stay at Apolo . Great hotel, loads of facilities, great location (I think 5-10 min from airport by car/taxi and same distance walking to the beach). Tbh I normally dont do reviews, not bads not good reviews, I am too lazy for that lol, but this hotel really deserves a good review. I went on my own and just 4 nights so I was a little bit hesitant because I didnt want to feel awkward so I looked for an hotel that has everything and they had it, from the staff that all of them were so friendly and helpful (I felt even spoiled), the location, the food ( buffets for breakfast and dinner with lots of variety and different themes of food very night for dinner), the facilities (2 jacuzzi, sauna, 3 pools) and the entertainment were excellent, I definitely will go again but with family and I will stay at least for a week

HM Balanguera is a good hotel. It's located in a relatively calm street, with no much traffic. It's not in the very center of the city of Palma, but nevertheless the distance between the two points concerned isn't too long, and going on foot from one to the other turns up a nice walk. The hotel is very well decorated, particularly the lobby. It's very cosy thanks to being decorated with much taste. The breakfast room is somewhat special, There is a big table in the middle, at which all the guests having breakfast sit down and talk between themselves should the occasion arise. It's a nice way to associate with other people. The weak point as regards this room is that it's close to the kitchen, both rooms communicating with each other through a door. Most of time the door is open so that one can hear the yelling of the women working at the hotel. I used to close the door but it was again opened and thus we had to bear the said disturbance again. Another nuisance is the awful music played at breakfast time. Once I asked the receptionist kindly to reduce its volume. He was more than kind to stop the music completely, for which I was very grateful to him. The breakfast, by the way, is very good and abundant. Everything is of an excellent quality except the orange juice, which tastes too bad as to doubt on its artificial nature. The bedroom is quite peaceful and comfortable. I had a good stay at the hotel thanks to that. I hardly heard any noise while in the room. The bed is very comfy, it having a mattress with the right toughness for ensuring a good rest. And in the room there is everything needed for satisfying the necessities of the guests. I asked for a kettle and they kindly provided me with one. The staff members are all very kind and helpful. They do at every moment whatever possible to ensure that the guests feel as well as possible during their stay at the hotel. The hotel concerned is therefore a good place to stay in Palma de Mallorca, and one I would absolutely recommend to everyone wishing to have a pleasant and relaxing stay on the island.
