Cet hôtel est bien place et le lit est comfortable. Mais le personnel à l'arrivée n'est pas au courant des réservations et des payments. On doit toujours justifier que la chambre est prépayée.

Room was very small, difficult to open 2 large suitcases together. Hotel is close to Orly airport. It's a little far from the city Centre but can be reached there in public transport. The street is pretty lively. Hotel doesn't have too many veg options.

Das Zimmer selbst schien (zumindest zuerst) einigermaßen okay zu sein, aber das täuscht. Zwar dunkel und sehr schmal, der Schreibtisch so winzig, dass gerade mal der Laptop draufpasst - aber in Paris kann man eh nicht viel erwarten, außer man investiert extrem viel Geld. Der Preis ist allerdings hier auch sehr hoch: mehr als 250 € für eine Person ohne Frühstück. Dass der Safe nicht funktioniert, kann man ja noch verschmerzen, aber außerdem wackelte der einzige Stuhl und bald fiel auch noch ein Stuhlbein ab. "Man könne da nichts machen" wurde mir gesagt, ich kann das Bein ja wieder versuchen hineinzustecken. Was wirklich EKLIG ist, sind Bad und Toilette: Ungepflegt, seit wahrscheinlich 40 Jahren nicht renoviert, überall Schimmel und uralter Dreck.

The Butte aux Cailles is one of my favourite areas to stay in Paris. The Auguste Blanqui market on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday is a great shopping experience. My typical day starts with croissants from Merci Jerome with Happy Hour at La Folie en Tete around the corner. The Auberge de la Butte serves great French food and the Soyouz bar cafe has great pizza. Room size typical for Paris but shower had power! Clean and comfortable, Merci Saint Charles

Not a huge room, but excellent by Paris standards, with a standard-sized double bed; minimalist but efficient bathroom. Impeccable cleanliness. Convenient location to two metro lines (6 towards the Eiffel Tower and 7 towards Notre Dame) just a few minutes away on foot. Varied, excellent and plentiful breakfast. Staff always available. Quiet neighborhood, with numerous clubs. I highly recommend this hotel.
