We are timeshare owners at that resort and visit every year. This year everything went smoothly with no hick ups. Our suite was spacious and in good condition. Service is only provided once a week but one can ask for anything missing and also for trash pick up. Was no problem for us and every request, like additional coffee, was promptly filled. I don't want to comment on the somewhat confusing layout of the resort, but over the years we have learned to navigate it very well. There are always stairs one can take to avoid waiting for an elevator. Skier service is good every year and our skis arrived promptly at the Gondola after sending a message to the desk. This time we had a car and parking was fairly easy. The first day we used the Valet parking but then decided to use the Guest Parking and that was fine. We did not use the resort shuttle at all this time. We definitely are looking forward to our return next year. The resort has a plan to remodel the suites because most of them are somewhat dated; so that will be exciting to see. If you have any specific questions, please don't hesitate to send me a message. I will try to answer it.
Park City Peaks

It was located right in between to two busy places of park city. I loved that they offered cookies and hot chocolate during the afternoon. They had an extensive complimentary breakfast with lots of seating in the restaurant. The weekend we were there the ice rink was closed which was a bummer but not a big deal. I liked that they had a indoor/outdoor pool and two hot tubs, one outdoor and one indoor. The pool was definitely too cold to swim in for winter. They also had a steam room and sauna. The room was a decent size and roomy for my husband and I. I wish the fridge would actually get cold enough to keep food cold but we were only there one night. The bed was very comfortable. The walls are a little bit thin, we could hear our neighbors around 3 am drunk talking loudly. They did have a noise curfew but it was being ignored.
Best Western Plus Landmark Inn

This is the cheapest room in the trip, the environment is quite good, basically foreigners, next to the Outlets, most people come here to ski! The room is also very clean! There are warm pools and many children are playing inside.

Having Marriott status doesn’t seem to do any good here. Next time we will probably check out the Montage. We live in Park City and used points to book a room over the 4th of July for our family. I have Platinum status with Marriott and we thought this would be a good idea for the kids. We booked a basic room with 2 queens. Upon checking in today I saw that our room was one of maybe 20% of rooms on a floor that doesn’t have a balcony. I went to the front desk to ask for a different room with a balcony as the Marriott app showed multiple open rooms with 2 queens that had balconies, albeit on the opposite side of the hallway vs ours. With Platinum status this was not a big ask. The person behind the desk went to ask his manager, who said no and that we had to stick with the room. I informed him that I can see on Marriott’s app that there are other rooms with 2 queens listed open during our stay that have a balcony. Just sitting empty. He replied that since we are using points, the manager said we have no choices and can’t move rooms, even though those facing the mountain are sitting empty. This seems pretty petty especially when you consider we have been staying at this hotel a few times a year as locals. With 4 of us in a room the balcony had been key in the past to let the kids hang and watch a show while my wife and I sat outside. Sadly, that is not an option for us on this trip since the staff would rather rooms with balconies sit empty vs try to help out a frequent Marriott traveler.
