GGuest UserBeautiful hotel, tasteful interiors, spacious rooms with balcony, very clean, superb personnel and great location in front of Schönbrunn Castle gardens and close to U4 line to the City Centre (about 15min by subway to reach Karlsplatz/Opera/Ringstr). With my highest recommendations.

GGuest UserWhat a fantastic stay!  Location - the property is located about 15 mins walk from Wien Hauptbahnhof station, which is a direct RailJet service to the airport for 4.60 EUR. It also has several tram and bus lines running by stops even closer than that. Getting to central Vienna is easy via these options, and other sights like Schonbrunn Palace are relatively accessible, and comparable to other hotels located in the city centre.  Rooms - my room was conveniently located near the elevator on the sixth floor, and provided an excellent view over the Schweizergarten. The property is on the smaller, more boutique side, so the elevator is never going to be too far from the room. The lobby is also small which means you can literally go from walking in the door of the lobby to the door of your room in a minute; the same can’t be said for larger properties typical of the major brands. The room was surprisingly spacious, was cleaned every day (which I was very surprised about, a rarity in Europe these days!), the bed was comfortable and the temperature easily controlled. The only thing I would note is the water temperature control in the shower was overly sensitive, but once you get it set to preference it’s fine. Staff - the staff were excellent: friendly and professional. The restaurant staff were also excellent when I visited for dinner one evening.  Value - perhaps what I was most pleased with was the value. I paid less than half of what similar properties were charging for my dates, though granted I booked several months in advance. I’d highly recommend the Hotel Daniel if you’re booking a stay in Vienna!

HholidayThe restaurant on the 18th floor of the hotel has a beautiful view, but the hotel service needs improvement, and some staff are discriminatory towards Chinese guests. On the first day of check-in, we were given a room with a broken air conditioner. The front desk refused to change it and lied, saying that all rooms had similar AC issues. During dinner at the hotel on the first day, both the waiter taking our order and the host who seated us were very rude.

Xxwhuang0209We were kindly upgraded to a suite by the front desk, which was a wonderful bonus! The room was spotless, had excellent soundproofing, and was wonderfully quiet at night. The location is also excellent; just about a 200-meter walk away, you'll find a bus stop with routes directly to the city center and the Heroes' Square area. Even better, the 71E bus stops right at the hotel entrance for the return journey, which is incredibly convenient. While the hotel does show its age a bit, Vienna truly is renowned as one of the most livable cities. Consistent with this, the hotel's maintenance and service are absolutely top-notch, more than making up for any dated aspects.

GGuest UserHarry's Home Wein Millennium Tower was a nice hotel stay for me.  The location was good, next to the Danube river and right above a shopping mall.  Also, was only a 3 minute walk to the metro train into the city center (or other places in Vienna).   The front desk young woman was extremely nice and helpful.  The hotel, and my room were clean and spacious.  Several big windows had a nice view out.  I did not eat the hotel breakfast due to my personal time schedule, but there is a large grocery store directly below the hotel that is open from 7:40 am until 8 pm that was good.  Also, right outside the hotel entrance/exit you can take the skywalk in the mall across to the mall foodcourt with several options. I felt the hotel was a good value for the money, and much cheaper than staying in the city center of Vienna.  I was able to take the metro and tram into that area in about 25 minutes or so.  Overall, I was pleased with the staff, the location, my room, etc and I would stay there again if I am back in Vienna.

SStanley The Travel ManIt is hard to find a reasonable priced hotel in Vienna. If you want to stay in the old city, you have to pay double the price of this hotel or more. This hotel is near Tram line # 2 about 5 minutes away. You can buy ticket online so this location is a compromise between price and location. You pay a less in return for staying a bit away from the center of the city across the river. The hotel is situated in a jewish neighborhood. I arrived on Friday and orthodox jews were out in force making me felt like I was in Jerusalem or New Year but there were also a mix of women wearing veils.  The hotel breakfast is expensive but in the room free coffee and tea were available free of charge. It has a small desk . The best is on the first floor there is a microwave oven . I used it everyday . I love it. I stayed in Room 306 and my room shared a wall with the elevator shaft. I requested a room farthest away from the elevator when I reserved it but on arrival , the staff just said ‘ we didn’t receive any complains from anyone. If you have issue, we will try to change your room ‘ which I didn’t really like the answer because everyone has different tolerance for noise. Although I have to admit that the room has no noise from the elevator. It was in general fairly quiet.   The negative maybe is I hear trams passing by every few minutes.  It is not annoyingly loud but noticeable so you don’t focus on your mind on the noise, you will be fine.  Also there is only one elevator. The other end of the building also has  The staff was very nice. I think this is a decent hotel but I like the one that I stayed in right before which offered breakfast , much closer to the city center without crossing the river and more restaurants  choices as it is very close to the pedestrian zone which has a Billa Market. ( Can I mention that the name of the other  hotel is called Jaz in the City ?)

SSusanzaThe room was quite comfortable, but the carpet was too old. The breakfast was quite rich. The restaurant on the 57th floor was closed on Sundays and was booked on Saturdays, so there was no restaurant to eat in. You could only order room service. When you called for service, no one answered the phone or the waiting time was long. So the hotel is far from the 5-star standard.

VVerified MemberđŸšđŸš‡đŸ„đŸ§ŒđŸ™ïž I think the hotel is in a very well-connected area. It’s about a 20-minute walk from the main bus and train terminal and just a short metro ride into Old Town for all your sightseeing needs. The room was spacious with solid housekeeping and a clean, well-kept bathroom. No complaints regarding cleanliness — everything was taken care of. One thing to note is that the hotel is massive. We were given the very last room at the end of a long corridor, which meant it took nearly five minutes to walk to the elevator. So when you check in, I recommend asking for a room closer to the elevator, otherwise it can be a bit of a hassle going back and forth. Something that left a bad taste was only being told at checkout that breakfast would be charged as an extra. My honest tip is that if you do decide to have breakfast, just don’t mention it. With the number of guests they manage, it’s unlikely they’ll track who actually showed up at the buffet. The breakfast itself was average — your typical hotel spread. The eggs tasted a bit off, but I made it work with multiple cappuccinos from the machine, plus some sausages and toast to fill up. Overall, nothing fancy, but probably great value considering how expensive Vienna can be. Most importantly, the hotel is very well connected to public transit, with a metro station just a five-minute walk away. That line has frequent trains to and from Old Town, which made sightseeing super convenient. I’ll probably stay here again, though I don’t think the breakfast is worth the price, and I do wish they had been more upfront about the cost from the beginning. Did you find this review helpful? ❀

XXinglinccOn a motorcycle trip through Europe, I passed through Vienna and found a hotel that offered great value for money. Since I was traveling solo, I kept things simple. The cleanliness was good, and the service was exceptionally friendly! The front desk staff spoke fluent English and, surprisingly, even quite a bit of Chinese, which made them incredibly welcoming! I wasn't aware the hotel had parking, so my motorcycle unfortunately got a ticket. The front desk was incredibly helpful and enthusiastically guided me on how to deal with it. A huge thank you to them! There's no air conditioning, but they provided a portable air cooler. It was a little noisy, but it definitely kept the room cool!
