The overall stay exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding and bathroom were impeccably maintained. The staff provided attentive and thoughtful service. The room had good soundproofing, and the facilities were well-maintained and functional. It's suitable for both business trips and leisure travel.

The hotel’s location was very convenient — it’s right next to some of Hohhot’s major hospitals, which made getting around quite easy. The room was clean, and although there was no central heating, the air conditioner provided enough warmth. Our room faced the main road, so it was a bit noisy at times. Also, there was no mini-bar/fridge in the room, which was a bit inconvenient. Communication with the staff was slightly challenging since they don’t speak English, but we managed. Overall, it was a decent stay with good cleanliness and a convenient location.

Sheyi Tea Culture hotel was an amazing stay, definitely a must stay if visiting Hohhot! Food & Drink 🫖 This hotel is also a tea house and it is a tea drinker’s dream! First the room a booked came with my own tea brewing equipment and a tea brewing table with an excellent view and comfortable seats! But that is just the beginning, as you head down to the main floor a fully stocked, beautiful tea house & cafe awaits you. Daily tea and even delicious milk tea is always available. Private table sets and outdoor seating is available too. The tea masters are skilled and attentive, which made all my tea drinking experiences fun and enjoyable! You can also purchase various tea and tea ware right in the tea house. Location 📍 This hotel is perfectly located close to the near by Ancient Street, with many close by temples and shrines to visit. A craft street is close by and available all day, while a famous local food street opens up for colourful night time snacking in the evening. Many close by restaurants offering authentic local cuisine, I recommend reading the hotel’s recommendations as they were always great. If you need even more tea experience, there is a nearby tea wholesale market and many high end tea house in the area as well. The Room 🛌 The room I stayed in had lots of space, was very clean and had everything you could need to feel comfortable. Daily bathroom necessities are provided. High quality bedding, robes and slippers are waiting for you. High end bathroom equipment is installed, with hot water always available. Premium television is set up and Wifi connection always had high speeds. A beautiful kettle and tea set can be used to make tea with daily water and a welcome tea package provided. Staff 👩⚕️ The staff were very king and helpful right from check in. Actually even before check in they were helping bring my luggage inside! They were patient with communication as I was a foreign visitor. They answered any and all questions I had. They recommended great tea and amazing restaurants! The staff were always available and always smiling! Such great people really made my stay a dream. This was probably the nicest hotel I have stayed in and I definitely would recommend it to anyone visiting Hohhot! I will be back again for sure.

This was my first time staying in a family room, and as soon as I walked in, I felt the layout was very convenient. The front desk lady checked me in quickly and gave clear directions when I asked how to get around. It was also easy to get a taxi from here or go to the East Station 🙂 The room was comfortable to stay in. The bedding was neatly made, felt very soft to the touch, and both the pillows and duvet were clean and dry. I slept really well at night, and the soundproofing was good too; outside noises barely bothered me at all 😌 The gym was a pleasant surprise. It was clean and bright, and the equipment was sufficient for a daily workout. It was very convenient to go and get some exercise after a long journey, and it didn't feel stuffy in there 🏋️ The breakfast variety was richer than I expected, with both hot and cold options, all tasty. Overall, my stay was very hassle-free, suitable for family trips or an overnight stopover 😊

We stayed for three nights in total, and the overall experience was great. For the first two nights, since the standard rooms were fully booked, we opted for a queen room. On the third day, the hotel upgraded us to a family room, which was much bigger and our child absolutely loved it. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly patient with both check-ins and answering our questions. The cleanliness was impressive; we felt very comfortable staying there. Breakfast was also good, with a variety of vegetables and fruits, plus freshly cooked noodles, so there was plenty of choice. The location is very convenient, with many dining options nearby. Chain restaurants serving shaomai and Mongolian cuisine are just a few minutes' walk away, and it's also very easy to get a taxi to various attractions. Excellent value for money!

Breakfast was incredibly rich and varied; the lamb shaomai was particularly authentic, and the lamb offal soup was absolutely delicious – highly recommend both! What truly stood out was the genuine and professional service team. From the warm milk the housekeeping auntie discreetly replenished daily to the help with planning my travel itinerary, every little detail exuded a heartwarming, 'home-like' feeling. Upon check-out, the front desk even gave me a souvenir gift, a thoughtful gesture that instantly melted away any travel fatigue. Xin Cheng Hotel isn't just a place to rest; it's a living cultural museum. It tells stories through its architecture, conveys local charm through its cuisine, and embodies warmth through its service. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely choose it again if I return to the area. The service was excellent from the moment I arrived. The staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary room upgrade, which was a thoughtful gesture and made a big difference. It was the last stop of my trip, and after spending the previous night in a hotel deep in the grasslands where I barely slept because of the noise and late-night celebrations, having a spacious and quiet room was exactly what I needed. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth, and the hotel was also very accommodating with a late check-out request. The location is another major advantage. The hotel is conveniently located not far from the airport, making it an excellent choice for both arriving and departing travelers. It's also only about a 20-minute Didi ride from the city center, so it's easy to explore local restaurants and attractions. The hotel sits next to a horse racing track and is close to the grasslands, making it a great base for discovering the area. Depending on the season, you may be able to watch horse races, while the nearby grasslands offer plenty of activities such as horseback riding, seeing local farm animals, and exploring the beautiful scenery. Nearby the hotel you can easily find bicycle rentals area, including both regular and electric multi-seat bikes, which are a fantastic way to experience the grasslands. One thing I realized after my trip is that I would actually recommend staying in a comfortable hotel like this rather than spending the night in accommodations deep in the grasslands. You can easily take a day trip to enjoy all the natural attractions while returning in the evening to a much higher standard of comfort and service. The hotel itself is very large and feels more like a conference center, with five floors and plenty of rooms. There is also a small convenience store on the ground floor for snacks and essentials, as well as an in-house restaurant, making everything very convenient. The rooms are spacious, clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The carpeted floors provide excellent sound insulation, and everything was well maintained. Compared to other hotels I stayed at in the higher-altitude grasslands, this hotel offers a noticeably higher standard of accommodation and a much more relaxing experience. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay. The excellent service, convenient location, comfortable rooms, and easy access to both the airport and the grasslands make this hotel an outstanding choice. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy, and the location was very convenient. There's free parking right outside, and it's close to both the subway and bus stations. Plus, there's a large supermarket nearby, making shopping super easy.

Yesterday I was drunk and went to the hotel opposite my work to get an hourly room to rest. The purpose of rest was to work better. After sleeping all morning, I was resurrected with full blood in the afternoon and could work hard again. Overall the hotel is quite quiet and the facilities are relatively old, but the advantage is that it is close to the company, just opposite the unit.
