An Unexpectedly Perfect Homestay Our first homestay experience and it absolutely nailed it. The hosts felt like long-lost local relatives from the moment we arrived. The hostess welcomed us with freshly harvested organic corn, and the warmth never stopped there. They even took us along to a family gathering at a relative’s home for a full lamb hot pot feast, where we came as guests and left as family. The location sits at the end of a quiet street, facing a sprawling blueberry farm. What first felt a little raw and remote quickly revealed itself as pure charm, thanks to the complete absence of traffic and the total stillness that surrounds it. The whole area has an untouched quality to it, with unspoiled landscapes, fresh air, and a pace of life that feels beautifully removed from the modern world. A lovely lakeside park is just a short walk away, and the nearby farmers’ market overflows with local produce, rare vegetables, and street snacks you won’t find anywhere else. The homestay itself doubles as a quiet art gallery, as the host and his son are artists whose works cover every wall beautifully. Highly recommend. Come open-minded, leave with memories.

I saw countless hotels and homestays before I traveled, and finally chose this one. The reason is that the evaluation is clean and tidy, and there is plenty of parking space. This is my must. Staying for 12 days, the hotel provides different scented tea every day, and poked my preferences. I think the breakfast is very rich. I tasted every breakfast on the first day. As a result, I was not hungry until 2 noon. The breakfast sister was also wearing a hat. The little beauty at the front desk, the children were super polite, the training was excellent, and the hotel was located on Maitreya Avenue. We are driving by car, the car is parked, and there are buses to the attractions, which is very convenient. Not far from Honghe Water Town and Huquan Ecological Park, it can be reached on foot. There is also a Qingfeng Park behind the hotel. Finally, I mentioned the hotel firefighting. Because on the evening of the 24th, extreme weather caused a power outage. The alarm system rang in the middle of the night and asked to evacuate through the security channel. This found that the hotel's safety channel is very perfect, there is a small garden directly to the backyard, all in the external stairs, there is also a very wide emergency channel inside, although I was awakened in the middle of the night, but this kind of fire makes people feel very at ease If I have to say the shortcomings, then I can also say that the carpet in the public area of the hotel is not my favorite color. 😂

Although we only stayed in Mile for one night and it rained, our experience at Wanshan was great. We booked a two-bedroom suite, and I have to say, the soundproofing was excellent; we weren't disturbed by different schedules at all. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The hotel is located right within Honghe Water Town, very close to Qianwang Gate, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Focheng Shangdu (commercial city) is also not far. My only regret is that the weather wasn't cooperative, so we couldn't visit Lake Spring Ecological Park or enjoy the outdoor terrace of our room. Overall, though, our stay was still very pleasant!

I have stayed at this hotel many times and it is always good. The hotel is very new and fresh. It is decorated with many flowers and green plants. The hotel is very lively. Everywhere is very clean and tidy, and there is no blind spot in hygiene. Various room types, room prices are very reasonable, parking and eating are very convenient downstairs, very suitable for friends and families to travel, highly recommended! I will stay again when I come to Maitreya. The hotel management is good and I give thumbs up to the hotel owner~

This time, I stayed at the Venus Hotel with my child, and it was a fantastic experience! The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The hot spring area had many pools with excellent water quality; a soak there was incredibly relaxing. The swimming pool water was clear, and the environment was spacious and great for photos. The staff provided attentive and thoughtful service, and check-in was swift. My child loved the hotel. It’s definitely a top choice for a family vacation, and I'll choose to stay here again on my next holiday.

This hotel stay was amazing! Initially, I was deliberating between this and other hotels inside the scenic area, but the moment I stepped through the doors, I knew I had made the best decision. This is the kind of hotel I'd want to stay at for two nights. The lobby is exquisite, and the staff were incredibly warm and even helped me switch to the main building, which I preferred – a huge thank you! 🌹 The room was spacious, and the bedding was super comfortable. As someone with germophobia, I was very satisfied with the cleanliness and hygiene of the room. The quiet environment and surrounding forest views were incredibly therapeutic; I could take deep breaths and enjoy a true forest bath. Plus, there are 16 different hot spring pools with various functions. Going for a soak both nights and being able to see the stars was truly delightful. Getting to the scenic area was also convenient with dedicated shuttle service. The breakfast was diverse and delicious, and there were even various classes offered daily, though unfortunately, I didn't have time to participate. I would definitely love to come back and stay again next time! ❤️

Facilities: Mainly focused on wisdom, but there is a switch that is not very sensitive. Cleanliness: Very good, and the large public space on the eighth floor is a surprise. Environment: The surroundings are very convenient, you can walk anywhere. But the second floor is a bit noisy. There is a large group of people who checked in very late and have been playing and parking. Of course, this is also related to our dislike of sleeping with the windows closed.

The hotel is well positioned within the resort establishments of Dongfenyun. However, only those individual villa units have tubs for soaking. However, it is not ”hot springs” as advertised in the name. Not to be confused with the type of 'onsen' in Japan. . By booking this accommodation, we can access the attractions in Dongfengyun area without having to pay extra entry fees for Dongfengyun scenic area. Buggy transfers are provided by the hotel into Dongfengyun area. We like the simple and healthy breakfast, which is freshly prepared every morning. Mile is a quick getaway just 40 mins south of Kunming. Hence, there are many day trippers in Mile.

The room was large and clean, the toiletries and hardware facilities were all available, the desktop was big enough to put a lot of luggage. The hotel staff was very good at serving, the front desk was very warm, and the window was not closed when it was raining heavily. After returning, contact the staff to mop the floor. There are many restaurants and breakfast shops nearby, more than 1 km from the Huquan Ecological Park, within walking distance. There are free parking spaces before and after the hotel.

The room is good, clean and hygienic. The hotel is very close to the lake in the middle of the mountain. You can walk to the lake in less than 10 minutes after a meal. The boss is very good, the price is not expensive, the hotel is very convenient to drive from Jinping Mountain, Oriental Rhyme, Taiping Mountain Forest Park Scenic Area, recommended to the pros who are going to Maitreya!
