Mohe Hotels with Free Parking.

I only saw the aurora because I booked this hotel! When I looked up from the bridge leading to the hotel, everything around me was a bit bright. At first, I thought it was light pollution, but then I noticed several taxi drivers getting out to film it. It wasn't until many locals came over to look and take pictures that we realized it was the aurora. If I had stayed at a different hotel, I probably wouldn't have seen it. The room was large, and the bathroom was nice. The wooden decorations looked a bit old-fashioned in photos, but they weren't at all. There was also a cat and a dog. The owner didn't actively solicit good reviews; this is entirely a subjective assessment.

The owner was very kind; he picked us up from the bus station and drove us to buy tickets when we left. The room was really clean, and knowing we were sensitive to the cold, he arranged the warmest room for us. It had underfloor heating, and the toilet was heated and fully automatic. We heard there was an aurora borealis, and the owner said he would definitely let us know if it happened and would take us there, so we wouldn't have to wait there freezing. He was very considerate throughout the trip, even telling us where to go and recommending restaurants. Most importantly, they offer free water-to-ice water-splashing service, and you can do it for as long as you want, right in the hotel's backyard.

I absolutely love this guesthouse! It's clean, comfortable, and they thoughtfully provide disposable toiletries for guests. The decor makes it feel like you're staying in a cabin abroad. The breakfast is delicious too. There's even a little courtyard outside the guesthouse that's perfect for photos, you can even try the 'splashing water into ice' trick there. I'll definitely stay here again next time! 😊

The hotel is a log cabin built in 2018 and very well-maintained. It is warm throughout the entire place. The bathroom water is very hot and sufficient, don't worry about the water running cold halfway through a shower. The Kang bed is warm and cosy. The host and her family are very friendly and helpful, always giving their very best to make guests feel at home. They can help to arrange for local tours and transport to Mohe or Beiji Village. They can also help to check for the forecast of the aurora, and will wake you up to view the aurora in the middle of the night. They provide the hot water and pot for the 'splashing water into ice' activity, and will advise you the best time to try that with the rising sun as the backdrop. There is a vast plain right in front of the hotel with a nice view of the sun rising out of the mountains to capture the best shot for the water-splashing. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Beihong Village.

I have to give this hotel a huge shout-out! From check-in to check-out, the service was incredibly thoughtful, and the staff were always ready to help. The biggest surprise was being able to do laundry, which is super practical for anyone on a longer road trip – it solved a major headache. Parking was also incredibly convenient; no need to hunt for a spot, you just park right downstairs, which is hassle-free and secure. The environment is really comfortable, clean, and tidy; the hygiene is impeccable, and the bedding feels fresh, making for a very pleasant stay. The owner is also incredibly warm and friendly, chatting with us like a friend and even proactively recommending great local spots. The whole experience was top-notch! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit, and I highly recommend it to everyone~

I'm not a shill, not a shill, not a shill! I saw a triple room available at Mubei Guesthouse late at night while browsing online, so I booked it. I added the owner on WeChat to ask about carpooling. The owner was incredibly enthusiastic, explaining the itinerary to me. Upon arrival, he took us on the North-South route of Beiji Village (provided the owner was home and not busy). The owner's mother runs the guesthouse, which is exceptionally clean. You can see the sheets she washes and hangs to dry in the rooms every day. It's also incredibly warm inside, warm enough to sleep without a blanket. There's a large courtyard in the back where you can splash water and have fun in the morning! The next day, we shared a car with the owner to Baihualin Longjiang First Bend. They weren't rushing us at all and let us take lots of photos and enjoy the trip. Oh, and there's a very friendly little dog that lets you pet it—super well-behaved. In short, I was very lucky to stay at Mubei Guesthouse; the owner and his aunt are truly wonderful and genuine people. I'll definitely stay at Mubei again next time. Let me share my story: I was a bit worried because some online reviews of hotels in Beijicun (Arctic Village) weren't great. I kept searching and found this inn. Initially, there were no king rooms, but I patiently waited a day, and suddenly one became available, so I booked for two nights. I don't like bothering people, so from Mohe Station, I took a taxi directly to the front of the 'Northernmost Post Office' and walked the rest of the way! I met the owner, who was very enthusiastic and took me to rent a car (I'm a travel photographer: Jie Meng 3633). The car rental place quoted 400 yuan. The owner told me it was a bit expensive and advised me to go back to Mohe to rent, but I decided against it, not wanting to disrupt my shooting schedule, so I rented it. Later, I got stuck in the snow while driving. The owner drove out with a shovel and helped me rescue the car after a great deal of effort. Everything turned out fine. I'm especially grateful for his help in resolving the unexpected situation in -35 degree weather! The room was very clean, and the proprietress kept it very tidy. I travel with some equipment, and since the police station is right across the street, I often didn't even bother closing my door – I felt completely at ease. For friends who are into travel photography or have many safety concerns, you won't go wrong choosing this place!

The room was neat, clean, and very warm. It's a short walk back from the bus station, just inside. There's a large open space near the entrance where you can watch the sunrise and even play a water-splashing game that turns water into ice. The landlady's noodles were delicious; her cooking skills are exceptional. Since the kitchen was still under renovation, the owner even helped us order a braised goose in an iron pot and took us to buy geese raised by her grandparents. The warmth and hospitality of the people of Northeast China was truly felt here. This hostel is the cleanest and most welcoming guesthouse I've ever stayed in from a Northeast family. Highly recommended!

🌟A hidden gem of accommodation in Mohe Township! A truly worthwhile trip for our family of three! The stay was absolutely fantastic! 💯 The room featured a superb wood and stone theme, cozy and unique. The pure cotton duvet covers were incredibly soft and comfortable against the skin, ensuring a sound sleep. Opening the window revealed breathtaking winter snowscapes of Mohe, and across the street, you could even see the Russian mountains – every frame was like a painting! The owner is incredibly thoughtful ❤️! The courtyard was filled with meticulously arranged photo spots, from floral arrangements to wooden miniature landscapes; every snapshot was a masterpiece, brimming with poetic charm, completely exceeding our expectations! The owner was also incredibly warm and hospitable, even telling us about bonfires, singing, and whole roasted lamb in the summer – we're already so excited! Staying at such a wonderful hotel in Mohe Township was an amazing experience! I've already raved about it to all my friends and family, and I'll definitely be back, winter or summer!

The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but it's only a one or two minute walk away. It may be the Spring Festival, so not many restaurants are open nearby. If they are open, go early or you'll have to queue. The hotel has good facilities and offers free parking. The room is clean and warm, but you need to open the window. You can walk to the post office and square in the city center, but you need to take a car to other attractions!
