There's limited facilities with only one washer/dryer. On the downside, the common areas have room for improvement; there's a sewage smell in the lift areas, the waterproof sealing is poor quality (the sink in the room moves and the sealing on the shower floor is peeling off); but for this price, these are small and acceptable niggles. The location is great with good cheap eateries nearby including a Luckin Coffee. The Xintiandi shopping centre is very accessible with a minibus service (service numbers 1, 4 and 7 ;10 minute ride & get off at Jiaoshan primary school stop and walk 150m) that has plenty of shopping and things for kids to do. It even has a good gym on the 5th floor (Mariss Gym, single entry of RMB20).
