LLynnOhWe had a fantastic stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the reception team. There was healthy tea available for guests in the lobby, which was a lovely touch. Even the security guards were helpful and happy to provide information – they even rushed to help carry our luggage down the steps.
Breakfast was served in the library, which has a beautiful decoration and a wide selection of food.
The best part of our stay, however, was the hotel's thoughtful service. They helped my daughter – who is currently in London – order a bouquet of flowers to be delivered to me in the room for Mother's Day. I had no idea about this arrangement. Shortly after we checked in, reception knocked on my door with the flowers. What a pleasant surprise!
It's truly impressive that such great customer service can be delivered even online. Highly recommended!

AAnonymous UserThis is a new hotel, and all its facilities are excellent and well-equipped, including a laundry room and a gym. The hotel service is very welcoming. Our favorite part was the breakfast buffet every morning! It was incredibly rich and offered a great variety. The new hotel's location is also fantastic, making it convenient for getting around. It's right next to CC Mall, so you can walk there directly. Plus, our room was set back from the main road, ensuring a quiet night's sleep. They even provided fresh fruit during our stay! Thank you! Highly recommended!

GGuest UserAn excellent stay! First off, I have to praise the cleanliness—the room was spotless, and the bedding was fresh and tidy, which made me feel incredibly comfortable. The service was impeccable, too; everyone from the front desk staff to the housekeeping aunties was warm, polite, and very quick to respond. The breakfast had a great variety, including local specialties and freshly made noodles and wontons. You can see the high-speed train station nearby, just a few hundred meters away, and despite the new buildings in the area, it was surprisingly quiet, so I slept really well. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm transiting through Urumqi.

GGuest UserStaying at the Four Seasons Modern Hotel was a real bargain! The price was incredibly reasonable, and while I initially thought the experience would be mediocre at such a low price, it completely exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable—lying down felt like being enveloped in a cloud—and I slept soundly all night. The bathroom water temperature was also excellent, with plenty of hot water, making showering a wonderful experience. Plus, the hotel's location is great; it's very convenient for dining and shopping nearby. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

Yy3nch1ngHad another night stay here before heading back, and just adding on to my earlier review—still a consistently good experience overall.
One thing I forgot to mention earlier was that we actually stored our luggage at the hotel for about 10 days while we travelled around. Xiao Mi helped us arrange and store everything securely in a locker, which gave us real peace of mind throughout the trip.
Overall, still a very smooth and reliable stay with thoughtful service from the team.

GGuest UserHostel is about 5 - 7 minutes away from the ”Sports Centre” metro station, which is about 25+ minutes from the airport.
The hostel entrance is next to the Tesla shop, and you have to press the buzzer, for the security guard to open the gate for you.
Then, after writing your name down in the guest-book, you go up to the 10th floor in the lift.

The staff speak little to no English, but they are very helpful.
They will try to solve your issues, as long as you patient with the translation software.
Also, it is difficult for staff to check you in, if you do not have a contact number or Alipay/Wechat contact.
(This is a CN Govt requirement)
The dorm rooms are basic and you may get the city views.
There are no privacy curtains and there was no air-con, in my one.
The hostel staff can provide fans, but we did not need any, as it was still cool at night.
The beds are OK.
There is a bathroom in the dorm room too, but there was almost no privacy for the bathroom, as there was a gap between the door for others to see and you can see through the frosted glass into the bathroom too!
The hostel is relatively clean, quiet and well-located,
except there may be other local guests, who are loud and smoke sometimes in the other rooms.
Next to the hostel is a nice up-market shopping centre and with really lots to eat, in the food-court on the 3rd floor.
