YangguangtubaobaoThe hotel facilities are all brand new and in perfect condition. The room was meticulously cleaned, with no dust even in the corners, and the air was fresh with no strange odors. The guest room was spacious, and the bedding was clean and soft, making for a very comfortable sleep. The hot water came out quickly and at a stable temperature, and the bathroom area was dry and tidy. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a quiet night's rest. The front desk staff were warm and polite, even giving us many boxes of Zhongwei硒砂瓜 to try. Check-in was very quick. The surrounding area is also quite convenient for getting around. As a new establishment, both the hardware and cleanliness are impeccable, offering great value for money. It's perfect for both leisure travel and short stays, highly recommended. I'll definitely choose this place again if I have the chance.

Everything was excellent, and the service was exceptionally satisfactory. The public breakfast restaurant was particularly comfortable and the service was personalized. The only drawback was the lack of fast charging in the entire parking lot, with only three slow charging stations. Many electric vehicle models couldn't be charged there and had to be driven 8 kilometers to the township power supply station to charge.

Stayed for two nights and tried two different room types: a log cabin and a lotus tent. The housekeeper's service is very good. He replies to WeChat messages and answers phone calls immediately at any time. It makes tourists who are not familiar with camping projects feel very reassured. The breakfast is very rich. During holidays, it is recommended to go there just after the meal starts, when there are fewer people and you can enjoy the special food slowly. The desert project package can be purchased directly at the registration desk, which is very convenient. The sandboard can be used for free and unlimited sliding. We stayed in Dongge Camp for a whole day. The next day, the housekeeper helped us contact Master Wang to charter a car to visit several popular attractions in Zhongwei. The half-day tour was not too fast or too slow, and the experience was very good. Recommended to all friends who want to camp in the desert and charter a car

QingxiugainindeyonghunichengEverything about this place was a pleasant surprise! The courtyard-style architecture is quiet and comfortable, making for a truly relaxing stay. I could enjoy the beautiful Yellow River scenery right from my room. The cleanliness was excellent, and the room's interior decor was unique and stylish. But the absolute best part was the service. Since the hotel is managed by the Shapotou Scenic Area, I received a discount on the entrance tickets. The room rate also included three meals, and what really surprised me was the high quality of the food. There was no sense of them cutting corners just because it was part of a package; the dishes were plentiful and delicious. And every staff member in the courtyard was outstanding – a huge thank you to them! They genuinely put a lot of effort into making sure everyone loves both the courtyard and the Shapotou Scenic Area. It wasn't just the courtyard staff; other staff members at Shapotou were also excellent. They advised me on the most efficient way to explore, saving time and effort. Plus, all the activities in the scenic area were incredibly fun. Personally, the food, accommodation, and activities were all delightful surprises. I hope to come back with my family next time and stay for a few more days.

Overall, this hotel is quite worth staying at. I really liked the hotel's design, ambiance, and facilities, and the room was also good. I booked a room with a hot tub, and the cleanliness was excellent.
However, the service and management were clearly weak points. On the day of check-in, the hotel was fully booked, and the lobby, which isn't very large, was crowded. When we first arrived at the parking lot, there was only one older gentleman working, and it took a while to find someone to help with luggage, clearly indicating a staff shortage. During check-in, there wasn't much proactive information provided; staff only told me things after I asked. Compared to other hotels of similar standing I've stayed at before, there was a noticeable gap in service professionalism.
The restaurant gave a similar impression. The staff's attitude wasn't bad, but the service felt inexperienced. The food itself was generally mediocre, though the beef skewers at dinner were surprisingly delicious 😂. Interestingly, some of the older staff members around the hotel were very diligent, constantly cleaning and bustling about. So, my feeling after staying wasn't that there was an issue with staff attitude, but rather that the hotel's staffing, training, and management haven't kept up with its excellent facilities.
This is quite a shame because the hotel itself is really well-done.
What deserves special praise are the hotel's activities; the explanations were very thorough and professional, and this part of the experience was excellent. Coupled with the desert environment and the starry sky, I think it's still worth staying for those who come specifically to experience the desert.
If you only look at the design, room, cleanliness, and overall environment, I really like it. If the management and service professionalism can be improved later on, the overall hotel experience should be much better.

The Milky Way was breathtaking, and every photo you took looked like a masterpiece. The owner was welcoming, and the program was extensive. Highly recommended!

RuiyiwangThe room was very clean and the waiter was very sincere. Because my car had some problems, they helped me contact them. In addition, I booked an extra day because I was waiting for the car to be repaired. Later, the car was repaired. I checked out this morning and refunded the money. The waiter was very good. Thank you very much, little sister. You are welcome to contact me when you come to Taiyuan.

Guest UserI absolutely loved this place! I’m writing this as a foreigner who went with 4 other foreigners for a special birthday weekend. First, the service. We have good Chinese proficiency, but those with limited to none will be fine. Most of the communication and coordination is handled via WeChat - which can auto translate. 东 “Dong” was our main contact. He rocked and gave us a real experience. He shuttled us in the sand jeep, gifted me a cake for my birthday, and was just an overall cool guy. Thanks! Second, the location and accommodations. If you stay near Desert Star, there’s a lot of people and campsites - that area seems like a bit of a tourist funnel. This area is located in the REAL sand dunes area. Further North, you actually cross into Inner Mongolia. The separation and distance is worth it. Makes for brighter stars and a more authentic experience. Third, the food. They were able to coordinate a whole lamb to be roasted for my birthday. It was absolutely extraordinary. The sides for it were some of the best I had on the entire trip - they have some skilled chefs there. This place has great reviews, and it’s worth it. I do recommend this to foreigners, and I hope I can return one day.
