Guest UserEnvironment: Probably the best hotel in York, right? Of course, it's not cheap. The executive room I booked was very spacious, and the bed was comfortable.
Facilities: My friend and I both booked executive rooms, but it seems some rooms are older and some are newly renovated. The older rooms had a drying rack, which my newer room didn't seem to have.
Cleanliness: Decent.
Service: Executive rooms come with breakfast, but it's just a typical British buffet breakfast, not much variety. I personally didn't like it; maybe I'm just tired of 'white people food'.

Beautiful hotel only 10 minutes walk from the city centre
Our room was clean and cosy
In the room was hairdryer, iron and ironing board as well as tea/coffee facilities and an electric fan which was definitely needed with temps reaching 29 degrees 🥵
The outdoor area was stunning with lots of seating and little pods to dine in of an evening very pretty all lit up at night
All the staff were friendly and helpful
We will definitely return in the near future.

Guest UserThe location by the river is very quiet. All the city's attractions are within walking distance. Although the room is small, it has a small pantry where you can cook simple meals, which is a great plus! The lobby has a 24-hour coffee machine with freshly ground coffee, and croissants are available for breakfast in the morning. Starting the day with a cup of rich coffee and a croissant before heading out for your day's activities is indeed an excellent choice!

Located within a golf course, the hotel boasts a tranquil, peaceful, and comfortable environment with beautiful scenery. However, it's quite far from the city center, about a 30-minute drive from York's Old Town. If you're not traveling by car, it's not the best choice for accommodation. But if you have a car, it's an excellent option as parking is free.
The hotel has two restaurants with good food, but they are very expensive and the portions are small – typical fine dining. If you don't want to spend too much on food, it's best to eat in the city before entering the hotel.

SuzieQueHotel Indigo in York has a great location near to the city wall. It’s a very easy city to walk and it was nice to pop back to drop of shopping and have a rest during the day. The room was very quiet, the bed was super comfy and the shower had excellent pressure. Breakfast had lots of choice and was yummy. I really enjoyed my stay as the staff were friendly and helpful. Will stay here again when I visit York next!!

A small villa, the room is clean and tidy, very warm and quiet, the service is very good and warm, we live on the 3rd floor, there is no elevator, the suitcase is the store to help get the room, parking is also convenient. The environment of Zhou is good, and it is convenient to travel. It takes 20 minutes to walk along the river to see the tourist attractions in the downtown area. Only breakfast is very expensive. Two nights a day is a pleasant experience.

We were very disappointed with the check-in experience. The hotel assigned us rooms in a wing where the air conditioning was not working. It appeared that the staff were already aware of the problem, as my friends and I seemed to be the only guests staying in that entire wing. Unfortunately, this happened during a heatwave, making the rooms unbearably hot and very uncomfortable.
I had to walk back to reception to request a room change. The staff initially offered to bring us a fan and said the hotel was fully booked, but that was not an acceptable solution in such extreme temperatures. After I insisted, my friends and I were finally moved to rooms with working air conditioning.
What made the situation even more confusing was that guests who checked in after us were assigned rooms on other floors with functioning air conditioning. That left us wondering why we had been placed in rooms with a known problem in the first place.
Guests should never be checked into rooms with a major maintenance issue like this, especially during a heatwave. While we appreciated that the hotel eventually moved us, the whole experience left us with serious doubts about how room allocations were handled —- is it because i booked via Trip.com ?

Anonymous UserIt was a very pleasant stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They are also quite accommodating. The location is superb as it is just a 12 mins walk to thr city center.
The pool and sauna made the sray more fun.
The only critique would be the breakfast as breakfast options are limited and the same everyday. There were not enough pastries or hot food options. But it is definitely not bad. It is just a tiny feedback that would make the whole experience a 10/10.

We’ve stayed at Delta Hotels York multiple times now, and it continues to be a fantastic choice every single visit. This was our 6th stay, and once again, it was a solid 10/10 experience.
The hotel is always spotless—super clean and tidy throughout—which makes a big difference the moment you walk in. The room service is top-notch, and everything feels well thought out and well maintained. We especially appreciated the welcoming amenities in the room, including a great selection of coffee and the Ninja coffee pod machine, which was a lovely touch.
The rooms and bathrooms are impressively spacious, with plenty of room to relax comfortably. It never feels cramped, which really adds to the overall experience. The staff are consistently friendly, polite, and genuinely helpful, making every stay smooth and enjoyable.
Another big plus for us is the leisure facilities—the jacuzzi and pool are a great bonus and perfect for unwinding. On top of that, the on-site parking is safe, convenient, and reasonably priced, which is one of the main reasons we keep choosing this hotel when visiting York.
Overall, a reliable and welcoming place that never disappoints. We’ll definitely be back again.

Guest UserOverall, I wouldn't really recommend it. The location is okay, just outside the city walls. However, all the rooms are in the attic, requiring two flights of very narrow stairs, making it impossible to bring up even a slightly larger suitcase. The floors are uneven, and in some areas, it feels like they could easily collapse; even with a carpet, they still creak when you walk on them.
What's even more frustrating is that the attic is already stuffy, and a constant instant noodle smell drifts up from the downstairs restaurant. On the night we checked in, we found one of the air conditioners wasn't working, but the front desk said the maintenance staff had already left for the day and could only provide us with a small electric fan.
