GGuest UserFabulous setting up on a hill about a 20 min walk down to the town(definitely get a rickshaw back). Didn’t realise we could order eggs for breakfast until our second morning (not offered them on the first morning). Cake at breakfast was yummy.
Bathroom hadn’t been cleaned on arrival and there were splatters marks on the wall above the tea/coffee area. We also returned to our room late afternoon to find maintenance working on our balcony - did feel this could have been done after checkout!
Fabulous shower.
We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was very good. The high taxes in Tamil Nadu added to the price (almost 25%) so bear this in mind . Cocktails weee excellent.
We did the morning ’hike’ which was well worth getting up for.
We were brought a hot water bottle on our second night which was a lovely surprise.
Tea & biscuits served between 5 & 5.30pm which was a nice touch although more of the breakfast cake would have been good.
Would recommend staying here as rooms, location & restaurant are excellent.

Not so good - the 2 bedroom suite had just one bathroom and the suits are in the middle of reception. No privacy in that sense.

GGuest UserThe property is good to stay clean and well maintained, but no restaurant except breakfast, city restaurants are too far auto charges 700 rs return for 3.5 km that is too much, zomato and Swiggy is there, less option of restaurant for vegetarians 2 to 3 only,rest all is good no complains, room 101 should have tinted view glass for privacy reasons, that should be taken care off immediately, request to owner to open restaurant as well for guest atleast . staff is very well trained and behaved thanks 👍

GGuest UserThe hotel services were excellent top notch. The staff were professional, provided me with a lot of extra services with no additional cost, rooms were clean. And most importantly the location is absolutely great. Just beside the botanical garden i had some amazing experiences. The only con is the room size is too small and i mean it. It's so small if you keep your luggage on the floor you won't be able to walk properly. This can be a major issue to a lot of people

GGuest UserThe stay ar the welcome heritage fernhills palace ooty was excellent. Right from the welcome to the rooms to the service everything was top notch. I would like to add that make my trip never disappoints. However i just have one concern regarding the car and the driver. The driver otherwise was extreme cooperative but did not understand tamil or english and was comfortable only with malayalam. Overall it was a very nice experience, apart from the car and the driver.
