Because of a homestay, I fell in love with an island. Luana House is backed by the mountains and facing the sea, watching the mountains and the sea, watching the sunset, watching the sky full of stars, satisfying the appearance of all the houses in the dream. Beautiful boss, handsome boss, the ultimate and exquisite room and service details. What touched me was that we didn't tell the time of arrival at all. The bus was still in confusion. The boss and his wife had already raised their hands to us on the platform on the hillside. I really don't know how many times they looked around. And who would have expected that a table full of dishes that make your taste buds bloom is made by such a beautiful proprietress. The fresh fish caught from the sea every day and the fruits and vegetables from the garden make our perfect dinner. In order to plan a route for the greedy me, the two couples racked their brains and tried everything possible to satisfy my ideas, and then drove us to the hot spring every night. The hostess will wash the clothes we change every day and fold them for us. It is a super five-star hotel service! Full score of strength!

Great place to stay if you are travelling through Tanegashima and are spending time in or around Minamitane. Many good restaurants are within walking distance, and the owner was very nice, providing helpful tips for travelling around Tanegashima. The backyard is also a great place to do some stargazing, and the room I had was able to head directly to it. Breakfast served was also very good; a homestyle japanese style breakfast.

I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days for a trekking trip to Yakushima. Since all the hotels were booked, I had no choice but to stay at a guesthouse. The accommodation was spacious and clean, and located right next to the main road and a bus stop, making it the perfect location for traveling on foot. The owner was kind and even provided fruit and snacks when we met in the morning, giving me the feeling of staying at a guesthouse in Korea. After trekking Jomon Sugi and Shiratani Unsukyo, I rested comfortably and had a wonderful trip.

The oldest, slender gentleman with graying hair at the front desk first asked me about my travel plans for the next few days. Then, using a translation app, he communicated with me sentence by sentence to help me plan my itinerary. This was incredibly detailed, down to whether I wanted a bento box for breakfast or lunch, what time to catch the train each day, where and when to transfer, what time the last return train was, and by what time I absolutely had to leave. He even made sure to tell me which direction to take the train so I wouldn't get it wrong. The katakana he used, when put through the translation app, roughly translates to ”Kiyooka” or ”Seioka” (Mr. Kiyooka/Seioka). My sincere thanks to this gentleman!

A wonderful hotel! Only 3 minutes to Anbo Port. Very hospitable hosts and staff. We helped arrange a taxi to Shirotani in the early morning. We made an early breakfast with ourselves. The room is clean and warm. Thank you very much. I'll come back.

The first time I went abroad alone, I went to Yakushima to participate in natural experience activities and self-service travel itinerary. This trip came to this hotel twice: the first time I booked accommodation on the platform; the second time I came here temporarily because of an emergency with another booked hostel. For a foreign traveler who is unable to speak a language and has been abroad for the first time, I feel the kindness and kindness of the service staff here. The hotel is very close to the airport and can be reached in less than 5 minutes on foot. The environment in the hall is very comfortable and well equipped. The lobby, rooms, soup pools and restaurants are very clean and tidy, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Meals need to be booked separately, and the appropriate box will be given according to the number of travelers. Dinner is kaiseki cuisine with 10 meals, breakfast is 6 side dishes plus buffet (I have not booked lunch so I don't know). Most of the meals were very delicious except for some of the salty ones for my taste. Especially some local ingredients and seasonings will be used, which will make people feel more connected to this place. In terms of cost, the price is high for people who are used to living in backpackers. At the same time, after living in, I feel that the overall environment and service are very worth the price. For travelers who want to relax and relax in a quiet, slow journey, I highly recommend this hotel if financially generous permits!

The room is about 5 minutes walk from Anfang Station, close to Anfangchuan, very quiet not facing the street. Breakfast and dinner are handmade by the proprietress, very delicious. The room is small, slightly old, but well maintained and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is shared and there is a bathtub to soak in. The boss is very nice and very enthusiastic.

Ujiudao Villa is a secret hot spring in the forest, the environment is quiet, and the window is the negative ion air of the virgin forest. The Japanese-style rooms are clean and comfortable, and some have tatami areas. The biggest highlight is the high-quality hot springs. The open-air wind can listen to the stream while soaking in the soup and watching the stars, and the skin is smooth and tender. The dinner banquet cuisine uses local mountain and seafood, and the breakfast is also very rich. The staff is warm and professional and can provide hiking suggestions. 4.5 star recommendation, especially suitable for relaxing after hiking, is the perfect place to explore the nature of Yakushima.

A very rustic, traditional, homey guest house. No en suite bathroom but shared ones are super clean AND there is an indoor onsen!! The room was very warm and cozy, food ( must be ordered in advance) was amazing. The owners are extremely warm and friendly - gave us great recommendations and made us feel so at home. You are able to rent hiking here for a very low price. Location is very central, close to Miyanoura port, restaurants, and amenities. Overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly highly recommend :)
