GGuest UserThe hotel was excellent in every aspect. Our room boasted a stunning sea view, and the facilities were quite new, making for a very comfortable stay. As a couple, we opted for the half-board package, and the breakfast and dinner spreads were extensive, enjoyed in a beautiful restaurant setting. The hotel also has its own private beach, perfect for snorkeling; we had so much fun seeing all the fish!
The service throughout the hotel was exceptional, whether at the front desk, in the restaurant, or from housekeeping. When we wanted a slightly later check-out, the front desk kindly registered us as members, allowing us to extend our check-out time to 2 PM. We also requested extra bath towels, and they were delivered to our room with just one phone call.
At the restaurant, staff proactively asked about drinks, offering a wide selection of juices, sodas, beer, wine, and more. My husband ordered a beer, but I initially declined a cold drink. Amusingly, three different servers then came to ask me if I'd like anything to drink! Haha, such incredibly attentive service!
All in all, the Crowne Plaza Hotel is truly wonderful, and we'll definitely be back!

Ss.haloLocation: Close to the airport, within walking distance of Ipao Beach (though the surrounding area lacks security and safe road maintenance). A car is recommended. It's not easy to coordinate with the operating hours and methods of convenience stores or nearby retail establishments.
Room Conditions: Equipped with facilities worthy of a 3-star business hotel, the hotel offers efficient accommodations. The rooms are comfortable and safe (with network access) compared to the familiar hotel facilities. The hotel also offers the latest trendy video equipment (global content for all ages). The receptionist's prompt check-in and personalized service will help ease any awkwardness upon arrival.

When I had the chance to ride along Tumon Beach and visit with a small group, I found even more joy by making use of the main facilities like the BBQ area, outdoor pool, and fitness center. There was so much to enjoy—and even more to look forward to!

NNalanippsI like this place and often book for the infinity pool but I was a bit bummed with this recent booking. The weather wasn’t great, not the hotels fault so I didn’t swim but still enjoyed laying in the pool area. I had upgraded my room this time thinking the beds would be better since they all seem outdated and the higher priced room wasn’t any different. Just had a beach view that I liked. My major is issue was upon check in and how very unnecessarily slow the process was. I’ve worked at hotels before, no one should take this long to check in their guests, especially when the entrance doesn’t turn on their AC for their guests. On top of that I had important dinner plans that were delayed bc I couldn’t get ready in a timely manner due to the outlets being broken and broken hair dryer. I had to blow dry my hair over the toilet. I was happy the manager spoke to be next day she seemed very sweet and I am hoping I am somehow compensated in the near future. I was very disappointed that I booked this stay and hope the hotel can redeem itself.

RRuby Ann Sisonthe location and the room are awesome. We have the ocean view with balcony. We enjoy as family the scenery of sunset. We also love the amenities: the pool area is good for a family bonding, there is a place for toodlers and parents to enjoy.
the staff are all welcoming and friendly. The food also are superb, esp the buffet: everyday has a theme for the lunch so it really makes your appetite hype.
The room is clean and big, my toddler really enjoy walking around the room. The comfort also is huge with its bathtub.
We really enjoy our vacation and we really recommend the place.. The price really worth the accomodation.

The location is good for the price, and it's quite clean. It's close to GPO (Guam Premier Outlets), and the staff are friendly.
Not recommended for: Couples. Also, if you have allergies (especially to dust/mold), I wouldn't recommend it. If you can't shower with cold water, make sure the boiler has been fixed before you go.
Facilities: The physical structure is the same as the photos, but the pictures seem heavily retouched to look 'prettier' or 'brighter.' For Koreans born in the 90s, if you remember 'retreats,' it's exactly like the resorts we used to go to for elementary school retreats (late 90s - early 2000s).
Cleanliness: Despite the aging facilities, the cleaning was good. Although it's old, the bathroom had no stains and there was no dust in the corners of the room; it was well-cleaned. There was no drain smell.
Air/Smell: There's a moldy smell. The air is humid, and the bedding felt damp. I tried to ventilate, but there were pigeons on the balcony, so I couldn't open the window. If you have rhinitis, prepare for a runny nose and coughing fits.
Major Downside!!!!! The boiler had been broken since 12/15 and was under repair, but I received no notice until check-in on 12/21! I went out and came back in, only to find no hot water and had to shower with cold water, which was incredibly chilling! The free cancellation period was until 12/17. If they had informed me about the hot water issue earlier, I would have canceled. I only found out about the broken hot water after showering at 11 PM on the first night after a starlight tour, so I couldn't even get a refund for the first night.
Pros: Still, the staff were kind and responsive, and they refunded me for the remaining nights of my stay.
Guam is warm, but the room is so humid that you can't turn off the air conditioning. If you come back from the beach or swimming and there's no hot water, it's really, really cold. If you're planning to book in December, I recommend checking if the boiler has been fixed first.

GGuest UserThe place is very beautiful and at walking distance from the airport (it took me 25 min. on foot). The room may have had partial view of the sea, but it was very enjoyable. The room is the size of an apartment and very luxurious with tub, shower, heated & multi-function toilet seats, kettle, big flat TV, air-con and don't remember what else. With the room comes the access to the gym and the swimming pool, which were nice, but not of the level of the rooms. Anyway it would be a pity to use them because Ypao beach is very near and it is simply wonderful with pristine, turquoise, calm and shallow waters thanks to the coral reef. The biggest downside of the place is the price: everything is really overpriced in Guam. Luckily I caught a good offer with huge discount, but otherwise it is crazy expensive. It lacks of affordable options and anyway with the same money in other places it would have been even better.

I've read some reviews that mention cockroaches but I turned on the light on and off multiple times during nigh time and I didn't see one. The hotel is very close to the airport which was both a plus and a minus. Less time traveling but I could hear the noise in the room every time a plane landed/took off. There is a large market, Payless, nearby and a gas station too - convenient for filling up the rental car before returning it.

MModuerBecause I had to catch an early morning flight, I took a temporary rest at this hotel and didn't stay overnight. A very old hotel, there is a strange smell when you walk into the room, the floor is oily, and the pillows also smell musty.
