GGuest UserThe hotel is on a hillside, and it is a second-line sea view room. There are not many breakfast varieties, but it is enough to eat. The 4-person room on the second floor can see a small part of the sea. The room is spacious and bright, and the balcony and bathroom area are also large. The only problem is that there is no water barrier on the floor of the shower, which causes the shower water to spray onto the floor under the washbasin, which is not perfect. There are many parking spaces indoors and outdoors. It is recommended to rent a car for convenient travel.

KKjs19Toothbrush is not provided unless you ask the front desk. We requested for room cleaning on our 3rd night but it was not as clean as we expected. The toilet bowl was not cleaned, the floors were not wiped, the soap, shampoo, etc was not refilled. Our room door was difficult to open/close. There was a musty smell coming from the toilet. And one of the room lights was flickering.
Location was good 10 mins to the airport.

GGuest UserIt's been a while since I last visited Guam. Since I was traveling alone, I stayed at REEF, which is close to downtown. The hotel is old and not very sparkly. The room and the bathroom are clean. The restaurant's drainage was broken, so I booked a room with breakfast included, but I decided to eat at Eggs 'n Things, IHOP, and another restaurant. However, I could use the meal coupon at any time, so I was able to eat lunch there too, which was good. I was alone in one room, but I paid for breakfast for two people. So I was lucky to get a meal coupon for two people. I only had to pay for dinner, so I saved money! The pool is always empty, so there's no need to fight for a seat. If the weather is good, you can see the sunset from the infinity pool! DFS, JP Store, etc. are just a short walk away. The trolley stop is along the street, so it's easy to get around. Only Kmart is a little difficult to get to.

The hotel hosts lots of events within the hotel to keep the guests entertained and they served Chamorro style dinner experience every other day. The portion of the food isn’t big, but considering it’s free, it was very tasty and enjoyable.
It’s on the beach front the beach is not clean, although you can kayak to the small islands in front of the resort where you can see lots of fish.
Location is far from the city center, I’m so you’d have to take the shuttle bus for 30min to get to downtown, or 15min car ride. There is a super market within walking distance so if you only want to buy food, it’s doable.
The breakfast buffet was good. Menu changed daily and had Western, Japanese, and a bit of Korean food.
I’d recommend this hotel to families with small kids, or young group of friends on a budget.

GGuest UserTimes are hard in Guam these days. Lots of hotel rooms and almost no tourists. Holiday Resort is one of the least expensive hotels but you get what you pay for including a huge place that has seen better days. The place is not well maintained and that was frustrating. The ocean view is VERY nice but I had to ask for towels on two of the three nights we were there. The staff is VERY friendly and competent but the boiler is broken and so there is only lukewarm water in the bathroom. The thing that bothered me the most was that the list of amenities has not been updated. There is no more breakfast buffet and forget coffee in the room. The elevators did work. When I called the front desk because my walls were shaking to the unbelievably loud music coming from the next room, Security came up immediately and told them to turn it down. I wish this hotel the very best since the service was good and the workers were trying their best but I will skip this hotel the next time I'm in Guam which will be in a few more weeks.

HHaesunI booked this place after reading the reviews and seeing the value for money. The room was spacious and good value for money, but the room had poor ventilation, which was a bit of a hassle. The bathroom was actually quite comfortable, perhaps because it had been remodeled. The veranda window opens directly to the pool.

Kkilho1995I had a truly satisfying stay at the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was clean and well-equipped, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a fresh and varied menu.

SStripedPumpkinThe facilities were quite dated but room was clean. I've read some reviews that mention cockroaches but I turned on the light on and off multiple times during nigh time and I didn't see one. The hotel is very close to the airport which was both a plus and a minus. Less time traveling but I could hear the noise in the room every time a plane landed/took off. There is a large market, Payless, nearby and a gas station too - convenient for filling up the rental car before returning it.

MModuerBecause I had to catch an early morning flight, I took a temporary rest at this hotel and didn't stay overnight. A very old hotel, there is a strange smell when you walk into the room, the floor is oily, and the pillows also smell musty.
