Great
GGuest UserEvery employee was exceptional, helpful and friendly. The location is great except for getting in an out with a vehicle. The rooms were very nice, the bed was comfortable and clean. The two issues I had with the room were promptly corrected by maintenance (bad toilet flush and light bulb which was very loud). The restaurant was good, though the server was not exceptional. You feel welcome at every area within the hotel, every employee greets you as you pass.
Only bad thing that I can say is that, I am allergic to dogs and could tell from the moment I slept in the room that there had been a dog or pet in the room prior. This lead to some discomfort that I was not prepared for. A bit of warning should be given to those with allergies so that other arrangements could be made.
MM280980****This was my first time staying at a motel. The facilities were similar to those of budget hotels in Chinaāclean and new. It had its own small yard, and parking was relatively safe. The only downside was that when I arrived at night, there was no one at the front desk; I had to press the disabled access bell to get someone to check me in. There's a commercial area across the street with supermarkets and restaurants, making dining convenient. The 17 Mile Golf Resort in town (which charges an entrance fee) has beautiful scenery and is well worth a visit.
MMihnsooIt was an excellent hotel & resort. The room was nice and tidy, with a bathroom with good shower water pressure. Its breakfast was also excellent with good and friendly service. Only thing it lacks was elevator, so I recommend the first floor room with patio.
GGuest UserThe hotel is beautiful and in a good location. It is close to the beach, Cannery Row, and the aquarium, and can be reached on foot. The hotel has its own parking lot, which costs $19 per day. The free breakfast is quite rich, with fruits such as oranges, bananas, and strawberries. You can also make your own waffles, which is a good experience and tastes good. The room is relatively large, and there is a fireplace that can be lit and is very warm. You need to prepare your own toothpaste, toothbrush, and slippers.
GGuest UserEverything was good except the fact of someone pounding on my door at 1:00am then they took off! It was ridiculously unacceptable as they think itās funny! Other then that, the view of the beach from our room was spectacular. Well worth the cost. Checking in/out was quick and easy.
JJiumijiang9mIt's Christmas, and the hotel has a great atmosphere, with two oversized Christmas trees! There is also a Christmas tree and a small snowman as soon as you enter. The room is relatively ordinary, with a small balcony. There is a small pedestrian street next to the hotel. There are some small shops and food you can try. They taste good!
Hygiene: quite clean
Service: Not bad, I changed rooms three times. The first time was because there were children next door, the second time was because my balcony was no longer available, and the third time, they probably got annoyed and upgraded me directly hahahaha, no impatience.
Environment: Everything around is very convenient, including Starbucks downstairs.
(Remember to buy water from the nearby supermarket, water in the room is charged)
GGuest UserMy favorite place to stay when in the area. The man who runs the place is the nicest man in the world ! Very friendly, understanding, and hospitable. The housekeeper is a sweetheart and works very hard and quietly. Cleanest hotel you will find in the state. Highly recommend.
RRUIBreakfast has a buffet waffle, which is not bad, kids love it. It is near Carmel town and the beach. It is worth a visit if you take the No. 1 road. The video is the beach and the photos are the hotel and the town.
AAnonymous UserThe room was spotless, as expected from Red Lion. A nice bonus was the complimentary coffee and bread, available for pickup in the lobby from 7 AM. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with a gas station right next door and a Whole Foods Market directly across the street!
ééGood location, clean small hotel with ironing board and electric kettle. Motels with good facilities in the United States. The 17miles entrance one or two kilometers away is a lot cheaper than living in Carmel
