It is said that this house has a history of nearly 50 years, and the floor is covered. The patina is out. Usually when there are no guests, there will be a lot of sexy internet celebrities to pose for photos. The owner of the grandfather was very nice. He prepared breakfast for us in the morning. We are utterly smitten with Hotel Dena - it has exceeded all our expectations for an artistic, pristine, and laid-back boutique hotel. The hotel was freshly renovated just last year, so every single amenity and piece of equipment is impressively modern. We were arranged in a first-floor ”small loft” room complete with a private balcony - undoubtedly one of the highlights of our entire trip. The hotel's decor is nothing short of captivating, with a cinematic ambiance evident throughout the common areas. From the impeccably styled furniture to the mesmerizing artwork and paintings, every design element contributes to an utterly enchanting atmosphere. In fact, I would unhesitatingly award Dena a rating of 6 out of 5 stars to fully convey my deep adoration for this establishment. If we're ever blessed with the opportunity to visit Los Angeles again, Dena will unquestionably be our top choice. 🌹🌹🌹

The hotel is in a great location. Pasadena is the old wealthy area of ​​LA, with good public security and beautiful scenery. The hotel is located right in the old city center. You can check in the beautiful scenery of Pasadena in ten minutes. You can see St. Andrew's Cathedral when you open the window. It is not too far from LA attractions. The airport is 30-40 minutes away by car without traffic jams, and Universal Studios is only 20 minutes away by car.

The business trip schedule changed, so I booked this hotel at short notice. The price was not low. I was a little surprised when I found it was a motel. Fortunately, after checking in, I felt that the hygiene was OK. It was relatively clean and I could drive my car to the door of the room. Overall, it was OK.

Breakfast in room, a $70 breakfast, they charged $6 for delivery, then added a 20% service charge, and topped it off with a $22 tip (the first two items weren't displayed when I signed for the tip). It seems like moving the breakfast from the kitchen to the room incurred three separate fees, adding over 40% to the bill just to get it done.

The hotel was very enjoyable. Delicious breakfasts, incredible waffles can be made on your own. Also there is coffee without coffee, it was very pleasant. I like the location of the Green Tree, which is near the Del Mar metro station in Pasadena, and convenient for getting to JPL or Caltech. The staff are friendly, the hotel is clean, and they have a nice bowl of fresh fruit available at the check-in. However, I have two quibbles. First, I found the billing to be perplexing. Online travel agencies said I would be charged an extra $5 on site, but in fact I was charged an extra $12.20 (+ a $100 deposit which has not yet been credited back to me). Since I was traveling for work, I needed a $0 balance receipt to document that charge, and the reception staff were unable to provide an appropriate receipt. Second, the room was cold, with air-conditioning set to 64 F when I arrived. I turned off the air conditioning, but I was cold in bed and unable to find a blanket or extra layer. If I stay again, I guess I'll bring my own blankets and will try to book differently (perhaps directly through the hotel) in hopes of getting a receipt that my travel reimbursement folks can process.

The room is quite clean, the facilities are quite complete, the room Wi-Fi is not very good, the hotel is at the end of Colorado Avenue, there is no big shopping center, there is a 7-11 around, walking about three minutes, next to There is a Japanese restaurant, and there are still places to eat. Breakfast is very simple, guests can eat at the in-house, so there is no room for meals.

The hotel is a bit dated but still nice. The room I stayed was okay and there is enough space to move around. The sheets need a little update. The bathroom is nice and spacious.
