Steuben County Hotels with Free Parking.

We stayed at Best Western Plus The Hammondsport Hotel for one night on our way back to Maryland, and it was a wonderful stop for our trip. We planned to visit Watkins Glen State Park the next day, and the hotel’s location was very convenient — it is close to the park, nearby lakes, and the charming village of Hammondsport. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was exceptionally clean and tidy, with high ceilings and a spacious layout. Everything inside the room looked new, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. It was comfortable for our family, and we honestly could not find anything to complain about. The complimentary breakfast was decent, with options including waffles, which was a nice convenience before heading out for the day. Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend Best Western Plus The Hammondsport Hotel to anyone visiting Watkins Glen, Keuka Lake, or the surrounding Finger Lakes area. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Really nice hotel! Very cost-effective, warm, hygienic and clean. There is breakfast. Although there are not many varieties of breakfast, it is enough for the nutritional needs of breakfast! I will choose this type of hotel when I travel in the future!

Price friendly homestay, outdated facilities

We asked for a handicapped accessible room, which we were given. However, the bed was so high that my husband needed help getting on to it. Thank God he is not in a wheelchair. There is no way he could have gotten onto the bed. From what we were told, the height of the bed is company policy??? What a shame as it is close to my daughters college and we would have stayed there many more years thru her 4 years there. Back to the Microtel where they have normal beds!!

Very spacious room. Conveniently located near Corning Glass Museum. Short drive away to dinner options. That's a nearby Thai restaurant called Nine Elephants which serves lovely Thai food.

I was pleasantly surprised by how clean my room was. The service was fine. The only problem I had was late night noise from the room above. I didn’t get much sleep on the first night. I asked for a different room for the second night. The clerk was very accommodating. Slept very well the second night.  There were 3 other customers that first night. I don’t understand why 1 had to be housed right above my room
