We stayed in Astoria Plaza for over a month. We made our reservation well ahead of time and made a deposit (e-transfer) 10% of the total cost of our stay, plus extra cost for the early check-in. Upon checked in about 5:00 a.m., I was surprised when the front desk staff asked us when are we going to settle our account. I said “can’t you see on our reservation that we made a deposit w/c was equivalent to 11 days stay”? We were told that there was no room available yet on the higher floor so in the meantime we were given a room on a lower floor and promised that we will be moved on the higher floor in 2 days. I also asked if we are entitled for a free breakfast that morning, he said No because the cost for early check-in does not include breakfast. Anyway, once we were in our room the phone rang and he said Yes we can have free breakfast at the Astoria Cafe. We found the room on the lower floor was alright so we didn’t bother to be moved on the higher room. We have stayed in Astoria Plaza several times, and we know some staff who have been working there for 10 years or more. We accidentally broke a glass in the bathroom and we asked for replacement but was charged (pesos) to our account. However, the replacement glass was not delivered soon, until the day I talked to the housekeeping guy. I have seen blood or urine stains on the bedsheets. For our long stay in Astoria Plaza, we thought we could get a free transfer to the airport. Unfortunately, we don’t get that benefit so we settled for a grab taxi that was large enough for our 4 luggages and 2 carry-ones. Overall, our over a month stay in Astoria Plaza was pleasant. Our special thanks to Jinky Ching, Mac, Joy, Honey, Diane, Claire, Gella and all the staff in the cafeteria, for looking after us in the morning. 👏 Thank you to the concierge staff, for the free shuttle services to and from MegaMall/Shangrila.👏

We last stayed in Privato Ortigas a few months before the pandemic and I’m glad that we were back and even celebrated my mom’s birthday in Privato Hotel Ortigas!!I really liked their minimalistic room with great design. Its simple but it has everything we need. I loved their ever comfy beds that really made me relax and had a good sleep. But what I really loved about the hotel aside from its marvelous amenities like the pool and roof top bar and deck is their excellent customer service. I highly commend Duty Manager MA. CONTESA VICTORIA M CATUAAN for being hand on in making sure that the client’s requests and well being are addressed. Her sensitivity to PWDs needs such as me really deserved my admiration and respect. I also commend and thank front desk pips Alex and Bless who really assisted me in my reservations and made sure that everything was fine even before I arrived. To Divine who even assisted us up in our rooms to ensure that we are comfortable and if we still need anything else. To Aaron who assisted us when we checked in and helped us have our room in the soonest possible time. lastly, to Marvin/Melvin( I’m aways confused with his name sorry) who was patient every time we call front desk for our requests. It was indeed a wonderful experience and its was a wise decision to be back and we will surely be back very soon! We had a pleasant 2-night stay at Novotel (room only, no breakfast). Service was excellent (they provided a cake for us to celebrate our anniversary, and we asked for late check out which they kindly accepted), The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Good wifi connection if you need to work. The location is great with lots of cafes, restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The gym is open 24/7 (attended 6am-11pm) and there is a steam room but we didn’t use it. The gelato on 1F was pretty good! Couple of areas for improvement: - the walls were thin so we could hear people next door talking, or the shower adjacent to ours - our rainfall shower did not work and there is no shower door so the floor got a bit wet - there are not many amenities available - only body wash, shampoo, hand wash, body lotion, toothbrushes

I stayed at Ibis Styles Araneta so I can get peace and quiet while I finished my book and that was what I got. Although not the typical desk and chair set-up, it really worked for the work I needed to do. The rooms may be on the small size but there was enough natural light that flooded the room and kept me energized during my entire stay. I had a really great time from start to finish. Once I arrived at the driveway, I was already assisted by their staff. Check-in was fast and the front desk staff (Sam) even helped me get my luggage to my room. The room was very cozy, clean, and chill. One of the downsides would have to be the closet since it was just a rod on top of the coffee station and the clothes drop down on the coffee cups. Another downside are the roll-down blinds. If you don't want to be seen outside, you'd have to roll down all the blinds and prevent any sunlight flooding the room. Not a big problem though. Really enjoyed Le Bistro and the Edge Skyview Bar. Very cozy places to just relax. I also love the panoramic views by the rooftop bar. I would really have appreciated it if the buffet and Le Bistro had several vegan food choices. It's a good thing Gateway Mall is right beside the hotel so I was able to eat my meals. I love that they have a water dispenser and provided a water pitcher in the room to make it easier for water refill. The lobby is also a great place to hangout and work in at times. Over all, I'd stay here again.

Berjaya located in the heart of Makati. If ever you need to stay in Makati to do business or just unwind, this hotel would suit you best. It is near the bars and restaurants that are open almost 24/7.

Stayed for one night here. Location is quite okay as it was within walking distance to SM and Market market. There is alsp a 711 store just beside the hotel. However note this hotel is somewhere along the boundary of BGC. We didn't have any problems here. The room is clean. What we liked was the bed was really a ”hotel” bed. The TV is also a bit TV and had a lot of international channels. AC was small but it did provide the right cool temp for sleeping. One thing we noticed is that there were some snacks left in our room's cabinet (chicharon and bucheron). When we checked out, they asked if it was ours. I think this should have already been cleaned before us checking in to the hotel. Water pressure is strong and toilet is clean. But the hair dryer provided to us was not working. Checkout process took us around 10mins as they really check the room. Should be ok if you are not in a rush. Parking is abundant. Around 12 slots on the basement, plus 2 more slots which by default is closed (they might open these slots if needed). There are also some parking slots just outside the hotel. Overall a bang for buck hotel and would recommend!

We just booked the hotel coz its obviously its very near to the hotel and its definitely true its just 5minutes only if no traffic if you dont have any luggages then you can just really walk going to the airport. Pool not that much big but its okay. Very friendly staff. Breakfast buffet is okay too. Love the room design too and u can just see from your window the airport too and airplanes around. I love the AC its cold and super cozy bedsheet and comforter. There are some restaurants at the back of the hotel too.

Stayed one night after visiting Boracay. I emailed them in advance and asked them to pick me up at the airport. It was room of coral wing of bottom category that stayed, but area and comfort are enough, too. There were 2 toilets. When I checked in, I was asked if I wanted a room on the sea side or the fountain side, so I chose the fountain side. After 6:00 p.m., we could see the fountain show that was held every hour from the living room and bathroom of the room. I can't hear the sound that much. The good points of the room are the large space for luggage, where you can go directly from the entrance, where there is a dresser with bright lights, where there is a non-slip at the bottom of the wide bathtub, where there is a bench in the shower room, And so on. The amenity has a good scent and the air volume of the dryer is sufficient. The touch of the bathrobe was also good. I had an early flight the next morning, so I asked the concierge to arrange a grab for me. . It was a reliable service.
