A nice, old hotel, not quite a resort!
This is a very clean but rather old property. Some rooms have nicely renovated bathrooms but this is the exception rather than the rule. Our bathroom was of a generous size and very clean, but the shower cubicle was tiny - I could only just fit in it, but certainly not bend over to was my feet!
We had a problem with the lock on our door and the airconditioning and the staff were able to move us to another room which was very helpful.
The whole hotel is labyrinthine as it has clearly been extended numerous times.
The breakfast and dinner were excellent. Always a good selection in the buffet, with both hot and cold food available for both meals. Soft drinks and wine are included with dinner, but not beer which is a little disappointing. You can buy beer and a variety of other drinks from the bar which is open all day and night.
The pools are very nice. There is a deeper pool which is quite large and a smaller shallow pool for kids. There is no jacuzzi or anything but plenty of sun lounges.
The wifi is only available in the lobby and bar, which seems a bit antiquated these days.
Other than the pool there aren't any other facilities. It would be nice if there was a ping pong table, a billiards tables or a fitness centre (there is certainly space for them).
We enjoyed our time at this hotel and the staff were very helpful and friendly, but I couldn't see us staying more than 4 nights. It could be so much more if the whole place was modernised and they added some more facilities.
