Valentin Somni Hotel & Suites

We have just returned from a wonderful week at the Valentin Somni. From the moment we arrived we loved the hotel, its decor, the rooms, the atmosphere & especially the pool & the outdoor dining area. Its location was perfect for us and we loved Paguera too. But our favourite thing was the staff. They were all friendly, helpful & worked very hard. In particular thank you to Melanie for such a nice welcome on arrival at reception, Christian for his smiley greetings at the restaurant, the two girls who did the activities/entertainment (watching your smiles & energy each day made us happy), the regular life guard at the pool who was so helpful & hard working, our friendly cleaning lady (rooms 216 & 218), & Sebastian in the bar for chatting & laughs on our last night. We were sad to leave & really hope to come back again.

From the minute we arrived at the hotel we were made so welcome by the receptionist, checking in was so easy. We had been upgraded to silver which was an unexpected surprise. Our room was immaculate, airy and being on the ground floor was overlooking the pool area. Breakfast and dinner were buffet style but there was so much choice and everything was so delicious. Every member of staff from cleaning, bar staff and restaurant staff went out of their way to be friendly and attentive.I can honestly say this was the best holiday we have had, plenty activities throughout the day and every evening there was entertainment. Peguera is a stunning area and we certainly highly recommend staying here.

We really loved this hotel. It ideally situated for us as a couple in our mid/late 60s. Yes there's a bit of a hill to walk up or down but it didn't bother us. The beach, shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. We had a standard room but found it to be adequate for our needs. Yes the toilet doesn't leave a lot to the imagination and I could see that being an issue for some. But we just gave each other the required space. The food at the hotel was very good and there was a lot of choice. The service in the restaurant was friendly and professional. My only gripe was the water temperature in the pool. It was very chilly and put us off going in. The sea was warmer. Just be aware that there was a charge of 20€ for two loungers and an umbrella on the beach.

Absolutely amazing hotel. They have got everything sussed. Excellent food, staff & nothing is too much trouble. Staff all seemed really happy in there work. Bar staff a little miserable but that's the only fault I have & tbh I think it's because everyone else went above & beyond expectations with a smile on there face. Cant rate this hotel enough. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Very nice Hotel with a great balcony, cleaning service was super. You can eat your breakfast buffé in the garden which was lovely. Very serviceminded staff. Pool are was great but could be a bit crowdy.

This hotel is outstanding! We returned about a week ago, having had a very relaxing and happy two weeks. The authentic warmth of all of the staff make this a very special hotel and their desire to ensure that their guests have a wonderful holiday and feel comfortable was very much appreciated. I think because the staff were so superb, there was a lovely atmosphere in the hotel. We made fabulous new friends and found guests to be friendly. The white party and the Octoberfest were both so much fun. The organisation was fantastic with plenty of food and drinks. It was brilliant to see the staff joining in and leading the dancing. Thank you for these. So many people have already detailed the wonderful entertainment, the great location (the resort is fabulous) and the excellent food, environment and facilities and we totally agree with all of those observations. As we were there for two weeks, we booked a Silver room which was very nicely furnished and spacious with a jacuzzi bath and a great shower. Thank you to all the staff. Here are just some of them who helped to make our holiday so fantastic but thank you all: Sebastian, Veronica and Canuete (bar), Alexandro (lifeguard), Raphael (who gave us such a warm welcome on arrival at reception), Javier, Anna (also reception) who told us about Cala Fornells and the best way to walk there (a stunning bay), Claudia and Laura (entertainment - so much fun), Fabiano and Dahline and Veronica, Christian and Miguel(restaurant - so welcoming), Isabella (the lovely lady who cleaned our room so superbly) and the chefs who sang and danced! The only suggestion for improvement would be to have restricted smoking in the entertainment area,or at least a separate smoking area so that everyone can be comfortable whilst watching the entertainment. Thank you to your excellent staff for a truly wonderful and memorable holiday. We are missing you and hope to come back again (something we rarely do).

Fantastic hotel ,quite during the day with relaxing music.Night time entertainment was really good and staff your very friendly. A short walk took us into the heart of the resort with lots of bars and restaurants .What I liked about this place is the different nationalitys Perfect place to visit

Well what a hotel !!!!! Start to finish was just magic - everything was perfect The hotel is absolutely immaculate and has everything we needed We were bed and breakfast and the food was plentiful from cereals to fruit yogurts to every bread there is cheeses Hams and then full English breakfast - also omelettes made while you wait - all delicious!!!! Hotels up a slight incline from town but the walk was needed after all the food consumed !!! Paguera is a lovely town shops cafe’s restaurants pubs bars all plentiful Can recommend the Indian - Gateway to India and also the Thai restaurant We had a perfect holiday Thank you for our lovely room too it’s was wonderful - we had champagne in our room to celebrate my husband’s retirement was such a lovely gesture - thank you Valentin Somni A hotel that is highly recommended
