Pernera Hotels with Bars

Just returned from this hotel it was our second visit . Great welcome on arrival instantly acknowledged our return stay . Booked a part sea view room and got a lovely pool/sea view room with a wonderful gift and thank you note for returning to the hotel this was a great personal touch. The staff throughout the hotel are very helpful special mention to Maria, Mariana and Mr Sam in the restaurants so helpful and greeted everyday with a smile these staff are a credit to Pernera Beach Hotel. Food throughout all restaurants was excellent great quality and selection available. For an all inclusive we also enjoyed the drink on offer nice cocktails and beer selection. Entertainment team worked hard to keep guests happy obviously what’s on offer is not to everyone’s taste but every day there was something organised for the guests. The beach was lovely soft sand and clear waters never felt crowded. The hotel is kept very clean to all areas. This hotel offers great value for money we would recommend this for couples and families also great for a wedding venue. We will certainly consider returning to this hotel.

What a fabulous surprise from start to finish. We arrived at 1.30am in the morning and were greeted with a friendly smile and glass of champagne. Check in was quick and easy. We travel a lot and our room was wonderful, one of the best we've stayed in. Very modern, a good size, a large balcony and with a seaview which we weren't expecting. All very clean. The hotel is kept spotless in every area, staff are all attentive and want you to enjoy your stay. Stayed B&B and loads of choice for breakfast, we had something different each day. Ate out in the evenings as we always do on holiday, but the restaurant looked very nice and was laid out lovely. I really cannot fault this hotel. It has such a nice calming relaxing feel to it and we absolutely loved it. We will definitely return. Outside, there are lots of good restaurants within easy walking distance without going into Protaras itself, and there's a lovely promenade to walk along by the sea. Local buses are good and cheap if you want to go into ayia napia but the hotel is such a lovely area to stay in. We rarely go to the same hotel twice but the AT Herbal, will definitely be an exception. Already recommended to friends and cannot wait to return

This hotel is completely renovated, everything is new, and super clean against coronovirus issues. The hotel is situated only 3 minutes walk from the beach. Is also withing walking distance of 10 minutes from the Protaras center where are many restaurants, pubs and clubs. Is also 3 minutes away from the Protaras wooden path which is constructed right by the seashore. The staff is super friendly and the owner and the manager are at all times available to talk with you. They are very extremely friendly and they do their best to help you. Great service.

We're a couple that arrived at this hotel evening 24th of august. This review is written after staying here for 2 days of our 7 days vacation. We could strongly recommend no one to book at this hotel. It says its a 4 star hotel, but in reality its more 2 stars, and 3 and a good day. First of all, this place has no care for basic hygiene/avoiding transferable diseases. They fill up the water bottles at the bars, by placing the whole mouthpiece (the end of the hose connected to the dispenser machine) into each water bottle. Many diseases contracted when on vacation (like diarea, food poisining etc) are spread by droplets. Same goes for worse diseases like meningitis. We've tried to speak with the staff twice about this, but they dont care and understand why this is a problem. Today at our lunch all the plates were dirty, with obivous peaces of food left over on both sides. We again contacted the staff and what seems to be the manager at the buffe, but he didnt understand the problem either. The staff ended up using napkings removing the stains and giving the plates to customers. When we arrived we were welcomed with one 1,2L water bottle (and 3x cans 330ML of sugery soda) in our fridge. When were finished unpacking and settling, we contacted the reseption to ask where we could get more water or buy more water. Keep in mind we're on a all-inclusive holiday. As it were just passed midnight, the bars were closed. Theres no way to get water at this after midnight, we asked if there was anywhere we could buy more water, but he said all markeds were closed as well. He offered us two glasses, as if were gonna drink the worm water from the sink. Again, no care for travellers with a different gut biom - As scandinavians we cannot drink water from the sink in quite a few countries. Back at our room we found out that one quilt were missing. We again contacted reseption, but they didnt have any extra, so we got a thick-double blanket. However they out of blankets for quilts too, so that was a pleasent first day. In general the hotel is worn, and seems to lack decent upkeep. Theres a lot of damages and worn pieces at the room and around the facility. The food can be explained as mediocre - Its alright youll have a decent meal, but dont expect too much. Most fish seems to be breaded (its usually only one fish choise per dinner/lunch serving), and the steak, chicken, pork and vegetables are overcooked/overgrilled. The choise of salads seems great thou. Not a good choise for baguettes/bread etc, mainly white and few choises. During the lunch/dinner the dispensers for getting water is shut off and you have to get served by this only woman going around like 80 tables to get served. Usually we're half way through our meal before we even get something to drink. So we bring our own water to the tables (that we buy). Normally I would wait til we leave to review the Hotel, to make sure i've seen everywhere 1st, however, this is quite a small Hotel, so it hasn't taken long to settle in and find our feet. We're here until Tuesday 1st October... 1st of all I can't fault the Staff, they're all so friendly and helpful.  From Reception to Cleaners, and everyone inbetween, they all have a lovely smiles and have been happy to help with any requests.  All staff seem to just chip in and do whatever is needed at the time... On arrival to our room (23:45) we had a Sandwich, and a bottle of water in the Fridge waiting for us, as it was too late to have food from the restaurant, this was welcome and to be honest all we needed, a meal at that time would of been wasted...and it gave us extra time to get unpacked before bed. Our room was spacious, with Bedroom, Shower/Toilet and Lounge all separate, the Balconies are small but big enough to have a sit down drink and a chat in the mornings/evenings before heading out. There are two large wardrobes, one with Safe, Hairdryer, Iron and Ironing board. A fridge to keep any drinks/snaks in, this is not stocked daily, if you want you can buy items from the local Supermarket and fill it yourself though... All sockets are same as in England, 3 Pronged, however, one small issue you might find, if you also have a Electric Toothbrush/Shaver is there is no power point anywhere so you need to bring the correct two pronged adapter.  This shouldn't of been a problem for me as I Charged it before I came out, it must of switched on in my case as it was dead when I got here, so I then neded to go and buy one, (the Lady at Reception did have a spare one, but it didn't fit my plug) it was only 3€ from the local Supermarket so not a major problem, just something to think of before you come out. The 1st full day was a lovely 29 degrees, with no clouds, and a light breeze which was fantastic after the last two summers we've had in the UK with about 12 days of decent weather combined!! Restraunt This is Buffet Style for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner but it's high quality Buffet not like what you find back home at the Airport Lounge! Bars There's two Bars, one on the Grass area near the Seafront and the other inside where the Buffet is both are well stocked and have knowledgeable staff that will happily serve whatever you ask for. Breakfast was very nice, with all the usual selections on offer, as well as some nice surprises... Again great service from the staff, who couldn't be more helpful. Lunch was fantastic, great selection on offer throughout our stay considering how small the Hotel is, it changes every day and caters for everyone's needs and the attentive staff, keeping you topped up with drinks during your meal. Evening meal is usually a specific theme like Mexican night, Italian night, etc but again each night has a fantastic selection on offer, our favourite was Italian night the the Risotto and the Beef Stew were lovely!  Al
