Room was great, could have done with an extra pillow but that's personal preference. Corridors constantly smelt of burning or curry, we were told this was from the uni accomodation that was in the same building but wasn't very nice.
Cool social spaces but the kitchenette was gross and a massive let down. Not even a hob to boil water, just two dirty air fryers and 2 microwaves, very little prep space and or utensils etc. With the investment in the rest of the building, this could be much improved.

Just solo traveller stayed for 3 nights in 4-bed room with bathroom. Good location and quiet surroundings. 24hours reception. Providing towels but needed to make bed by myself. No shampoo or body-wash. Apparently many long-term residents.

The mixed bed dorm is spacious and mostly clean. You do not know in advance if you are in the upper bed or down bed. The lobby is nice if you need to spend some time working or waiting for your flight. There is also a bar with sandwiches and beer. Overall, a very nice experience, even if a little overpriced if you book with little advance like I did.

The room was small. Donโt expect a big room. The water heater was good I must say! Do not have to worry about worrying to bathe in cold water during winter. The sink layout was impossible to use without wetting the floor at all!! All in all a simple clean room with 24h check in and luggage storage. Location was a 5 mins walk to the Perth station! Very convenient! Nothing to complain about except the sink I must say ๐ oh yes, pls bring hangers. There was rly no wardrobe to hang our clothes ๐คฃ

Great location, close to the train station and city centre, bedding very clean, kitchen dirty and without stove.
The bathrooms inside the rooms are not cleaned ( shower very dirty) only change the garbage every morning

AVOID. I booked the wrong date by mistake, tried to cancel less than a minute after I paid and showed them proof I wouldn't be in the country for the booking, and they refused to let me cancel or offer a refund. When I contacted Trip customer service they told me there's nothing they can do because the hotel said they don't want to give the money back, even though it would be impossible to use the room - what a scam.
Not allowing even a 5 minute window for cancellations/refunds in case a customer makes a mistake is crazy.

Location was easy to find and accessible to mostly places. Appreciate the clean bedding and towel. Room was spacious enough and had sufficient luggage storage spaces. Thereโs a large & cosy co-study/working/living space with billiard tables and projector screen.
Sleeping areas are pretty secured with keycards so one can be less concerned with external entry.
There is a kitchenette that allows guests to store their food in big fridges and sufficient amenities like microwaves and toasters. Itโs a pity that some guests are not responsible in washing up after use. The hot water dispenser wasnโt working for the few days I was there so many guests heated drinking water with the microwave.
Possible improvements: I wish a hostel with such high turnover could consider to provide shared shampoo and soap in the showers, and have a machine that sells washing detergent pods. Definitely would help to reduce loads of single-use disposable waste.
