The front desk and Trip.com concierge were warm and thoughtful, proactively helping with our luggage. The complimentary fruit platter was of high quality. Both the first and second floors of the LOFT were equipped with toilets, which was convenient for guests staying on the second floor. The room facilities were complete, and there was a balcony on the first floor where we could enjoy the sunset. The room initially only came with two towels and two bath towels. Although we called the front desk and had two more sets delivered later, it would be better for a quadruple room to be fully equipped from the start.

NiniaichinaigedaThis is the guesthouse I booked when I went to Sayram Lake with my parents. The environment exceeded my expectations, and my parents were very satisfied. The location was easy to find, parking was convenient, and there were guesthouses all around. I was also quite lucky; we even caught a party event in the square next door, with thousands of people having a bonfire and dancing – it was so much fun! We booked a triple room, with each person having their own bed, and the beds were very comfortable. The owner and the receptionist were very friendly and even helped with our luggage – thumbs up! 👍 After comparing several places, I think this one was great value for money! Unfortunately, we got back too late yesterday and just video chatted with my friends, so I didn't take any pictures.

Guest UserI read all the reviews before booking, and it turns out I made a great choice. I stayed in both the large and small yurts. They were very clean, had no strange odors, and the heating stove kept them nice and warm. From the mountain, you get a panoramic view of Sayram Lake. In the mornings and evenings, when most people are out, you can enjoy a quiet and leisurely stroll. There's a shepherd dog who loves to be petted and a lively kitten, plus herders grazing their livestock nearby, making for a truly immersive experience. If you don't want to use the dry toilet, you can go to the public restrooms in the scenic area downhill, which are very clean. Hot water is available for washing, and it's especially convenient if you're driving as you can easily go back and forth. The owner's cooking is indeed delicious; the humped salmon was particularly tasty. The prices are a bit higher, but I found them acceptable, considering it's a scenic area. Overall, it's perfect for anyone who values experience, though perhaps not for germaphobes, as they are yurts after all.

It was my first time staying in a yurt, and it was a novel experience. The dormitory-style bed was advertised as a six-person room, but it was big enough for ten people. The children were very happy, doing somersaults and rolling around on it. It was cold at night, but there was a stove inside, which made it more comfortable. In the morning, there was a service where cattle and horses would ”wake them up.” The owner's Kazakh potatoes were delicious, but the mutton soup was a bit too fatty; I only drank half of it. Overall, it was a pretty good experience.

I was traveling with my parents, and I specifically asked for a quiet room. However, we were placed next to a room where people played mahjong all night, and my elderly parents barely got any sleep. I thought the room was 40 square meters, but it turned out to be 40 square meters spread across two floors (a duplex), and the owner told me it was 'usable area,' not 'room area.' This is the first time I've ever heard of a hotel listing 'usable area' – I'm speechless! On the positive side, the staff's attitude was quite good, and the hotel is very close to the scenic area with lots of snacks nearby. We checked out a bit late after exploring, and they even extended our checkout time for free, which was nice. It's also very close to Sayram Lake, making it super convenient for watching the sunrise.

Old MAKThis hotel is located outside the Sayram Lake scenic area and appears to be newly opened, as the facilities are incredibly new and clean. The property is quite large, primarily offering two types of accommodations: RV-style 'space capsule' rooms and small cabins. We initially booked a space capsule RV, but the front desk upgraded us to a cabin, claiming it was larger with two separate rooms, two bathrooms, and a living area in between. While the cabin was new and tidy, personally, I felt the space capsule RV would have offered a more futuristic and modern feel.
If you're driving, you can park at the hotel's front desk or drive closer to your unit. Our room was near the restaurant and coffee shop, and even after closing hours, there was minimal noise despite people passing by.
We had dinner at the hotel restaurant on our first night. The dishes tasted good, but the wait was excessively long. For just a few simple dishes, we waited almost an hour. What's more, we had informed the restaurant of our dinner reservation right after check-in, so they should have had ample time to prepare. This long wait was simply unacceptable. While waiting, I also noticed other guests leaving due to the extended delays. We repeatedly urged the staff, but their helpless expressions made it hard to fully blame them. However, I truly hope the hotel improves this aspect, as it significantly detracts from the overall experience. We had planned to eat early and explore the surroundings, but by the time dinner was finally served an hour later, it was already late at night, making it impossible to enjoy the hotel's amenities.
The hotel also offers a buffet breakfast at the same location. There's a good selection, but even before breakfast officially ended, we saw most of the staff coming to get food boxes, eating the same breakfast as us. Although we were almost finished, when we went back for more, there was very little food left, which was disappointing. While I appreciate the hotel's good treatment of its employees, allowing them to share the same meal choices as guests, I suggest they have their breakfast after guests have finished. It feels a bit off to pay a relatively high price for accommodation and then have to share breakfast with staff before the service time is even over, especially given the hotel's higher pricing, which comes with higher expectations.
The hotel's coffee shop has a strong design aesthetic and is perfect for Instagram. Unfortunately, the coffee prices were quite high, so we didn't make a purchase, simply taking some photos before leaving. However, if you have time, it would be a very comfortable place to relax for a while.

Sailimu Lake stayed for two days, and it was convenient to travel in the visitor center. I have to say that this decision is too wise! Sailimu Lake is beautiful every day during the day, and it is very quiet at night.
The room is a very warm little loft, everything is very clean, stayed for two nights and slept very well, the room has floor heating and air conditioning, don't worry about temperature problems.
There are places to eat nearby on foot, but the scenic spot is really nothing delicious. The boss also has a cute puppy, we will miss it here.

The rooms are clean and tidy, the service is warm and attentive, and the amenities are complete. It's convenient for watching the sunrise and sunset, and you can see the starry sky just above – what a beautiful place!

The food served here was, without a doubt, the best I've ever had in my life. As for the accommodation, it was a truly pastoral experience – primitive yet charmingly simple. It offered a rare opportunity to step back in time and experience the rural conditions of water, electricity, and restrooms from the 70s and 80s. At night, the sky was ablaze with twinkling stars, the vast grasslands stretched endlessly, and the horses frolicked happily. The host would play his Dombra, singing songs about his beloved, while the hostess, shy yet industrious, attended to everything. Though the prices were comparable to typical tourist attractions, the entire experience felt priceless – something money simply can't buy! To reiterate: it's genuinely primitive and unassuming, and the hosts are incredibly honest and sincere. I highly recommend choosing this white yurt; you won't regret hearing the host play his Dombra and share his stories!

Staying in a yurt at Sayram Lake is an absolute treat! Not only do you get to witness the stunning golden sunrise over the mountains, but you also get to savor incredibly authentic Kazakh cuisine. The owner's hand-grabbed lamb, milk tea, and roasted meat are all phenomenal – so fresh and delicious. Enjoying a warm, home-style meal after watching the sunrise just fills you with so much joy! 🥩 The yurt's location is fantastic; step right out to breathtaking lake and snow-capped mountain views. After dinner, a stroll along the lake, with the breeze blowing, is pure bliss! The accommodation is also very clean and comfortable, and the service is incredibly thoughtful. Highly recommend!
