Best Pet Friendly Hotels in Lanzhou

This is the second booking I made with their hotel. I was given a free upgrade with a more spacious room. I highly recommend a bigger room with a window for comfort. The reason I returned due to the close proximity to convenience (e.g.subway, railway stations, bus stations, restaurants/eateries and shopping centres). The famous Ma'an beef noodle shop and Gansu Museum are within walking distance. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel if you stay in Lanzhou.

The hotel has a good location and the service is very considerate. Attitude is everything. They asked about the children as soon as they entered and gave them slippers and toothbrushes. They also prepared a small gift for the children when they returned. This is a hotel worth recommending. The parent-child room is very cost-effective. The experience is awesome!

A great hotel for the price. The location is fantastic, right next to Exit D of Xiguan Subway Station, adjacent to Zhangye Road Pedestrian Street, and within easy reach of Muta Alley Snack Street and Dazhong Alley Night Market. I expected a noisy stay in such a place, but the room was surprisingly quiet. Upon chatting, I discovered the owner had put a lot of effort into noise isolation, resulting in excellent soundproofing. The room resembles the design of the Atour Hotel, with smart curtains and toilets. The toilet itself is particularly impressive; it's as comfortable, convenient, and fully automatic as my own at home. The towels are all disposable, clean, and reassuring. I accidentally lost my room card while visiting the night market, but the owner, true to his Northwest roots, generously didn't fine me. I felt really bad about it, thank you!

The hotel is located in an area close to the walking street, shops, restaurants and entertainment venues, quite convenient and easy to find food. There are souvenir shops nearby. The room is smart, the bathroom is clean. The staff is quite attentive to foreign tourists, recommending local restaurants and giving directions. The staff can barely speak English, but using a translation app makes communication difficult.

Good service, super enthusiastic boss, good location, good environment

I stayed in this hostel for a total of 5 nights, with two breaks when I went on tours outside of Lanzhou. I have put in reviews earlier, so this is my final for the hostel that had begun to feel like Home. The hostel itself is very comfortable a stay: clean, comfortable wide bed with sliding door for privacy, nice seating areas... It is run by a family who take turns staying over so that there is 24 hour reception. All are friendly and kind, especially the father. The parents don't speak English but you can easily use a translation app; other guests will probably interact with you. The location: it is situated about a 5 minute walk to the Yellow River Tower, and a further 10 minute walk to the Lanzhou Old Street area where there is an amazing array of food options. Just outside the hostel is a Halal (Muslim-run) restaurant called (Ruhua 如华）which the hostel owners say have been in operation for 20 or 30 years. The hand-pulled (手抓) mutton that I had there was fantastic, even though I am typically not a mutton eater --- the taste is a delicate and balanced mix of light spices (I could taste a hint of ginger, for example) and saltiness. And the 八宝茶 is also excellent. A 7 minute walk to the right after exiting the hostel (past the above -mentioned restaurant) to the main road where many buses ply, you will find another good mix of local food options, especially in the morning. The hostel is conveniently located near the Lanzhou West railway station. There is a bus 136 that runs just outside the hostel and gets you to the railway station in 20 minutes. Hope this helps someone deciding on where to stay in Lanzhou, since there doesn't seem such a good range of hostels. I recommend everyone to stay here especially if this is the first time you come to Lanzhou. The hotel located on 9th-10th floor in Yaou department store, opposite of Xiguan subway station. You take the lift of the department store and go directly to the 9th floor to check-in. The staff didn't speak English or some could a little but they would help you kindly and politely. When we asked for doing laundry they did it for us for free. The room was clean and cosy. Since the hotel is in the center of the district you can find everything you need and the zhongshan bridge is about 5 mins on foot.

It was my first business trip to Lanzhou and I had a very good experience at this hotel. The location is good. Downstairs is the Lanzhou Zhangye Road Commercial Street, diagonally across from the Dazhong Lane Xinguang Night Market, and about 200 meters ahead is the Zhongshan Bridge check-in spot by the Yellow River. The room is fully equipped with smart Xiaodu control throughout the house. The mattress is a good place for sleeping, the room is clean, and the service attitude is good. Overall, I am satisfied with the experience. I will stay at this hotel again when I go on a business trip to Lanzhou. It is convenient for eating, drinking and shopping nearby. I recommend it.

Generally satisfied, but foreigners' accommodation is not very recommended. Since it is a general condominium, the entrance to the site is difficult to understand, and the entrance door of the building cannot be opened without a pass code except for one place. I didn't know where to check in, and when I went to room 3304, which was described only in the Trip.com app, a man who contacted the owner came out and managed to meet the owner. It is salvation that the owner was a very good person. The room was on the top floor and the view was very good. However, there is no air conditioner described in the equipment, and I think it will be a lot hot during the summer day. The private room, bus and toilet are not very clean, but I felt it was reasonable considering the price. Overall, I don't think it's particularly bad except check-in compared to hotels in the same price range. The bus stop is almost in front of you and can walk to Lanzhou West Station. Restaurants and supermarkets are also nearby, and it is a very good location if you use Lanzhou West Station.

The size of the room matches the picture description and the quality of the daily necessities is poor.
