Best Pet Friendly Hotels in Lanzhou

This is the second booking I made with their hotel. I was given a free upgrade with a more spacious room. I highly recommend a bigger room with a window for comfort. The reason I returned due to the close proximity to convenience (e.g.subway, railway stations, bus stations, restaurants/eateries and shopping centres). The famous Ma'an beef noodle shop and Gansu Museum are within walking distance. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel if you stay in Lanzhou.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations and deserves a stern review! The location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to transportation and restaurants, making getting around a breeze. The front desk staff were warm and professional, handling check-in and check-out quickly and patiently answering any questions, providing a fantastic experience. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and toiletries were provided—the attention to detail was excellent. The overall environment was quiet and well-insulated, ensuring a peaceful rest. The hotel's hygiene management was impeccable; the corridors and public areas were spotless, a pleasing sight. It offers great value for money, suitable for both business and leisure travel. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area, and I highly recommend it!

I stayed in this hostel for a total of 5 nights, with two breaks when I went on tours outside of Lanzhou. I have put in reviews earlier, so this is my final for the hostel that had begun to feel like Home. The hostel itself is very comfortable a stay: clean, comfortable wide bed with sliding door for privacy, nice seating areas... It is run by a family who take turns staying over so that there is 24 hour reception. All are friendly and kind, especially the father. The parents don't speak English but you can easily use a translation app; other guests will probably interact with you. The location: it is situated about a 5 minute walk to the Yellow River Tower, and a further 10 minute walk to the Lanzhou Old Street area where there is an amazing array of food options. Just outside the hostel is a Halal (Muslim-run) restaurant called (Ruhua 如华）which the hostel owners say have been in operation for 20 or 30 years. The hand-pulled (手抓) mutton that I had there was fantastic, even though I am typically not a mutton eater --- the taste is a delicate and balanced mix of light spices (I could taste a hint of ginger, for example) and saltiness. And the 八宝茶 is also excellent. A 7 minute walk to the right after exiting the hostel (past the above -mentioned restaurant) to the main road where many buses ply, you will find another good mix of local food options, especially in the morning. The hostel is conveniently located near the Lanzhou West railway station. There is a bus 136 that runs just outside the hostel and gets you to the railway station in 20 minutes. Hope this helps someone deciding on where to stay in Lanzhou, since there doesn't seem such a good range of hostels. The hotel lobby is on the fifth floor of the mall. You need to enter from the elevator entrance next to it. The surrounding environment is not very good, especially the parking lot behind is crowded and messy, but there are many advantages. The room is relatively large and clean. The facilities are new. Downstairs is Zhangye Commercial Street, where you can walk to Zhongshan Bridge, the Yellow River Scenic Line, and the night market. It is also convenient to take a taxi or subway to the railway station. It is especially suitable for friends who are short of time and pursue high cost performance when visiting Lanzhou.

I recommend everyone to stay here especially if this is the first time you come to Lanzhou. The hotel located on 9th-10th floor in Yaou department store, opposite of Xiguan subway station. You take the lift of the department store and go directly to the 9th floor to check-in. The staff didn't speak English or some could a little but they would help you kindly and politely. When we asked for doing laundry they did it for us for free. The room was clean and cosy. Since the hotel is in the center of the district you can find everything you need and the zhongshan bridge is about 5 mins on foot.

Service attitude is very good, accommodation is not bad

It was my first business trip to Lanzhou and I had a very good experience at this hotel. The location is good. Downstairs is the Lanzhou Zhangye Road Commercial Street, diagonally across from the Dazhong Lane Xinguang Night Market, and about 200 meters ahead is the Zhongshan Bridge check-in spot by the Yellow River. The room is fully equipped with smart Xiaodu control throughout the house. The mattress is a good place for sleeping, the room is clean, and the service attitude is good. Overall, I am satisfied with the experience. I will stay at this hotel again when I go on a business trip to Lanzhou. It is convenient for eating, drinking and shopping nearby. I recommend it.

Every day after returning from a trip, the front desk would call me to check if my room card still worked. The excuse was: the system was unstable, and when it crashed, the data would be cleared, and I might need to re-authorize the room card. This continued for several days, and I got annoyed. I complained a few times, but the receptionist on the 18th was rude, acting like guests owed her money. If a hotel's operating system is unstable, you should investigate the cause and upgrade the system. Why bother calling guests every day to check if their room card still worked? If you can't even handle this, what kind of hotel are you running? Also, when I showered, water would overflow along the wall next to the shower, flowing past the two bedside tables and onto the curtained wall on the other side. This meant the overflow would permeate the entire room. After careful observation, I discovered there might be a problem with the hotel's drainage system, or perhaps the sealant on the bottom of the shower wasn't properly applied, causing the shower water to overflow and not drain away properly. All in all, it's a bit bizarre, so if you're planning to stay here, choose carefully.

This homestay is cost-effective and the rooms are clean and tidy. Although there is no air conditioning in all the rooms, it is still acceptable for short-term stays. Because I personally like this kind of home feeling, I feel it is very warm, just like returning to my own home, and living very comfortably. However, given the advice of some reviews, if you are looking for more facilities and comfort, a hotel might be a better choice. After all, there is nothing particularly amazing here, it is more of a simple and comfortable living experience. Because of the special date, I was unable to book a room the next day, which shows that this B&B is still very popular. If you like this kind of living and warm environment, you might as well give it a try.

The size of the room matches the picture description and the quality of the daily necessities is poor.
