Best Hotels near National Museum of Cambodia, Phnom Penh

This place has the best view in Phnom Penh. Team is extremely nice and kind, bed is comfy, room is spacious and feels like a cool studio with microvawe and water dispencer. Breakfast is good. I havent had a chance to swim but pool is very cool. However it is full of cockroaches. If one person mentioned this in their comments i wouldnt stay at this hotel. Not just one or two. I killed 15 16 teenager and 5 baby cockroaches. Didnt have a chance to meet parents. A friend of mine was staying another room and he left the hotel earlier and said there were even cockroaches in his pillow. So sad cockroaches took over the place!

An unfortunate experience, I found myself in the worst situation dealing with M Residence, as on the day of my check-in, the Sale Manager Vincent neglected to inform the receptionist about my booking, and instead of booking online for a fair rate, they wanted to charge me 50 USD per night, when it was only 24 USD online. Because the receptionist was new and unfamiliar with the process, she had to validate each step with her manager. It took me 45 minutes to check-in. The whole thing felt sketchy because I had to pay 130 USD with tax instead of 72 USD online with Airbnb small tax it would have cost max 86 USD if I recall. Anyway, I paid and received a very small room with hardly working air conditioning and filthy elevator. The swimming pool was breaking apart, and it appeared that the structure was inadequately maintained. There was no pool attendant, and no PH and CL analysis of the chemicals in the pool was available. The entire establishment is a shambles, and they definitely lack hospitality skills. Anyway I shared some information about my experience with the Manager who told me “The staff are so bad” I wanted to react and tell him that he should invest in training them but I could see there was no point in telling him has he clearly do not hold any sense of hospitality skills… The day before my departure I contact the “Receptionist Supervisor” and asked if I should do my check out now to collect my deposit back as I leave at 5:50 am and she informed to not to worry there is 24/7 staff at the lobby. Of course, the day of my check out there was no staff at the lobby to proceed my check-out so now they are ghosting me over 30 USD refund. In addition to all of this I intended to do a collaboration with the Sales manager upon my arrival a discount or free stay over some pictures which they gladly receive but never gave me proper feedback nor a compensation. M Residence is a disgrace to the hospitality industry in Cambodia. Their unethical practices and scams are not the way to conduct business.

I have just returned from my fourth stay at this hotel, 12 nights, Room 302. Located on Street 172 known as Backpacker Street. A great stay as always, nothing is ever a problem here. Fast check in, no issues. Very comfortable room with everything you need including a safe. Pay a little more and get a balcony room, watch the world go by outside. Good internet connection. On site laundry service. What makes this hotel is the staff: warm, friendly, professional and caring. Everybody speaks English or at least their English is much better than my Khmer. Great location. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the street. Tuk Tuk's just outside the front door. Big convenience store at the end of the street. The Manager kindly gave me a late check out of 3 hours on my last day for no cost. Thank you to everybody at the Silver Mounts Hotel for making my stay so enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel and I can't wait to be back next year.

The fitness center was well-equipped, allowing for a great start to the day or a relaxing session in the evening. The food court boasted a wide selection of cuisines, making every meal a culinary adventure. The internal entertainment provided endless fun without the need to step out of the hotel, and the tax-free shops were a haven for shopping enthusiasts, offering a variety of goods at great prices. In conclusion, the hotel excels in every aspect, from its varied breakfast and courteous staff to its outstanding amenities. It's a place I would recommend without hesitation and look forward to visiting again.

I am a well seasoned traveler who travels frequently for both work and leisure. Let me start by saying that the service at this hotel was great. The staff were warm and welcoming when I arrived with my partner. The gym and pool area are outstanding. As fitness lovers this was great to see. However, there were two things that were really problematic that I must point out. The former being the most pertinent of the two: 1. Cleanliness: One of the towels in my hotel room had been soiled with dry excrement. I was shocked when I saw this and thankfully I spotted it before using it. I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years, but I have never experienced this ever. This was extremely disappointing and immediately changed my view of this hotel. This simply should not have happened. 2. Breakfast: My view here may be more subjective, but I thought the breakfast could have been better. The selection seemed very limited in terms of both food and drinks. I would recommend that they look into this, as competitors in this price range offer a far more varied option. Unfortunately, due the the cleanliness issue this wouldn’t be a hotel I would want to visit again. I do however recognise that mistakes happen. However, the extreme nature of this error was very off putting and ruined our stay.

Wonderful experience - I spoiled myself with the strict belief that I should start the new year aa you end it - in style during my 1 week trip through Cambodia. The Raffles fulfilled all my expectations. Super comfortable king bed with excellent mattress, spacey room with elaborate furniture. Small welcome dessert and for new year a platter with chocolates and macaroons. Service flawless, breakfast excellent and my first buffet in the last 2 years. Great help in regards of getting the necessary PCR test (even offer to use hotel telephone number and address). I couldn’t ask for anything more - this is my 3rd Raffles experience and i am still excited staying there. Combination of traditional and classy with high comfort

The hotel is centrally located near the Royal Palace, other attractions and museums and the promenade at Mekong. It is friendly and comfortable furnished and the staff is nice. Unfortunately, the Round Service (washing, booking of travels, etc.) is not usually written as large as in Vietnam, but where it went, the staff was endeavoured and helpful. And it is vital to try the delicious coffee that is offered below in the hotel.

This is not a hotel but are apartments which offer more space and comfort. Located close to the airport in an area with restaurants and small shops around the complex. There is a coffee shop with food and a small shop within the complex. Nice restaurant in the hotel across the street, reasonable priced and two minute walk. Gym and two large pools available. Breakfast is available in one of the converted apartments. Apartments, especially the one or two bedroom apartments, are large and comfortable. Plenty of space.

Fabulous hotel. The rooftop pool is gorgeous and the gym is ideal. Beautiful views for working out. The rooms are lovely and clean. Location is good as it’s close to the old market. Would stay here again.
