Great hotel, staff very friendly, great location but very busy with local traffic, great food at this hotel, pool was very good also

Amazing location very quiet good good Food and friendly ataff

The whole place smelled like a shrimp boat vomited in a frat house when I arrived. Not sure what happened there but eventually it was more or less cleaned up. However the windowless room i had booked was freshly painted and thus rather toxic with no ventilation. To their credit, they upgraded my room, but felt I shouldn’t have been asked to take a room in that condition in the first place and have to hassle to get it taken care of. I dock them on service for this and the fact that calling the desk would get you nowhere and would thus have to walk the stairs to find the guy playing on his phone. Similarly, no towels for the pool at 11am, so back up the stairs to get my room towels. Pool was cool, but ruined by blasting disco music in the morning. The kicker was they refused my guest. Advertised as ”no kids” hotel I thought this would translate into adult friendly policies otherwise but …nope. Gatekeeping your lifestyle in the heart of Patong. Solo travelers advised to avoid. Maybe couples too, lest they deem you unworthy.

All in all it was a nice stay. It’s in the very center, so if you are planning to party, it’s definitely a good stay. The staff was very nice. It was not the cleanest room I’ve ever stayed but it was fine for the price.

The staff are smiling, helpful, flexible and responsive.

Convenient, close to tourist attractions

We had a golf tour with ten of us stayed at the hotel. It is a great location for nightlife, the service was superb, the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, and the hotel sorted all our travel and tour dinner for us, and the overall food quality was excellent. All round, this is a great hotel and we will be back next year.

I’m currently at this hotel in the last few days of a three week stay. It’s really hard to find fault with this hotel. As others have commented, all the staff here are exceptional, always smiling and attentive. I had breakfast here every morning as well as the occasional lunch and dinner. The food here is very good, well prepared and presented and very reasonably priced. An extensive range of Western and Thai dishes are available. My Thai friend commented on how good the Thai food is here and from a Thai person perspective this is praise indeed. The facilities here are first rate for a hotel in this price bracket. The gym equipment is excellent which I used most days. The sauna is one of the best hotel saunas I’ve ever used. Although the pool is quite small, the water quality is superb. I have professional experience in water quality and I never had any reservations using the pool here. Good quality pool towels are provided free of charge. Room cleaning here is one of the best I’ve experienced and I’ve stayed in literally hundreds of hotels. Daily cleaning was done to a very high standard quickly, quietly and efficiently almost like magic the moment I left my room each morning. I can’t compliment the cleaning staff enough, they are a credit to the hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean everywhere. The Staff are constantly cleaning and do a fantastic job. My room on the ground floor (38) was satisfactory although I was concerned at first as it had no windows to the outside. I hardly noticed that fact after a few days. Storage and clothing hangers was more than enough for two people. The bathroom and shower were excellent and the water was always hot and with good pressure. Tea and Coffee making facilities were provided in my room. The AC was quiet and efficient and I’ve never seen so many plug sockets in a hotel room before. The bed was slightly hard but a topper was provided for me which improved things. Sheets and towels were of good quality. The fridge worked fine and a freezer compartment is included so bring your own ice cube tray if you want ice in your room. A couple of issues which required maintenance were addressed promptly and efficiently. Room service is available and prices seemed the same as the main restaurant which is quite unique. The only minor negative points to my stay here was that the steam room was out of service for the entire duration of my stay. There was noise from building work next to the hotel but nothing the hotel could do about that. At the time of writing this review, the noise has now stopped. I did have an issue with noise from the street late at night for a few days. This was largely due to the rear door to the street next to my room being left open at night. Once I had pointed this out to reception staff they ensured that this door was kept locked at night. The Wi-Fi was a bit of hit and miss. There are several access points with different passwords so make sure you use the best available. I measured

This is a lovely hotel, the staff are very friendly, and very helpful. The hotel is situated perfectly nestled In the middle of Patong, which is prime location for sightseeing and partying. The hotel is also perfect location for taxis and grabs. It has many facilities such as a swimming pool, and a in house restaurant. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone looking at staying in Patong, or Phuket in general.

From the start of my stay the staff were so friendly and helpful, I was always greeted with a smile and the staff treated like a friend. The room was very clean, modern and spacious (I had one of the bigger rooms). The restaurant has a good range of food, which was tasty. The Yorkshire Hotel is located approximately 100 meters from Bangla Rd.

I loved my stay at the Yorkshire Hotel in Patong. The location of this hotel is great as it is walking distance to lots of good restaurants, bars/clubs and markets. The food in the restaurant in the hotel was amazing I would recommend the Tom Yum soup or pineapple fried rice. This was topped off by how friendly and kind all the staff were. This hotel also has a well equipped gym and nice relaxing pool area. I would definitely recommend staying at the Yorkshire Hotel in Patong!

Thieves operate in the gym locker room - beware. They even stole my clothes. Hadn’t been handed in. Staff didn’t even reply to my email. Very disappointing. It’s a shame as a nice enough gym. Just keep everything with you when working out.

I just left The Yorkshire Hotel today and I must say it ticked every box !! All staff were friendly reception very efficient a nice lady from Bristol will give any advice on reception Rooms were simple clean comfy and quiet !! There’s a really nice pool area and sauna The location is fantastic bars right outside centre of action 100m away beach a few mins walk away A nice bar area and food which seemed popular Mix of antipodeans and Brits so plenty of fun at hand I will be going back for sure !!

We came to this restaurant in 2017 when we were travelling Asia and missed our roast dinners and loved it. When we came back to Phuket in 2023 we knew we wanted to come back to The Yorkshire! We each got the beef roast dinner, which comes with a glass of wine which is very good value. The roast dinner is actually so delicious, the Yorkshire’s are great, the beef is so tender and the gravy really tasty, plus a good array of veg. This is coming from someone who makes a great roast dinner herself too 😂 Do not miss this place if you’re looking for a slice of home with a banging roast dinner!!
