Karon Sea Sands Resort & Spa Phuket Reviews

This hotel's location is great; next to Karon beach and central to many things in Phuket. Shops/ Restaurants are withing walking distance. My room was nice, clean and big. Hotel has a small gym and great swimming pool and the breakfast was great too. They also have a small library for reading lovers and a pool table for those that wants to play, with a coffee shop and Irish O'Reilly's bar downstairs. Public bus stop is just outside in the street for travelling the island or going to the airport for 100 Baht. I will come here again.

The hotel was good location but not the beach front. Swimming pool was nice as shown on the website. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious has shower separated from the tub, balcony all rooms, breakfast was ok. The bed was ok, could be more softer. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel - it’s my favourite on Karon Beach .. and we have stayed in 5 different .. especially the Pool Access rooms - 101-104 is deep water, 105 to 110(?) is 0.9m to 1.1m (about 3FT) - and the rooftop bar in the same property is great for sunsets!

Very nice hotel. Everything was perfect, here you will have a nice vacation, I think is in the top locations for Karon Beach, the beach 2-3 minutes away, also plenty of good restaurants and pubs nearby. You can book for activities that take you from the hotel without any problems regarding the location.

Good location, conveniently close to the beach and with some very good restaurants in the vicinity. Rooms are ok, pool has a small bar, enough breakfast options.

All in all a very well-kept and maintained property in an ideal spot in Karon. Lovely, particularly spacious rooms tastefully decorated and furnished in bright tones. I particularly liked the balcony-side glass wall (with a cushy purple lounge sofa/mattress beside it, so cool!!), which lets more sunlight in the room and also adds a stylish touch. Clean bathrooms with a modern walk-in shower and a full-size bathtub. The pool area gets sun all day on a sunny day which may/may not be to your liking, but there's enough of parasols. The pool water temperature was optimal, also the water quality was excellent, no trace of chlorine. Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. So did the A/C. Brand new Samsung TVs with HDMI port. Daily housekeeping does a great job everyday. Considering this is basically a beachfront property with beach access directly across the road, I would say it's an amazing deal overall. Easily one of the best spots if you want a strategic base in Karon. Dozens of restaurants around, 7-Eleven, street-food stalls, even a surf-school is just around the corner! Another extra point is having Karon Circle Roundabout with the Phuket Smart Bus stop is 50meters from the resort's entrance. Hotel also organizes free weekly cocktail parties in Patong if you feel like it. Last but not least, it goes without saying that entire staff was super-polite and very welcoming, both the restaurant staff where the breakfast was served, as well as the reception/housekeeping. Great hotel excellent location very close to all restaurants and bars taxi outside at all times great massage service attached to the hotel beach just across the road it was very clean at all times very big rooms with access to garden area and pool and friendly helpful staff

A very cost-effective hotel. The hotel is opposite Karon Beach. The surrounding area is lively. It is very convenient to turn right after exiting 711. The massage shop downstairs is also a highlight of this trip. The technique is very professional. I will choose it next time.

The hotel has parking space And there is no charge, which is great However, the shower head in the bathroom did not have enough water, causing the water to become too hot. There is no air conditioning in the hotel breakfast area There is insufficient air conditioning in the hotel restaurant where food is collected The butter has melted
