Nice environment and friendly service. Breakfast with great variety. A bit old style but clean. Not far from Patong but taxi or tutu are charging B$400 each trip. Hotel free shuttle trip twice daily is too low the frequence. With the private beach, more water activities such as sailing, fishing and jet skiing are expected, but only snorkeling and expensive subcontracted scuba diving are available.

We were there last July, and we are coming back next week (August 22 🥳). Very peaceful place! Beautiful screnery. What i like the most is they have their very own beach (coast), that is privacy 100%!!

Beautiful hotel located by a private beach amid lush gardens. The setting is stunning with an incredible swimming pool, clean private beach and swim up bar. Breakfast had great choices for everyone. The hotel is about 20 minutes taxi journey to Patong Town and there is very little in walking distance from the hotel, which makes it ideal for families or those wanting a quiet get away, yet shops and nightlife are still only a short journey away. Staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay. I hope that I have chance to return.

The hotel gave us a cake to compensate for the terrible experience we had in the hotel but the cake had a lot of dust stuck onto it so it’s basically inedible. We also booked for the romantic dining place but the place was a huge scam with many insects and food was bad.

We were bitten throughout our stay, though the issue is somewhat manageable with the air conditioning on. However, the real problem was the service. Our room lacked towels, and despite two reminders, we only received them after three hours. The location is inconvenient with no nearby amenities, and the beach is disappointing—no fine sand. The hotel is very outdated, with only one charging socket in the room. Overall, this is a 3-star hotel at best with 1-star service.

This can't be a 5 stars Hotel, It's old, renovated but still old. It is an insect friendly hotel insects everwhere, especially lizards sizes vary. Rooms are not easy accesible was on hill. Using a slow cable car that needs 5-10 minutes of waiting. Its not well maintained when it comes to the air conditioning. Breakfast buffet is the same everyday, and it is outdoor no air conditioning. The price is good but I would rather pay it in something better. Not recommended at all.

Thavorn did not disappoint. If you’re looking for a very relaxing, quiet getaway, this is your place. The staff was exceptional from greeting us when checking in to serving us drinks at the swim up bar. The two restaurants offer a good variety of food but you will want to get off the resort once and a while and their shuttles to Kamala and Patong are limited. There is a great Thai restaurant a five-minute walk away. The pool is worth staying here alone. It’s huge and never feels busy. We will be back!

Overall is excellent the resort. Only problem is the water pressure of the shower head is a bit weak, and the water go through slowly in the sink.

An excellent hotel that you don’t need to go out for whole day. Kids love the zoo and the rock pool! They saw a lot of sea creatures like sea cucumber, hermit crab and little fish. It’s a lovely place that you would like to come back every summer!

We have exceptional experience here! I want to shout out to all the friendly and kind hearted buggy drivers for their patience to drive my elderly mom to and fro from garden view room to entrance . Their care in helping my mom on and off the buggy.

Relaxing good place and nice swimming pool

There was noise and trees being cut down next to the chalet. The cottage was great. The beach is not clean.

Will never try this hotel again, I believe there is serious management issue. The problem from the client was not settled on time with serious delay. The service attitude was so bad. Full of mosquitos. Super disappointed
