Terribly managed hotel, filthy, with cockroaches, badly in need of renovation, a/c didn’t work, phone didn’t work, bad breakfast, avoid! Stayed in the Kyriad Beaune during the same trip and it was as if it was from another hotel chain. For the price you don’t expect much but you expect at least cleanliness….

First appearance of the outside of the hotel was good, receptionist was very helpful and very friendly. On finding our room we were shocked. The room was so very depressing and quite small . Bedside lights didn’t work. The only window had a shutter down on the outside as we were on the ground floor. People were sitting outside drinking so we had to leave the shutter down which made the room constantly in the dark. There was a connecting door into the next room which was unsettling as our connecting door was not locked. The bathroom was big but dirty and the bathroom flooded when the shower was on. Around the shower base was black mould. I think it was a disabled room as there was a disability folding chair attached to the wall. Restaurant was good , food good, beers very pricy. Would not stay here again.

Nous avions réservé une chambre supérieure par téléphone. Un jeune femme très sympathique a pris notre demande en considération, une chambre au calme à l'arrière de l'hôtel au RC. A l'arrivée la chambre réservée supérieure n'est PAS disponible. On nous attribue une chambre standard au 1er !! ?? Nous n'avons pas eu le choix arrivés sur place que d'accepter ! La personne à l'accueil ne comprenait pas pourquoi il y avait eu cette modification. Nous non plus d'ailleurs ! ! La direction de cet hôtel ne respect pas les réservations des clients ! Ils n'ont même pas pris la peine de nous prévenir et nous ont mis devant le fait accompli ! c'est inadmissible ! Le lendemain matin au départ j'en ai fait part au gérant qui bien sûr a fait l'étonné et n'a pas donné d'explications ! Mépris total de sa part ! Apparemment il n'en a rien à faire. Cela ne semble pas être son problème. Les photos sur le site ne correspondent pas à la réalité. Vieille baignoire, usée avec un rideau pas très net. Le WC avec de grosses traces noires. Les chambres sont petites avec une fenêtre basculant vers l'extérieur, sale. Impossible de la maintenir entrouverte. Pour ce qui est du petit-déjeuner les tables n'étaient pas nettoyées de la veille. Le buffet n'était pas approvisionné. corbeilles de viennoiseries vident. Il a fallu réclamer ! pourtant il y avait plusieurs personnes autour du buffet, employés ou pas je ne sais pas. Toujours est-il qu'ils ne semblaient pas concernés. Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel.

We used this place as a stop off while travelling to the south of France on motorbikes. It worked perfect for us. Rooms were clean, but a little on the small side, and a little noisy later at night. Plenty of parking here, and a good selection of restaurants nearby. Don't bother with the beer in the bar though, it wasn't great. If you want to explore the history of Laon though, it's not really walkable.

Our personal experience...The room was shocking, there was mould all around skirting boards. It affected my asthma almost instantly. The toilet was badly stained. We spoke to the manager, he just shrugged his shoulders, said they were full and the only solution was for us to find ourselves another hotel.... so we did !!! The one positive I could see was the resteraunt was clean and prices were fair.

The hotel charged me twice for one night stay and are now refusing to refund the money. The group it is part of have no contact number to discuss the problem only email that achieves absolutely nothing. I would be very careful of dealing with this hotel or for that matter any others in the Louvre group.

l’hôtel dans son ensemble est très vieillot y compris les extérieurs ! Bruyant car en cours de rénovation ! la salle de bain n’était pas très propre ! Le petit déjeuner n’est pas très varié ! si on est pas trop regardant ça peut passer ! le tarif est correct et surtout le personnel sympathique !

Cet hotel est bien situé, à proximité d'une zone commerciale avec restaurants et non loin de la ville médiévale de Laon. Personnel à l'accueil très sympathique. Chambre avec plateau de courtoisie . Salle de bain avec sèche cheveux et baignoire. Bon petit déjeuner très varié
