i arrived 5/30/24 at 6pm and was told my reservation made through and paid for through ******* was cancelled. Even though my itinerary said check in was from 3pm to 3am. Dallas at the time was in the midst of severe storms, DFW was temporarily closed and the hotel experienced a black out. the hotel clerk "found" me another comparable room and i was required to pay over $400 which was said to be "just a hold". I checked out 6/2, inquired about the money on hold and was told it would be released in several days. It is now 6/10 and the money has not been released from the temporary "hold". And the hotel was paid in advance by ******* and again by me. this is very distressing and i am feeling like i was scammed!
