Would have given the villa a 5 but for minor faults such as No Welcome pack which is a nice touch for a villa. Lack of Sun later in the day to the rear of the villa due to its position. My wife thought it could do with a fresh coat of paint, which I thought was down to the fact she had been decorating at Home, so she was sort of Snow blinded. Washing Machine looked like it should be replaced and maybe some more cutlery, but as there only two of us it was not an issue. The rear of the Villa was quite a Sun trap where we sat outside for Breakfast and a Parasol would have been nice. On a more positive side we thought the villa was in a good location from where I walked up Mount Roja early on the Sunday Morning. We had a Car on hire which was probably for the best as you could have walked into the town centre but would be demanding on a blissfully hot day. There seemed to be good Bus and Taxi services locally. All in all, we had a Wonderful time and would not hesitate to stay here again at No 23 which I see some people have given a much more Negative review!

We booked via Jet2Villas for our holiday. It has been a brilliant holiday up until getting ready to come home. We opted for coach transfers due to not feeling comfortable driving in another country. We are required to check out at 10am from our villa with our transfers not being until 7-8 hours later. There are no facilities for left luggage and the villa complex is quite far out of town. I have spoken to jet2 customer services who stated “this is why we advise car hire” and that they cannot facilitate left luggage at one of their hotels or to give an option to take our luggage to one of their hotels that offer in resort check in. We enquired with the villa provider as to a late check out and was told no option of this, even though it is in the welcome pack. I feel that we have been left in the lurch due to not taking the car hire option and we are now a family of 5 trying to find somewhere that won’t charge us an arm and a leg to keep our luggage secure for us. A previous customer advisor had suggested we ask the cleaners if we can leave our luggage in the villa that we would no longer have access to after check out… I’m sure you know what what my answer was to that. Jet2 customer services were very unhelpful and has really put a dampener on our last day. Jet2 need to sort out the villa side of holidays before advertising a great deal. Give your customers an option for late check out or somewhere like one of your hotels as an option for luggage hold.

First stay in Lanzarote and our first stay in a villa. Stayed in a 3 bed single story villa. Great location. On a bus route, no car needed. Villa js everything needed for a relaz9ng stay Few little things that could do with fixing or replacing but these are nothing that impacted on our stay, mostly cosmetic that would make a big difference. Nice and clean, pool man came out regular to rest the pool. We had a great 10 nughts and will definitely return next year!

We stayed in villa 25, and our only very slight fault was the internet was off on a few occasions.....BUT only bothered the kids, they found other stuff to do. Yes there were only two two seater sofas, but plenty of chairs to sit on and relax, and beds to lay on. Furniture was fine, suited the villa, very spacious and had everything we needed for our 2 week stay. Not far from a bus stop which did a circular route if the local area with links at the bus station to PDC, Arreciffe and airport, and Costa Teguise. A small supermarket nearby at a hotel down the road for very basic things and on the 30 bus to town there are bigger supermarkets. Access to rubbish bins via a key pad just outside the complex, as is access to the complex( though problems with gate being open all time we were here) Pool was cool but lovely and refreshing after a hot day, outdoor shower provided too. Villa had washing machine, iron and board, pegs and line( in a little room with half covered roof so clothes could dry) also 6 large pool towels provided aswell as towels in bathroom etc. Excellent all in all, booked through Jet 2. Transfer drop off was to a hotel down the road, we sat for a while on benches as Villa access wasn't until 4 pm.

I agree with the previous review of villa 23 as their were a lot of faults and the description and pictures were obviously of a show house and not what they rent out. The decor was basic, no colourful bed spreads as pictured ,furniture very old and dark , some of the bedside cabinets fell apart as soon as you opened the door the knobs would fall off, cooker very slow and poor kitchen utensils one tea towel, the safe would not work as batteries kept moving and in the end the maintenance guy had to leave us the key. The sofa was very uncomfortable 2 2 seater sofas for a villa for 6 people , no cushions, requires an interior designer as inside is basic and could create a nice villa if they spent some money. The front door lock was loose and could easily be prized open , I’m sure they have noticed this if we did but not done anything about 5his. One of the internal door keys were bent and when pointing this out there seemed little concern from maintenance man. The television would not work and it was a faulty free view box and the replacement was no better with a poor signal that kept breaking up. The pool was good but promises to come and clean it every 2 days did not happen and dirt would soon be on the bottom from the overlying tree. Only on our last day did he come to thoroughly clean the pool but no check on the chlorine levels were done on the 3 times the maintenance guy came. Came back one day to find the kitchen and bedroom windows open , cleaners had left these open , the kitchen window hard to close and the maintenance man called again. He spoke little English , had no charm and ignored us most of the time. There were 2 en-suites the bedroom in the annex at other side of the kitchen appeared newer with a nicer en-suite and walk in shower with solid furniture. All the beds were comfortable , plenty of wardrobe space and coat hangers. The pool was not heated most of the time and on the last day the electric box was opened and a switch turned on and warm began to flow through ( obviously for the new people) no doubt this will be turned off again. The villa and complex is a couple of Km,s away from the resort and nothing around there, a car is needed, avoid the Virginia oasis supermarket , bought essential items including milk and the Spanish owner distracted us trying to sell us a toothbrush and as we turned around they must have placed milk under the counter as it was not in the bag we had packed when back at the villa. I returned to claim the milk but they said they did not understand. This was amongst social housing and locals were stood around congregating outside and it seemed a little intimidating. It was good that it was very quiet as a lot of villas around were empty. The complex is gated but you have to ring when arrive at the gate for the code but the phone was not set up for Spain , it was only the taxi driver who helped us contact the owner. No codes were given in the booking literature.

We arrived at Villas Blancas in the second week of January, the villa at no 23 was very spacious and clean. The bathrooms were fairly modern and the bedrooms neat and tidy. The lounge has very dated dark wooden furniture and the two two seater settees were far too small for what is supposed to be accomodation for 6+ people. For what is supposed to be a self catering villa the kitchen is a disaster, the oven is a joke, the fridge freezer needs replacing and the toaster and kettle are cheap, there are not enough cooking utensils ie wooden spoon whisk etc. The washing machine was patched up and an outside airier should be provided to dry and air the towels. The pool was ok but the garden could look a lot better and the garden furniture could be improved, if the owners actually spent two or three thousand more euros on this property it could be amazing.

My family have just enjoyed a great week at Villas Blancas (Villa 38) 4 bed Villa - really liked the gated complex and received a good service from the management company. Size and space of Villa was excellent, pool area was great and exactly what we wanted. Definitely needed a hire car but this suited us and gave my family the opportunity to get out and about. I would have given this review 5 stars but only minor criticism was there was only two sofas in the living area for a villa that sleeps 8 .. relaxing in the villa on a night was a bit tight but I do feel I’m being a picky with this criticism. Overall this Villa was great value for money and I wouldn’t hesitate in staying here again.

We booked via Jet2 after previous visit in 2019. This time we were allocated villa 47. We arrived around 3pm after landing at 11.30am (visiting Play Blanca to kill time whilst awaiting our villa). On arrival we were greeted by the local Basil Fawlty who took the pleasure in advising us we could not yet check in unless we paid him 40 euros in cash! I asked him if the villa wasn’t yet ready but he said it was. Has I was not prepared to hand over the cash for the sake of an hour we decided to get back in the hire car and return. It appeared that this money would be going straight in to his back pocket. We feel this is ridiculous as on checkout day you have to be out by 10am so you really lose a day! We returned later to find the villa clean and acceptable. However this villa was tired and in need of maintenance! The little things such as lights not working over the terrace area, lack of kitchen utensils and work area. Fridge door not opening fully due to being too close to the door, patio door not sliding open, leaking pool, leaking toilet, leaking shower door over bath, no wardrobes in 2 rooms and overall extremely rude maintenance man (our Basil (well that’s what we called him). Then on top of this expensive perfume of my wife’s broken during cleaning of villa, cleaner contacted Basil who cane to inform us but of course no apology from him! However we still had a great holiday and the villa was adequate (but over priced for what we paid - there are better deals out there!) location is good and lovely and quiet but you do need a car. When booked we were advised 4 bedrooms with 1 upstairs but this was not the case so disappointed as our previous stay at number 28 4 years before was far superior. Would return to Playa Blanca but unlikely to use this complex again after this visit.
