Labranda Alyssa Suite Hotel

Really great stay, very relaxing, kids loved it. Food was very nice but a bit repetitive. Plates didn't always come out clean, quite often short on glasses but were on a quick turn around. Very friendly staff, always polite and helpful. Would definitely look at either going back here again or one of their other hotels in a different area.

We are a family of 4 with a 9 year old and a 7 month old baby. This is our first trip away since our baby daughter was born. First thing to note is when dropped off by the coach you have to navigate around 30 steps from the road to get up to the reception. Not an easy task with a child, a baby and lots of luggage! We arrived Friday night and enjoyed the relaxed holiday vibe for 2 days. Food selection is limited, even on the all inclusive basis. However, this is minor in comparison to the lack of security and nonchalant response of hotel staff to a burglary, which occurred in our room. We went to the pool at 10am and returned to our room at 3:30pm in order to get changed to walk into Playa Blanca for a meal and drinks. On entering our room, which we had left locked and secure, we discovered that the bathroom window was wide open, wardrobe doors ajar and lots of our clothes and property had been strewn around. It became clear that someone had entered our room and stolen lots of our belongings including clothing, footwear, toiletries and electronic equipment. Luckily our passports, money and keys were inside the safe! I immediately reported the incident to reception. The hotel response was to send housekeeping and maintenance. The windows in the room were swiftly screwed shut by maintenance, before any security or police report was taken. There was no sign of forced entry, but the hotel minimised the burglary and were reluctant to admit this could be an employee. The incident was formally reported to the Police (required a return taxi to the station at our cost of 50 euros), in order to fill in a basic form. Whilst there, I was informed that four burglaries have been officially reported to have occurred at the hotel (possibly more unreported) in the last month. It’s tarnished our holiday. No sign of hotel security since arrival, yet coincidentally appeared when the police arrived on scene and made himself visible all evening. On a positive note, no chance of us exceeding the Jet2 22kg luggage allowance on our return flight!!

We booked this hotel for our first holiday abroad. I did some research before we booked it as we wanted somewhere quiet and this hotel and location did not disappoint. The hotel, complex and apartments were clean, comfortable, spacious and well maintained. We did lots of walking to various locations during our week. Our favourite was watching the sunrise at the top of Montana Roja, which was next to the hotel. A nice beach was around 1.5km away but there were also other smaller beach areas just under 1km from the hotel. We walked to the Lighthouse and the port to catch the ferry to Fuerteventura. We caught the bus to Playa Blanca town which was 1.40 euros. Playa Blanca town and Marina is only 4.5km away. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed on an all inclusive basis and were happy with the choice of 4 cocktails and the other drinks available. We were also happy with the choice of availability and choice of food. Some of the evening entertainers were good. If you enjoy walking and want somewhere quiet then this hotel is for you.

Just home from a 7 night stay over October half term. Before arriving we were aware of the security issues the hotel was experiencing and were a little apprehensive. I contacted the hotel and Jet2 prior to travelling to request a centrally located room and this was honoured without any fuss, it is however worth noting that the culprit of the burglaries has been apprehended and is residing in a Spanish jail so you shouldn’t allow that to put you off. We’ve really enjoyed our stay here overall and there’s very little not to like. The rooms are clean and spacious with a large veranda, the food & drinks whilst not extensive are sufficient for a weeks stay and the pools are beautiful, with both the middle pool and small kids pool both heated during the winter months. Special mention to Celia and Margarita from the animation team who were wonderful with our kids and did a great job of providing some Halloween entertainment alongside the usual weekly programme of activities. A couple of improvements which could be made would be some better nighttime entertainment and more selection of desert options in the buffet but other than that it’s a decent small and friendly hotel. Thanks again to all the staff and we’ll hopefully visit again in the future.

Just returned from a fabulous stay here in LABRANDA Hotel Alyssa. Travelled with 2 children - we absolutely loved it here l, the staff are all so helpful and friendly spoke with the children every day - a really good option on half board to exchange evening meal for lunch meaning we could go out in the evening which we enjoy doing. Rooms clean and comfortable - would probably opt for a 2 bedroom bungalow for future stays just for a bit more wardrobe space but was fine for a week. Food was really fresh and lovely and a special shout out to the ladies in the morning on the omelette station - perfect fresh omelettes and 2 lovely ladies - pools some of the best we’ve been to as a family loads of space and sun loungers - stunning views and heated middle pool was lovely A lovely walk down to the seafront and beach and playa Blanca - we felt safe and secure all week and would recommend to any family such as nice place and our new favourite side of playa Blanca - I would probably give the hotel a really good 4 star on food staff cleanliness and the room more a 3 star but would definitely be 4* with a few tweaks like a bit more wardrobe space for a stay for 4 people - this was however the most relaxing holiday and relaxed hotel weve stayed in for a family - thanks for all the hardworking staff all week

This is the second year in a row we have visited the Labranda and we've loved it again this year, there was an incident at the start of the holiday which I'll state due to how much hard work the hotel staff put in making sure they did every procedure right for the customers. The pool is well laid out with three different sizes for children of all ages, there is a good selection of food to choose from with all the staff been helping and polite on ever interaction with you. Entertainment around the pool and on night times didn't disappoint Lovely weather and views. Rooms on clean and tidy and looked after on a daily basis. Would definitely recommend the Labranda to any family looking for a nice holiday away and hope to book for my third to go next year.

The hotel caters to both couples and families, with different pool areas allowing everyone to make the most of the area. The rooms were regularly cleaned and well looked after with a sea view room being a highlight of the holiday. The staff were consistently kind and helpful, a particular thanks to Simone for making this trip so memorable.
